Ancestral Money Wounds: The Generational Pattern You Don't Know You're Carrying

Christine J. Gold and Julia identify six ancestral money wounds that shape how you relate to wealth: a Depression-era grandmother's scarcity, a father linking worth to work, a mother's martyr complex, family secrecy, class betrayal fears, and religious shame around money. They offer practical tools like budgeting, affirmations, and cord-cutting meditations to release these inherited patterns.

Yeah, my, my beautiful cat Ebony is now signaling and symbolizing that yes, we're ready to begin our Breaking Through Money Blocks and Financial Abundance here. I'm Christine J Gold, and I'm in Canada, and this is beautiful Ebony, and I'll pass it on to Julia.
Yeah, I'm here in Japan, and we are here today to talk about how we have experienced financial blocks, money blocks in our life, and how we want to create more abundance in our own lives and support others also in creating more abundance in their lives.
Yes, absolutely. So if you are new here, say hello. If you're a friend of ours and, and follow us, say hello as well. And we always want to know where you are in the world. Um, because it's, it's just fun. I mean, we're, what, what is it, a 10-hour flight from Calgary to Tokyo, Japan? And how many hours between us as well? And, but I'm not sure either.
It's not my 9:30 in the morning. What time is it for you?
It is 6:30 PM.
Okay, so that's a lot of hours between us.
Yes, it is a lot of hours. Uh, and We've been collaborating together the last, well, every 2 weeks and just sharing, you know, what, what I do and, and what Julia does and kind of bringing everybody together. So, uh, but what kept coming up, and I've also noticed this not just for myself but for the clients I work with, is money. Now when I ask people how do they feel about money like right now. How do you, how do you feel about money? Put it in the chat. Does it feel constricting, restrictive, heavy, like, um, Sands of Time, you know, that it just disappears? Um, is it everywhere and there's always enough? I mean, we all have our own story about money. And the biggest piece is really from our ancestors, like our family, our lineage.
So I don't know if we have anyone live here. I can't see, um, any comments in the chat yet. So if you are here, please feel free to put your answers to Christine's question in the chat. When you asked that, Christine, the— actually, the first thing comes up, and partly it's probably because I took some time to get myself, you know, aligned. I knew we were coming on today, so I got myself into a centered state of being, because I think your state of being really affects how you feel about things as well. So when you asked that today, my first thought was, well, I feel open, you know, to possibility with money. Other days it will come in really differently as well, depending on, you know, what's going on in my life and how centered I am as well. But then when I rephrase it, like, how do you feel about having money? 'Or that, that, that still feels kind of comfortable with me.' Um, 'How do you feel about having lots of money?' That's when it starts to be like, 'Oh.' So I think it's really interesting to play with different, you know, variations of the question and see, 'Oh, where does the resistance come up for me?' Because when I bring in that 'lots of money,' then I start to get some resistance. So maybe we can look into the resistance that we get. What, what, where do you start to feel resistance, Christine? Or are you like, wow, there's money everywhere and it's always available to me? I love that one.
Yeah, and I believe that. I, I mean, the old Christine in 2017 would have been like, oh, there's not enough, I only need a little bit, I don't need a lot. You know, that type of, of scarcity. Basically, it's a scarcity mindset. Um, and I— there are 6, uh, wounds, money wounds, that are from your ancestral lineage that I'm going to dive into a little bit more as well. But now money is a tool. Money is energy. Money is a frequency, just like love is, just like any emotion, any thought you send out into the world. Is going to come back to you. And the more that you see yourself as a magnet and open to everything and attached to nothing is another beautiful one, because that says I'm not controlling anything, because we're not in control of anything, right?
I find that personally, um I have a lot easier time creating abundance flowing in because when you're speaking, I think I do still have that, some of that scarcity. I do kind of like try to get— if I feel like money is tight, you kind of have two options. You either try to generate more money or you try to, you know, cut down your spending. And I tend to go with the trying to cut down my spending route because you know, like you were saying, it all comes from our ancestral family, and that would be how that I was brought up, that, you know, oh well, if there isn't enough coming in, then we need to shave a little bit here, shave a little bit there. So I actually, I, I tend to almost do that, I think, in advance so that I protect myself from getting to that state where there's really not enough. So I do tend to live quite simply, and I'm actually, I'm in many ways quite happy living quite I feel like I get a lot of my happiness from my connection with people around me, with nature, with, you know, the work that I do, and it's very rewarding. Um, and yet I also, you know, I do ask myself, so how much of that is just genuinely like being happy, which is a good thing with the way that I am and the situation that I'm in, and how much of it is actually unconsciously like point, that programming creeping in there and, you know, keeping me from desiring more or allowing myself— even if there's kind of a little part of me that wants it, like quickly shutting it down with, you know, no, you know, I've got enough and, and, and I'm good as I am. And that I find that a really interesting question because, um, there'd be so much more that I could do for myself And for others, for my family, for, you know, for people in the world in general, if I had a little bit more wealth just to play with— but when I say the word wealth, again, that's something, and I know this is from my background, it's like, oh, you know, we're not the type of people who have that kind of thing. That's not us, like, that's them over there, kind of thing. There's very much still a separation there, I within me.
