Building a Tarot Empire - Minnow Pond Tarot: Chris Reck

In this episode of the Heart‑Led Soul‑Fed podcast, host Christine J. Gold interviews Chris Reck, the founder of Minnow Pond Tarot and a YouTube creator with over 600,000 subscribers. The conversation opens with Chris’s origin story – how a family suggestion, a failed early business, and chronic eczema led him to start posting tarot videos eight years ago, eventually turning a hobby into a full‑time spiritual brand. They discuss his intuitive development (Reiki, mediumship, astrology, numerology, and synchronicities), the creation of two upcoming tarot decks, and his experimental “10,000 experiments” project. Chris shares practical business tactics: daily content routines, YouTube memberships, multiple income streams, and the importance of diversifying revenue. The hosts also explore self‑care for empaths and highly sensitive people, including diet, exercise, energy‑clearing techniques, and boundaries around numbing behaviors. Throughout, they touch on broader topics such as AI, the coming Pluto‑in‑Aquarius shift, decolonizing spiritual spaces, and the collective role of creators in co‑creating a “heaven on earth.” The episode ends with a call to action for the audience to start their own projects, embrace their magic, and join Christine’s community programs.

And I'm going to just be quiet and, and bring Chris on. So welcome, Chris, to the show. We're so excited to have you here.
Of course. Thank you for having me.
Wonderful, wonderful. So yeah, I, you know, like I said, I've been watching you for a while, probably over a year. You always manage to make me laugh. You always manage to make me go, did you just say that? Yes, he did. And, you know, I want to— I have so many questions. And please, guys, if you have questions for Chris, or for myself, let us know live or even on the replay. We're not the kind of show where we're like, yeah, ask, you know, we're not going to leave you hanging basically. So this is a community. We're here to collaborate. And I'm just going to say hi to a few people who have joined us. I know I've seen Tina before. Hi Tina. She says, Chris, he's the best.
Thank you.
Melissa's saying, yeah, hey friends. Uh, we've got Lion from Canada, right on! We got another fellow Canadian. We've got the lovely Gitte from Denmark, thank you so much for being here. And Jasmine as well, thanks guys. Please share, please, you know, do all those wonderful things because I'm sure there's something in Chris's story, um, that will resonate. I mean, that's I mean, we, we're all old souls, are we not, Chris?
Yeah, I think so. I think that if you're here now, you're probably an old soul.
And I guess, what's your, um, definition of an old soul?
Yeah, I mean, someone who's probably repeated, you know, karmic cycles multiple, multiple times, you know, here on Earth.
Yeah. And, and I know I have clients out there that said, I did not read the fine print. Yeah, where are my glasses? I didn't ask for this.
Yeah, I, I think that's common too. Like, um, you know, I think that I hear from a lot of people who are definitely old souls that they'll say, oh, this is my last time, you know, coming back.
Exactly, exactly. So maybe just tell a little bit about, like, how did you get started? Because we were talking about 2017 when I had my huge dark night of the soul, 2x4 spiritual upgrade to the fore, you know, bang, here we go.
Yeah, I mean, that's when I started. I was— it was before that. I've had the channel for like 8 years now, um, but for 3 and a half years or so before that, I was basically doing nothing, um, literally. I was sitting around in my room all day stewing, uh, because I had a successful business when I was younger and it failed. Well, I let it fail, as I always say, but, um, then, um I just did nothing for 3 years after that, except for I spent a lot of time learning, but, um, also a lot of sitting around. And so, uh, then literally one day my mom came in my room and said, hey, you like messing around with cards, so why don't you start reading cards? And I started, um, that night I put up my very first videos. You can go on the channel, they're still there to this day. So that's how I got started. Wow.
Uh, yeah, that— I think that that's amazing. And Clearly, you know, Mom has the gift. The gifts are in the family. We all have gifts, talents, and abilities, right? It's, it's really, uh, what you choose to do and following the breadcrumbs. So how did you follow the breadcrumbs? I mean, what makes— what made you go from playing with cards to say, I'm going to start a YouTube channel?
I think it, you know, it's kind of funny because, you know, I had a severe eczema on my hands for a long time too. And my mom used to say to me, that was like, you know, energy trying to come out my hands. I mean, she got me, you know, tuned to Reiki before I started tarot because she thought, you know, that the energy was trying to leave my hands and everything. And, you know, really wasn't until I started tarot that the hands went away, which is funny. But, you know, I think that it was kind of like it was never a part of the plan. I always say, even at that time, I was working on another business at the same time. That at the time I thought I wanted to work better, but obviously now I'm glad that this worked out way better than, you know, that ever could have. So, you know, it wasn't the original plan.
And, and yeah, the original plan, well, for me, is always the ego-based plan. Yes. Uh-huh. So how do we, how do we navigate that? I mean, I work a lot with my clients regarding that. How do How do you recognize? Because, you know, you'll hear different things like, it's my enemy, I must crush it. You know, your idea, philosophy on that?
Well, I think that, and especially, I mean, there's never been a time where I think this is going to be triggered in people more than ever. Like right now we're entering into a time where I think maybe it's going to get harder to get career, you know, careers, traditional careers. And so, you know, people are going to be pushed towards things that maybe You know, society, you know, society doesn't agree with, or maybe your mom doesn't agree with it, your dad doesn't agree with it. And so usually those are the things your heart is telling you to do it. Your heart is saying this is the right thing. Everything points in that direction. Everything was working in the direction of tarot when I was starting that channel. Everything worked. And then everything else on the stuff that I was fighting against, nothing worked. And I think it's— I sometimes think it's that simple, that, you know, what's meant to work is going to work so clearly and so easily. There will be obstacles that you have to overcome, of course, you know, But, you know, I think the things that we fight against, you know, they very clearly don't work.
Yeah, the more you resist, the more it persists. So unless you're a dog that likes to chase its tail, that's how I see it.
Oh yeah.
Yeah. Tina is saying, I don't think any of us did read the fine print at any time.
No, never. Of course not. We agreed to this.
That's right. We did. We did. And April saying, old soul, someone who's repeated karmic cycles multiple times. Yeah, because I didn't learn that, you know. I, I tell my clients, this is my 44th time, and they're like, how do you know? I'm like, because you just know.
You just know, right?
Hi Connor from British Columbia, so nice to see you. And everyone's just saying, you know, we're so grateful that for your mom's suggestion, Chris.
Yeah, of course.
I was saying And right now we got 11 people watching and 1 heart. I love that. All ones. All ones. I'm all about numbers. How do you feel about synchronicities, Red Cross?
Yeah, I mean, again, I love repeating numbers personally. So I always say that whenever I see repeating numbers, I might not look into it, like what exactly it means. But to me, it's always confirmation of the direction I'm going in. So I take it as confirmation for my thoughts, my, you know, whatever I'm working on.
Yeah, and, and guys, you know, everyone out there listening, watching, what synchronicity shows up for you? Is it music? Is it animals? Is it repeating numbers? Is it repeating conversations? Is it déjà vu? You know, how does it show up for you? Let us know, let us know. So I have tons of questions. So, um, how many hours do you work in a day? Because you're doing 12 Read 12 Signs, and then you do Quarterly. You do all these— you do so much.
Yeah, I mean, it's a lot. Um, you know, I, I have other— now I do have other businesses that I work on as well. So, you know, this only takes up like the first part of my day, the tarot side of things. So I record my videos like first thing in the morning, and, uh, usually that takes— I mean, it depends on how motivated I am. Uh, some days I do 4. My rule I always say is I do 4 no matter what, every single day. And then, but some days I do 8, some days I do 12. It just depends on, you know, how motivated I am. So I always do that. That takes like the first part of the day and then I work on other stuff for the rest of the day.
Amazing. 4 is my favorite number.
So there you go.
Yeah, there you go. And today is February 8th.
It is.
It comes down to an 8 day in numerology too. Wow. And all I've seen is 8s.
Wow.
So yeah, I know. Whoa.
You know, yeah, it's so lucky too.
Very lucky, very lucky. Uh, guys, you want to share your, your astrological sign? Do you guys know your sun, moon, and rising? Um, did you want to talk a little bit about that as well?
Yeah, sure. Um, about mine or about yours?
And then, you know, really what does it all mean? You know, because you talk about planets and all of that.
So I'm a Pisces sun, um, I'm an Aquarius rising, Gemini moon. And so, you know, I look at astrology differently. Um, so not a lot of it, you know, I— it's kind of like the ancient astrology is that the Sun is who you are trying to become. I look at the Moon as who we truly are, and our, uh, rising sign is kind of like our purpose. You know, traditionally it was like the, um, the head of the dragon, the thing that we're moving towards. And again, so the way I look at it is different than maybe other people, but, uh, to me, a rising sign is not really a fear to be conquered, but it's maybe something that's trying to come out of us that we need to express to the world.