That's very interesting. That's, um, I believe— oh, that's number 5 out of the 6 wounds. We don't do that lineage. Ah, when I, when I was writing this out and, um, I, I— there were a couple in there that really stood out. So why don't we just get in, like, get right into this, and then maybe we'll do a clearing and an activation after to clear money blocks and bring in financial abundance. But also the other piece, I want people to think, what does wealth mean to you? Because it's not always money. It's, it's a whole bunch of other things that make you feel wealthy. Maybe you have the most amazing relationship, maybe you have the best health, maybe you grow your own food, and for you that might be wealth. Because you're not just, you know, nourishing yourself, you're— you may be nourishing others, but you're nourishing the planet too. Um, it's— it's— I guess, what does that mean to you, and, and how are we going to change our lack, our, our mindset, our blocks? And, um, so we'll just get into the first one. The first one was the Depression-era grandmother, number one. Remember the Great Depression? I know people talk about it a lot, or I'd hear about a lot. They did a lot of movies about it, but it's all about waste not, want not, and how we never throw anything away. And I also feel that's where some hoarding problems come in as well, because I do hear people say I'll be like, well, wow, how long do you have it? Oh, 20 years. When's the last time you used it? Um, I don't know. Why do you have it? Oh, because I might need it someday. Oh, okay. Yeah, no, I get that. I do. However, there's some type of attachment with that. So that wound is scarcity as identity. So even when there is enough, it never feels like it's enough. How does that land for you?
Yeah, and if there's anyone who wants to put something in the chat, do feel free to do so. Yeah, that also resonates quite highly. I think especially with food, I mean, of course I do sometimes throw away food, but I really try not to. So I will kind of eat food up to its turning point. And I know other people, Japanese people, do not usually do that. They will throw food away much quicker than I will. And I've already noticed that. And again, I don't know, I'm not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing because I don't want to be wasteful. I believe there's so many things around this that I kind of feel a little bit conflicted around. Because I do believe that it's really great, uh, good to be grateful to Gaia for what she is providing and the food that we are receiving. And so I genuinely don't want to waste that. I do want to, you know, treat it with honor and with respect.
And yeah, and that's perfectly fine. You have a balanced approach. That's—
yeah, yeah, maybe, maybe the balanced approach. And at the same time, I also know that, you know, the very freshest vegetables are the ones that have the most life energy and the best, and that are the best for your body and for creating that healthy stream of life in your body. So, um, you know, it's like you also— I also want to honor and respect my body vessel, um, too. So, um, yeah, I, I definitely think that's something that is still alive in me to certain extent. I do, partly because I'm an artist. I find myself keeping things all the time. I'm like, maybe I can use this in an art project sometimes, and often I do use them. And yet it does mean that, um, my environment tends to get a little bit cluttered, um, as well. So I certainly think there's some of that alive in me, and in many ways, um, it's useful in my life. It's not that I can't throw anything away, so it is, um, to some degree imbalance. I do think, um, I think when there's a real hoarding problem, that it begins with psychologically not being able to let things go, and that there's a real attack, and there's like a fear that comes that, oh, I can't let go of that, you know, like even though there's no reason that it would feel life-threatening to let go of something. I think to the individual, if there is, is a genuine like hoarding problem there, it— or a hoarding program there, then it feels like— and it kind of like it's a constriction, um, in the throat, and they're like, oh my God, if I let that go, it's— they maybe they can't express what, but it feels like it's gonna put them in a dangerous situation somehow. And I don't experience that with it, so I think it's kind of like a more balanced— but I do think I have very much Waste Not Want Not mentality alive in me still. How about you?
Uh, yeah, absolutely. That it's, it's a balance, and I'm very, um, intentional about what I buy. Um, I ask myself, do I need it? Is it a need or a want? And I think that's probably the most important thing. And it— and I'm very, yeah, pragmatic, um, about planning my meals and, and buying, you know, food or growing or whatever it is. And, um, well, I'm a minimalist. I live suitcase, so I practice it very well. I've never had that, um, uh, issue. And but when I walk into people's homes, I see it a lot. And I'm in a lot of people's homes, different homes, especially in their closets and in their pantry and the garage. Those seem to be the three places that people seem to just They buy things that are— and I, you know, I look at expiration dates a lot, and I know there's, you know, there's leeway on things, but it's like 4 years old and they haven't used it. I'm like, okay, what's going on here? Um, just things like that I notice. Uh, you— I call it pattern recognition. So anyways, uh, so we'll go to number 2, um, and this one's kind of personal as well. We are in June, so happy June. But it's also fathers, you know, the honoring our fathers this month. Number 2 is the father who worked himself to the bone. And for me, my dad in this case had heart failure. There was this mentality of money does not grow on trees. There is— you have to work hard, work yourself to the bone, like to the blood, for every dollar you earned. And the wound was worth. I have a lot of people— I even have my own worthiness wound that took a very long time to heal, and I know that there's a lot of people out there that still have it. So this is about your worth equals productivity. Rest feels like stealing. Like, when I work with my clients, when I say, when do you rest? They're like, oh, I don't have time, I, I have so much to do. If I'm not doing anything, then I'm lazy. See, all these things that we say to ourselves, we actually block a lot of things, including money, from those conversations that we have, right?
I resonate with that one to some degree too, um, not with the working yourself to the bone, um, aspect of it so much, but money doesn't grow on trees. That was some— certainly something I heard about a lot as a child. And the fact that you have to work hard to have— to be able to be deserving of money. Like, we can't just be deserving of money flowing to us just because we're alive and, you know, Source set up this beautiful situation where we are supported and thriving. And like you, you know, I've done some work on it and have shifted it a bit. I, I think there's still a way to go for sure. Um, I'm not— I don't feel guilty when I rest. Um, I would say that I really see resting as a necessity for myself to keep my health in balance and to nourish myself. Um, I think Actually, more than myself having an issue with it, I have noticed that people around me perhaps, um, especially because my work, not so much now, but in the past has tended to be in the evening. And so in the daytime, I would be walking my dog or whatever, and people would say to me, oh, are you off again today? You're not going to work? And I was, I was going to work in the afternoon, but like I had that as a regular experience for many years because my, um, working hours were slightly different to everyone else's. And living in quite a traditional area where people live a more traditional lifestyle, that would be like a regular comment that I would get. And I have found that more than having a problem with taking time for myself, um, for myself. I've, I've felt that people have— other people have really had a problem with it. They've kind of like judged it, and they, um, because my lifestyle is not completely— I mean, who's this? Like, now there's a whole variety of lifestyles, right? But because I live in a farming area, which is much more, you know, you work in the daytime and you rest in the evening, and so a farming cult area where lots of farming is done and where there are lots of elderly people, which I, I think is, is where that— it's not so much the young people that reflect it to me, it tends to be elderly people because it's— I, and I, I certainly don't think they're trying to demean me or anything, it's just like a, like a block in their consciousness that they're not so used to so many different lifestyles, and so they can't see that, um, there are different ways of being in the world and working to the one that they have. And so they were reflecting that back to me, and yet it felt at times like a judgment on me. I don't think they judge me, is what I'm saying, but it did feel like a judgment on me.
No, and I get that. And you need to have a t-shirt or a button that says, I work Don't worry, that would just get rid of all the same questions anyways. Now that's me being cheeky. Um, okay, uh, number 3 is The Mother Who Went Without, and this one hits for my mother because she was, um, she was, uh, an orphan. So you— she had that orphan abandonment mentality. And she would always say to us, I don't need anything, I'm good, just take care of the kids. So, and don't spend money on me either. My mom would say that too. Um, but then as she got older, she would also say, I just want time. So I, I get that piece, and I'm the same way. I'd prefer to have an experience with you or a memory or a time than, than you spending money on something that I could get myself. So the wound is about being a martyr, and receiving feels selfish, even shameful. And I know so many people have trouble receiving gifts or receiving compliments, receiving— just receiving, right?
That was another thing that I wrote down actually when I was preparing for this. I do think I have a receiving block. Receiving does not feel shameful to me though. I actually, I love receiving, but I'm not very good at— I guess I'm better at receiving in close relationships.
Okay.
I'm not so good at receiving compliments. Like, I'm, I'm And, you know, if somebody like buys like a bar of chocolate for a treat for me, something like that, like a small little something which lights up my day, I love that kind of receiving. I'm probably, um, oh no, that I am. My— it's really weird because I was thinking I'm not good at receiving. I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm better at receiving some things than other things actually. I was recently gifted a beautiful night's stay in a hotel and I was good at receiving, which is quite a big thing to me. That's like, wow, that's a big thing to receive. And, um, and yeah, I, I just enjoyed it thoroughly. And so I'm good at the receiving of some things, and yet I do— I tend to push away compliments. Um, so it's really interesting. I, I am better at receiving some things than others. How does that show up for you?
Yeah, the, the compliments I've learned to now just say thank you where I would, um, deflect it. But for me, a compliment— oh yeah, that's a tough one. It really depends on who it's coming from. Like, read the room, right? A lot of people are— I'm not saying a lot— some people try to get stuff from you.
Ah, so there's more like a flattery energy.
Yes, I can tell the difference between a real, like, a true compliment and then just a bunch of flattery BS, buttering you up, being charming. I don't like charmers because charmers are— yeah, they, they have— they don't have good intentions, and they tend to be sociopathic or narcissistic anyways.
And then you sense that because you're so sensitive. It's like, it's like—
I do, I do. Actually, there was somebody in my cohort that I can't remember, she complimented my hair or something, and I, and I, and I I could already feel like this is not a connection.
Um, was—
I said, oh, I washed my hair today, haha. But she didn't take it as a joke. She's like, oh, come on, Christine, just take the compliment. And I'm like, oh, that came with swords. So I was right. Anyways, isn't that interesting?
I meet that many— I, I mean, I know, you know, you've been in Japan. Japanese people tend to be very genuine. I don't— yes, cross much flattery. Um, actually, I, I think generally when I receive a compliment, it's more genuine. Um, but I do tend to deflect, which is also very much a part. And actually, I worked on myself for a while, and I was getting to the stage where I was saying thank you, but then I felt a little bit judged at times because Japanese people do deflect, and they think that Japanese people are, even if they're very accomplished, they will say, oh, you know, I can't really do it. And so I felt like when I was like just saying thank you, um, there were not everyone, but in some cases there was a little bit of, oh, she's really full of herself, um, or, um, in Japanese society it's very polite to minimize your gifts completely.
Um, gotcha. Okay, where in the Western world it's the total 100 times amplification where it's really a turn-off.
Ah, so you, you build yourself up, you make yourself look better than you are, bigger than you are kind of thing.
Grandiose. And that's part of a narcissist. We, we definitely have the narcissistic tendencies in the Western culture, unfortunately. More so.
I mean, I'm not saying there's not anyone like that in Japan, that there may be, but, um, certainly as a general cultural trait, um, people really play down their gifts.
Interesting. So actually, speaking of that, that's number 4.
Really?
You're talking about that, that this is number 4. We're leading naturally into number 4. The family, we don't talk about it. And money, it was tense. Money was whispered, and money was fought about behind closed doors. The wound is that money equals conflict. It's conflicting, it's secretive, it's dangerous. And because of that, it's safer to stay small.
I haven't thought about that one before, but that one actually resonates a lot. Um, I mean, I have— I've, of course, I've journaled around this whole area, so in the past, so I have thought about it, but I hadn't actually put it as simply as that— money equals conflict— which I think in my house it kind of did for a while. And my father was made redundant, and so we actually genuinely kind of didn't have enough money for a while. And it was pretty stressful, um, I think, for my parents. Um, and so it did create a lot of stress and a lot of conflict between them. Um, I don't think there was such that behind closed doors element. Um, I guess it was behind the closed doors of our family home maybe, but not— it wasn't like behind a closed door within the home. Um, and then that keeping yourself small, I certainly think that is a pattern that I've had activated in myself. Um, I don't know if it's coming from this place, or it's more like it was dangerous to shine, I think. Um, you know, if you— I don't know about over in Canada, but in the in the UK, like, if you're seen to— I, I just enjoyed learning, so I was relatively good at school. And if you were good at school, it wasn't like the cool thing to do, and you kind of invited in a little bit of criticism, um, from your peers perhaps. Um, whereas here in Japan, it's actually— I think it's more acceptable to like actually do well at school. Um, it's not you're not likely to be attacked for that by your peers as such, I think. Whereas in the UK, I think it could invite in attack. So it's like, I think where I was dimming my light, um, comes more from that than from the money thing. But that would be a really thing— interesting thing for me to explore. Like, is it actually money equals conflict? And that— is that also causing me to dim my light in some way. How does that one resonate for you?
Yeah, I, I can see that. I mean, unfortunately, it's just like when you're healing or you're changing, the people around you don't like it because then it triggers something in them. But also, that means you change, and then they have to change, and then they start getting competitive or they have all these stories and they get jealous, like envy, and, um, and, and very competitive. So, and I never enjoyed school. It was completely boring for me because I learned differently. Now I know that now, having late diagnosis with ADHD. I, I was a visual thinker, but the way they teach in schools, that they don't— they cater to one box, and if you don't fit in that box, which I don't When I got into college, now that was different for me. I excelled. So beautiful.
So when you got to college, there was like various ways of teaching that worked with the kind of learner that you are?
Yes, and it wasn't a typical university. It was more of a hands-on, real-world, um, college. Where we were following the stock market, where we were building business plans, like real things, not just lectures. We were actually doing— it's very interesting connection now because that's how I work with my clients. You don't just talk about it, you don't just watch a video and then go, that's nice. No, you actually have to embody it, right? Right. Very cool. Okay, 25 years later, I'm just making this connection. Okay, funny how that works. Uh, number 5 is, we don't do that lineage, meaning people like us don't have money. Rich people are greedy, they're evil, they're corrupt, and they're not like us. The wound is abundance means betraying your family, your class, and your roots, whatever that happens to be.
Right. As I said, that was one that came up for me very strongly, and I feel like on an intellectual level, I know that that is completely not true. Um, you know, there are rich people and poor people who are amazing people, rich people and poor people who are, you know, not so nice people, they're trying to take advantage of you. I totally know that on an intellectual level, but I know that that was— I think that whole, like, you know, they're not like us and we're not like them, and, and that separation between you and money basically is what that's creating, right? Um, um, but also the there, there tends to be a moral judgment that comes into it, right? Like, you know, you put yourself on the right moral side of the equation. Um, that I think that was not so much just in my family. Maybe my family had a bit of that, but I think it was in the whole culture of my town. Um, like it was kind of like a working, more a working-class town, I guess. And in the whole culture, um, embedded, you know, just the friendships that um, I had when I was young. I think, you know, the people around me were very much in that mentality, so it just kind of like rubbed off on me without me even knowing it. And then the fact that I went to, um, Sunday school as a child as well, and, you know, and heard things like, it's easier for a poor man to go to heaven than a rich man to go through the eye of a needle. No, I can't remember what the phrase is, but something like that. The rich man and the needle, and he can't get to He can't get to the— through the— what is it? No, it's easier. No, I can't remember. Something about a camel, I guess.
Yeah, the cow. Actually, that's, uh, number 6. Oh, the camel going through the eye of— that's— wow, this is so wild. It is.
We're leading into each next one so naturally. It's really funny because, you know, Christine hadn't even talked about these with me before we got on. She told me she'd got them to share, but she hadn't told me the details.
Well, when you know, you know, right? When you're tuned in, you're just naturally— though that information's coming in for you and it's all connected and all interconnected.
So you have the right wording for the phrase when we get to the next point anyway. How about this one? How does this one resonate with you?
Yeah, no, this one does too. I used to think people were greedy and corrupt and um, you know, like on a pedestal in a way, like almost like fame or stardom, celebrity. But that's such an illusion, such a mirage. They're just normal people who decided they wanted— they had a dream and they went for it. That's it. And they knew how to, um, 10x their steps by surrounding themselves with other rich people, other people who are doing really well. And I guess that's the secret, not the book, not the movie. And, and I had actually written this down, or I posted this on my personal page on Facebook, that poverty and financial lack is a mindset, dot, dot, dot. Shift. So I'm really challenging people now. I get it, there are people that are born into poverty. However, that is not your, your outcome. But it is not truth.
No, you know, we all came in, we are one with Creator Source, and Creator Source is abundant, and Creator Source has enough, is enough, is able to just be in the flow of giving and receiving and have whatever you need in the moment. And we, I think very much we're going into an age where we really co-create with Creator Source in all of our creations. And so it's the time for us to acknowledge and to embody more of that, like, Creator Source essence that we are. And part of that is flow and abundance and you know, genuine joy-filled creation. It's not like work is a slog. I really think this is the age that we are moving into as humanity, um, and that this is actually— I hadn't thought about it before we got on, but just talking about it's a great time to be doing this and to be looking at these wounds and to shifting them so that we can come into more of that, you know, flow where we are able to receive, um, to be in the cycle of giving and receiving, and to receive what it is that Source wants to bring to us and, and flow through us for our joy and, and for the joy and the benefit of the people around us.
Yeah, reciprocity. I mean, or the infinity symbol. I mean, it, it never ends. It's, it's— and just like us, we never end. I mean Um, and what I really want, uh, to talk about is the last one, because I feel that— I'm sure you work with people who have had this, I've worked with clients who've had this— is religious programming. And I feel that's the most damaging one, and it's been happening for thousands of years. Like they say, history repeats itself. Who has the most power? Well, look to the church. Look to politics and look to science. I call that the unholy trinity. Money is the root of all evil. It's easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle. That's, that's the saying. The wound is wealth and spirituality cannot exist, cannot coexist. Choosing one betrays the other. Why these churches, they have mega churches And, you know, there's been so much corruption in church, um, so much abuse in the churches, and so much bloodshed and killing in the church. But then they want you to donate, they want you to give all your money, pay all your taxes to the church because you're God-fearing people. So they basically put the fear of God in you even though there is nothing to fear. Because like you said, God is Source, God is abundant, God is love, God is the co-creator, and so are we.
Anyways, and it comes back to what we were sharing about in the last one too, like they're, they're doing that because they want to retain their status as like the middleman. It's like, you can't go directly to Source, you need us. And then they put people in that— the reason that you would donate money was because you would be even unconsciously in the fear state, right? That, oh, I can't have that connection to Source myself, so then I need to use you as the middleman. So I need to pay you so that I don't lose that connection. Um, I, I think that's less of a thing. I don't know, I think it's less of a thing probably for people now. Like, I know that, for example, in the UK, in my generation, not everyone, but a fair few people, I think, probably were brought up to going to church at um, not necessarily every week, but they have some kind of knowledge. And I, I think that's less of a thing now. I think more and more people have stepped away from the church, and so there's probably a lot less of that religious programming for the younger generation. I don't know, that would— I haven't actually lived in the UK for many years now, so I'm not entirely sure, but that is the sense that I get. Um, how is that in Canada and other places that you've been?
Yeah, church, you know, for some people that still have religious wounding, it's, it's— they want nothing to do with it, and they're still healing through all the religious trauma that they've had. And a lot of times it's placed upon them. You know, in our house, we're Catholic and we go to church, and if you don't do this, you don't do that, you're this, you're that, you're out of the house. There's a lot of control, there's a fear. I, I also feel the new generations coming in, they're building the churches within. Yeah, and it always has been. That's where things are changing and shifting. But I'm also seeing extremes of— and I've gone to churches where I have been judged, I have been shamed, I have been outed. It's very interesting. Um, And, or, or people will ask me, are you a Christian? And I'm like, okay, this is where the, the rubber, you know, this is where you're going to see where people change. When I come back and say I'm an omnist, and most people don't know what that means, so I tell them, and then here comes the judgment, the shame, the fear, the hate. We're God-fearing people. And I'm like, well then why are you judging me? Why are you hating on me? And then people will have taken it further where, because I read oracle cards or tarot cards, that I do the work of the devil and I'm going to hell. And I come back and say, I've already been there, honey. What else you got?
Well, that's a super powerful response. You have a good cheeky vibe going, I guess. You could get the t-shirt with that one.
Or I love my favorite— I've seen t-shirts already. Not today, Satan. Not today. Nice try. Because, you know, Satan, dark, negative, whatever you want to call it, is always working in the background anyways. I used to be very, very upset about it, but now I laugh because it's just ridiculous what happens. So I want to ask people, you know, when we talked about money at the beginning, how do you feel about it? Maybe you can comment. Is it bad? Is it evil? Do you deserve it? Do you have enough? Is there ever enough? Are you worthy of this money? Um, and I, I think, yeah, it was Alan Watts who said money is the menu, not the meal. And I like that because I'm visual and I'm like, oh, I'll choose this, I'll choose that, and a little bit of this. So it's a symbol, it's not the substance. There, there's the different— the differentiator. And then Louise Hay, she does a lot of mirror work, and I think we've talked about her too. Because it's an inherited wound, we actually need to speak to ourselves about money, to the mirror, about what we believe and what we're no longer believing and what we actually, um, know that is our, our truth of, of who we are when it comes to money, right?
And what we're choosing to believe and to, to program into our mind.
Yes. Yeah. And, and if you think it's silly to stand in the mirror and tell yourself that you are so abundant, you are so worthy, and you are so deserving of love and peace and joy and compassion and abundance and grace, then you need to do that more. Like when I ask people, do you tell yourself— do you look in the mirror and say, I love you? And they're like, You know, you get really weird.
No.
Well, why? Like, they get weird. Why would I do that? Do you tell your dog you love them? Well, of course. See how it changed? But I don't believe that for myself, right? That's, uh, very sad.
I've done that kind of mirror work, but I haven't done mirror work around abundance, actually. And so I've done kind of like, you know, I, I love you, you're, you know, you have intrinsic value, intrinsic worth. So I've kind of gone to the worth thing, but I haven't actually brought the money in there. So that would be a really interesting component to perhaps add as well.
Absolutely. And it often brings up a lot of resistance at first, right?
It, you know, it takes a while for you to be able say it and feel like you mean it.
Yeah, and, and I think the biggest piece is many of us don't have budgets. And budget doesn't mean you're going to be a miser. Budget is going to show you where your energy leaks are, your money leaks are, and it's going to actually smack you upside the head and go, okay, why are you not paying yourself? You need to at least tithe. Forget about the church. How about you tithe yourself 10% every month? Of what you make, and it comes out automatically. And then take it a step further. I'm actually now going into stock trading. I'm very invested and interested in this. And then I have different accounts. I have an emergency fund, I have a travel fund because I love traveling, and all of that, all of it is diverted into different places. Because when you look at the big picture— and I thought this was so silly to do this, why bother? And I will actually track all of my expenses every day too, because then it really shows you, oh, you like to go to get coffee too many times with that croissant, so you could save yourself $30 a week if you only went once a week. Then, and then maybe you got rid of the croissant and just had the coffee.
Like, yeah, I do track my expenses, um, and it does show me where money leaks are. Like, I track it by the month, and, you know, um, it really helps you to make more intentional decisions. I think if after you've been doing it over time and you're like, oh, you know, um, I spent a little bit too much on going out that month, and if that's what you wanted to do and you really enjoyed it and it really filled you up and it made feel you're alive, I think that's fantastic. But if you're like, well, actually I didn't get as much joy from it as I thought I would have done, and you know, maybe next time I'll cut back, I won't go out, um, you know, every time I'm asked I really feel into does this resonate with me as a yes or not. So you're making more conscious decisions about what you want to spend your money on. I mean, you can, you can probably do that without the budgeting aspect. But I do feel like, like keeping a track of it, it, it kind of just draws up things for your attention as well.
Yeah. And, and having money kind of, you know, my grandmother would put money in her mattress, whatever it is. My, my mom would put $10 bills. Every time she had a $10 bill, she put it in this jar. And at the end of the year, I think she had like $1,000. So whatever it is, I think it's really important to be intentional with your money and make it grow, however that— and, and growing starts by investing in yourself and knowing that you, um, deserve abundance and you deserve money because money is a tool and it's an energy and it comes from love and you are all of those things. Um, so maybe we can do a little, uh, clearing practice. Um, maybe we're going to name some blocks along the way. Um, I guess kind of like a money meditation in a way, with a little bit of cord cutting, because we tend to have some cords, energetic cords. Now it could be to maybe a partner or to family or to something that you're not aware of until you actually go into this, um, clearing session. So, um, this is really sacred receiving for empaths and sensitives, lightworkers, healers who overgive, moms, maybe even dads. Maybe you're a caregiver. I think it's really important. I've already got a candle lit. I mean, this was lit a while ago. I've been smudging, I've been clearing. And so I just invite you to close your eyes at this time. Have your feet on the ground if you can, and if you're more comfortable laying down, do so. It doesn't matter, it's all beautiful. And now that you're here, you're going to imagine that you have roots coming from your root chakra, your base chakra, at the base of your spine. These roots are now shooting down your legs and out your feet and into the earth, smashing through the dirt, the rocks the roots, the debris into the crystalline grid until it reaches the center of the Earth. And here there is a beautiful citrine crystal, beautiful yellow sparkling crystal. This is connected to your solar plexus chakra, which is your sun, your abundance, your confidence. Your adventurous side as well. Maybe a bit of a risk-taker, you know, when you didn't think you were one. And maybe you take too many risks. We need to bring those both into balance, intentional balance. So wrap your roots around this beautiful citrine and bring it back up the way that it came until it reaches just to the soles of your feet. And we're going to bring this beautiful yellow sparkling energy up through your feet, your ankles, your shins, your knees, your thighs, your buttocks, into your root chakra. Beautiful red flower, Wheel of Life. Spinning in perfect balance. And this is where you say you are enough, you have enough, and this or something better, because we tend to— when we ask for something, we play way too small. And that you are also safe and secure. And now we're going to bring this up through your sacral chakra. This is your beautiful inner child, your sensuality, your sensual self as well, getting in touch with your emotional side. A beautiful orange wheel of light spinning in perfect balance. You are seen. You are worthy. You do not have to do anything more. You just have to be and have more fun, because when you're having fun, you're in flow. And when you're in flow, so many more things come in, so many more come in and come out. It cycles in, it cycles out. It's reciprocal, it's reciprocity. So we're going to bring this up to your solar plexus. Chakra. This is your mighty I Am Presence. This is where all of your amazing creative ideas come in, and you're just gonna go for it without fear, without hesitation, because it's all false. Anything that does not come from love is false. We're going to bring this up to your heart chakra. We're opening all those compartments you neatly tuck things away for another time, don't want to deal with it, can't deal with it. They're now opening, they're flooding your whole entire body, they're being released because many times these boxes are not even yours to Carrie, you are love. Bringing it up to your throat chakra. This is your creative, your creativity center. Beautiful turquoise wheel of life, your hub of speaking, sharing, storytelling, singing. You all have a story to tell, to share, and what you say is valuable. I'm going to bring this up to your third eye. You may feel some pressure. You may want to put the roof of your— the tongue on the roof of your mouth to assist with this. It may feel like a light switch Flip the switch. Let go of old stories, old programming, things that you've been holding on to that are not yours to hold on to, not yours to carry. This is not your baggage. It is time to drop it. And the more that you clear your third eye, the more that you let go and let God the less confusion you will have, the less second-guessing you will have. Your intuition will become stronger. We're bringing this up to your crown chakra. This is your access point to your guides, your angels, your loved ones, and to God, to Source, the universe, as above, so So Below, lightning rod of beautiful dreams and insights, psychic downloads, creative solutions to any problem, because a problem is an opportunity. A problem is not a roadblock. If you see it as a roadblock, you need to switch that right now. Life is not meant to be coasted. Life is to be experienced, and every experience is vast and diverse. So now we're going to bring this back down through your crown, your third eye, your throat chakra, to your heart.
This—
the heart is the most intelligent. And now we're going to spend a few moments here with your heart, with Ho'oponopono prayer. If you're not familiar with it, you will be now. I want you to bring forward anyone that you might have some conflict with, whether you're connected or not connected anymore, whether they're here in the physical plane or whether they're in the ethereal plane, they're no longer with us. Bring them forward. You can see them. Maybe you can hear them. You can feel them. We're going to bring them in with love. There's no tension here. There's no strife. There is just connection because you took this time today to say I'm no longer carrying the wounds from the past, the money stories, the scripts, the trauma, the pain, the baggage, the old wives' tales, the spells that people cast on you or a family member. That told you we're not worthy, there's not enough, you don't have enough, we have to save everything, I don't deserve it. Those are all gone. And I want you to see this person, and now we're going to imagine there are roots, a connection from your solar plexus to their solar plexus, because that's what happens when we connect with other people. Knowingly or unknowingly, consciously or unconsciously, it doesn't matter. And we're going to ask Archangel Michael to come in and wield his mighty sword and cut these roots. This connection, it's now being cut. Imagine it's being cut right now. You're let go. You are free. You are no longer tethered. You don't have to carry this. You're not a martyr. You're not a people pleaser. You're not a perfectionist. You are none of those. You are formerly known as, and you're going to release this said person. The roots are going back. Thank you for the lessons. Is no longer carried in my lifetime. I am breaking these chains now. And I'm sorry. Please forgive me. I love you. And thank you. I'm sorry, please forgive me, I love you, thank you. I'm sorry, please forgive me, I love you, and thank you. You can take a deep breath in and And then let it go. And as you're breathing out, this, this energy, this connection is now going back to Mother Earth, back to Gaia, back to the ancestors, back to the stars, back to the universe. Wherever it's going, it's going back. It's no longer connected to you. And this beautiful practice can be done in a matter of minutes with practice, with intention, and it's very powerful. You may have not felt anything, you may have not seen anything, but I would very much say that things are happening behind the scenes. Things will shift in a matter of hours, days, and weeks. Thank you for traveling with me today.
That was beautiful.
Thank you.
And because you focused so much on the money programming and the lack programming and so forth, I would just like to bring in a little bit extra extra, I feel, about the projections. That was another thing that came up quite a lot in the sharing that we were doing today, and other people's projections of you, um, having money. Like, maybe, oh, she's so— I feel like women get it a lot more. I feel like it's a lot of the time it's okay for men to have women, just as it's okay for men to have lots more relationships and sexual relationships, versus women get more judged for these things than men do in the area of love and sex and money. So, um, which doesn't mean, you know, if you're a man and you felt the judgments on you, then of course this clearing is also going to work for you. But I feel like as women, um, you know, like, she's got money, what, what must she be doing to get that money? You know, she must be using her feminine wiles. Perhaps that's a judgment you've had on you, or or like I said, she's so full of herself, or, you know, um, and then as I said, you know, the Judgment— that this one would be much more, um, there for men as well, I would think, too. The Judgment that I've, you know, people saying to me, oh, you're not working— that was more based on my lifestyle than on money I have, but that's one that can come up about money, you know. Well, you know, you're not working hard enough to have that much the amount of money. So, you know, why should you be allowed to have that amount of abundance? Another one that I've had actually, um, on me, um, because I live in Japan and I teach English, so people saying, well, you were born speaking English, so why should you get paid for that? You're just so lucky, like, kind of thing. Like, um, almost like, um, so I, I've actually had a fair amount of projections and judgments on me, I think, around this whole area. Um, things that— I, I mean, I know that, you know, what is inside of us, um, creates the external world. And yet in, in many times, in many cases, I feel like I didn't actually have these thoughts until people, you know, told me, put them into words. I, I never felt like I, you know, coming to another country and teaching English was me getting money for something that was too easy until people started to tell me that, that some people saw it as that. So in my case, a lot of it has been more the projections that other people, I think, actually put on me. Rather, I mean, also a bunch of stuff inherited from my family, yes, and then an extra bunch of stuff like coming at me from projections that people have had. Um, so let's go on. Um, if you're listening, you know, later on replay, um, we'd love to know what projections that you have found, felt around money and having, and having things and possessions, and perhaps having a nice house, um, a nice car. I, I know that, you know, when you have, there are— it does, it can create a really— I think it stems from a, a feeling of envy. People would like to have what you have, and so then their reaction to that is to kind of like want to put you down for having it and to judge you. It comes up— it can come up as a very self-righteous judgment as well. Is there anything else you would like to comment on that, Christine, before, um, I take us into a clearing on it? Is there any way that you have experienced this kind of like projections?
Yeah, I'm glad you brought up the projections and That's terrible that people would say that to you. So clearly they have money blocks, they have a mindset issue, and they have some trauma around that. For you to teach English, you have to work really, really hard, or there's something else implied. Honestly, that's on them. It's kind of sad. Yeah, I know, that's what a projection is.
I mean, I'm not saying that there's many people who have done this, but, but I— it is something that I have I've had reflected back at me.
Or they try to throw you off and see if you will shrink. Mm. And you're like, oh no, not today, Satan. I see what you're trying to do here, and the work that I do is valuable and people pay me for it, and I love what I do. And I bet you there aren't too many people that can say that, full stop. For me, projections come from, um, my looks. I have a lot of women who are jealous of me because I— yeah, I've done modeling, and yeah, I'm good looking, sure, yes, this and that, and I got to travel. But there are a lot of other things, the dark parts that you did not see, the crap that I had to go through to get to where I am. So, so easy to judge and project. You have not walked— sorry, you have, you have not walked in her, in Julia's shoes, or my shoes, or anybody else's. And it is human to do that, but what— when you have a conscience, you will catch yourself and say, oh no, where's this coming from, right?
And I feel like, you know, um, if you are more attractive, then you— that could be judged around the whole abundance thing as well. People could be saying, oh well, you know, you're only lucky, you're only getting the chances because of the way that you look. You don't actually have any value, you know. You're not actually really intelligent enough to be doing that job. You just got it because, you know, you looked— you look good. Or underlying, maybe you slept with— I don't think there's so much—
slept with the boss. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh yeah, I know. I've heard that. I've heard that. Or I'm climbing the ladder and I'm stepping on— sleeping my way up. I'm like, wow. That's crazy. I would never do that because that's just a terrible— anyways, yeah.
Okay, so I mean, what— between Christine and I, we've had a whole bunch of projections then also kind of around this area of abundance thrown at us by other people. What are some of the projections that you have had, um, thrown at you? Um, we'd love you to put them in the chat.
If you're listening later on replay.
And in the meantime, I am going to take us through a short clearing just to clear some of those.
So inviting everyone just to close your eyes again. Bringing the attention back to the heart. And first, just sitting in the remembrance that we are this heart-connected essence. Feeling our connection to Source above and Gaia below. And us in the central point, like the central point of the figure of 8, the infinity sign that Christine J Gold was speaking of before, where we receive the flow of abundance both from Source and from the Earth, and activating the remembrance within us that this is our truth. That this is our natural birthright, our divine inheritance, to experience ourselves in this flow of goodness and grace. Abundance, love, the love that Source has for us, the love that the Earth has for us. This love being expressed as so many things. Connection, relationships, good things happening in our life, beautiful surprises in our day. Also networks that support us, and money and wealth that flows to us to enable us to follow our soul's unique joy, our soul's unique path and purpose, and to flow through us more abundance into the world. As we rest in this centered place of the love that we are and the abundance that we are. Again, asking Archangel Michael to come in with his sword and Ascended Master Saint Germain to bring in his Violet Flame. And these are to cut the cords to and to release The attachments from the projections that other people have put on us regarding wealth or prosperity, having Having things, having money. I'm asking that all of this be returned to source, to love. Where it can do no harm to anyone. And then once more, dropping a grounding cord from our root chakra into the center of Gaia, down to her very central core. And breathing Gaia's energy back up this grounding cord through our feet, our legs, and into our root chakras. And seeing it expand out as a strong and vibrant red energy in our root chakra on the out-breath. And just feeling how supported by Gaia we are. How safe we are to receive this support, to say yes to the abundance and the prosperity the money, the wealth, as well as the other ways that abundance shows up— good food, good friends, love, good relationships, the perfect teachers at the perfect time. Signs and synchronicities on our path, all kinds of ways that love, that abundance flows to us, allowing ourselves just to spend a moment feeling that connection to Source, to the divine birthright of Being supported, of receiving all that we need. Asking Source also to guide us clearly, our higher self to guide us clearly in the Highest aligned ways to use the abundance that flows to us for our soul's joy. As we continue to rest in this place, just feeling ourselves one with the energy of abundance. It is one aspect of the Divine, one face of the Divine. Just as we feel ourselves one with the love of God, the love that the Divine has for us, just as we feel ourselves One with the essence of joy that is Source, the essence of peace That is Source. We feel ourselves also with the essence of abundance. That is Source. Knowing that abundance comes to us because it's meant for us, and it's a joy for the Divine to give us abundance, and the Divine wants us to be in the joy of receiving it, to feel that as a joyful experience, to be filled up with the gratitude and the joy of what we already have. At the same time as leaving ourselves open to the possibility of the more that is ready and waiting to flow in, opening our hearts to be in the receiving of that now. Taking a breath of Source Light in from above, bring it down through our chakra system into the root. And then breathing it down from the root into the center, the core of Gaia. And on the next in-breath, feeling Gaia's love come back to us. Knowing that we are enough, we have enough, we are worthy and deserving of abundance. Of having the financial means to do the things that we love, that our soul is guiding us towards. And allowing this knowing to attract, to magnetize the abundance in Just another face of the love that Source is available for us to receive. At any time, as Source is always pouring his/her/its love into our lives. And then when you're ready, coming back to the room that we are in.
And we hope that all that we have shared today is a blessing on your path, um, the shift that you need in terms of abundance and prosperity and wealth. You have received something of value from what it is that we have been able to share with you today.
Yes, that was, that was lovely. I really felt, uh, Archangel Michael and Saint Germain, and especially at the end too with, you know, the reminder of the abundance with each breath that we already are and that we're also welcoming in more as we're breathing in and as we're breathing out. It's just cycle and cycles of who we are already, right?
And the more we can align with us as that energy of the abundance, the more we just allow it to flow in.
Yes, absolutely. That, that was, uh, so beautiful. If if you feel, um, that this was something worthwhile and that you really appreciate, thank you so much. We'd love to hear your comments, maybe your stories, your feedback. And, um, thank you, Kirsten, for the love. We appreciate you. We see you. And of course, if you would like to donate or send chats or however, if you're feeling that is something that you would like to reciprocate or, uh, some type of symbiotic exchange of energy, money, and time, however that looks like to you, we both appreciate that as well.
So, well, thank you, Christine J Gold.
I benefited so much also from your wisdom and all that you shared with the money wounds. That was, um, you know, a lot that I already knew, um, but then some that, as I said, that was like, oh, I haven't thought about it in that way before. So that is something for me to go back into and to dive into and to do more of that clearing work. These things are really clearing up, coming up for clearing now so that we can align more with that energy and frequency of Source-aligned abundance, I believe.
Yeah, absolutely. And you're welcome. And you sharing, being so open, and your insights. And how—
and you—
and I will— there will be timestamps after this. So you're like, well, I don't know what you're talking about, what money blocks. Well, there's 6 of them, and I will have a timestamp so you can go through them all and see which one you identify with, and then there's also the Reiki, um, the healing, the clearing meditation that I do, and then I'll timestamp, uh, for Julia and Gaia and Ascended Masters coming through as well. So pretty powerful container of an hour and a half. And we're also, as we've been working together the last couple weeks, this one has been top of mind— money blocks. Financial abundance, personally, professionally. And I know we're not the only ones, so we're in talks of doing an actual workshop in a sacred container, like a private space. So, uh, not on YouTube, that's not what I see or feel, but, um, something that's more online but offline, if that makes sense. So stay tuned for that if that's something you want. Comment and share and tell your friends, because I'm sure it's— it will be coming up in the next month or two. We'll see what our schedules are like, but either way, I'm sending everybody lots of love, and financial abundance is abound in all of us. And we have now cleared 7 lifetimes back and the work that you're doing now is going to clear 7 lifetimes forward. Isn't that amazing?
Yeah, we are the ones—
I truly believe so many of us, um, well, born in these times, but especially the ones on this path, we are the ones who are here to clear it for the, for the ancestral line.
That, that's what I think we have decided as souls to come in and do.
And it's not always the easiest of journeys as a result, but it's truly powerful and transformative what we can do for ourselves and for the ancestral lines. And then of course, every transformation and shift that we make ripples out into the collective consciousness and into humanity as a whole.
Beautifully said. Couldn't have said it better. I'm sending everybody lots of love. And I was reminded by somebody in my webinar last week of my tagline that I used when I first started: healing begins where the ego ends. We'll see you next time.
Lots of love.
Thank you so much.