Yeah, and I mean, when I first started, I was, oh, you know, oh no, it's Mercury retrograde. And, you know, now I just laugh. I'm like, oh, that's interesting. I feel like consciously because of you and because of others, you know, that are sharing their gifts talents and abilities, that we're becoming more collectively conscious, you know, about being accountable, responsible, and nothing outside of me has that kind of control. There are aspects to it to be aware of, right?
Yeah, I think that we should work with the energy. I always say Oprah, for example, she has a terrible chart, um, you know, so according to her chart, her life shouldn't be good, right? Um, but that just goes to show that she worked with the energy. She didn't allow it to— maybe consciously or unconsciously, who knows— but Um, you know, she didn't allow it to control her. So in, in some ways you could say that, you know, people always say, but my chart is terrible. I'm like, yeah, but usually that's exactly what makes you successful is because you have to overcome that energy like she did. So she's a, you know, I think she's a great example. And, you know, I always say, speaking of the retrogrades as well, that, you know, I don't allow astrology or tarot to control my life. Um, you know, to me it's like a cherry on top, right? Just like a little bit of extra assistance.
Yeah, perfect. Take what you want and leave the rest, right?
Yeah.
Thank you for sharing that. Melissa's saying that she loves the idea of agreeing to this life. Um, you know, she thinks about that, about her kids, and they agreed for me to be their mom, right? True. Um, and Jasmine's asking— oh, 10:10, there you go. That's my— those are my mom's numbers. Um, Jasmine's saying, how does one transition out of an old soul? Is that something we can do? Interesting question.
I wouldn't even know how to answer that. Um, you know, I would say, uh, I mean, I guess if you work, if you, uh, you know, are we really meant to follow our life plan or, you know, to a T? Or, you know, um, you know, I think that, like I said, it's funny that a lot of people say, oh, I'm not coming back, but I bet when you're on the other side that you want to come back. So, you know, what, what is the answer, right?
And, and transition, I, I just feel it's an evolution. Yeah, you, you learn the lesson, then you're like, okay, now I'm ready for the next, whatever that happens to be. Right, right, right, right. And a lot of people are talking about numbers. They see numbers as their signs. Tina's like, everything— numbers, animals, déjà vu, songs. Me too. Um, April is asking, do you have any new projects coming up in the future?
Well, I've lots of top secret projects, so, you know, working on a podcast like I said. Um, And I am doing— soon I'm going to be doing a 10,000 experiment experiment. So I'm going to be doing 10,000 experiments in a year. So that's going to be coming up as well.
That sounds very interesting. I'd love to hear more about that.
Yeah. I mean, 10,000 experiments is, you know, because a lot of people say like, you know, Bruce Lipton, for example, says that 95% of our lives are automatic. And so my idea for 10,000 experiments is to just, you know, it could be big things, little things. And like, you know, I always walk this way down my road. You know, I'm an experiment. Could be I walk this way instead one day. So just mixing up my day, going, you know, breaking up the routine, doing things differently, but also like doing real big experiments in business and stuff.
Yeah, yeah, exactly. And yeah, because we tend to get comfortable in our comfort and there is no growth in that.
Yeah, exactly.
The only person that loves a box are cats, and we are not cats. No, although sometimes I wonder.
Yeah, who knows.
Uh, Roxy is asking, how come you don't do personal readings, Chris?
I, I would just— it would be impossible. I mean, I could barely keep up when I had 60,000 subscribers, so now that I have, you know, well over 10 times that amount, I just— there's no way. And I would just have to, you know, I would have to charge a crazy price. And, you know, it just, it just wouldn't be possible.
Exactly. You're only one person. I mean, that's why I transitioned from one-on-one readings to groups and courses and exclusive, you know, mentorships. Like I'm working with a woman in France who in the, in the course of 4 months of working with her already has moved into her own coaching business, a burnout coach.
Nice.
Yeah, that's why I'm here, to, you know, to inspire people to just say, yeah, I'm gonna go for it. I'm just gonna go for it.
Yeah. And also burnout. It would burn me out.
Yeah, burnout. That's very important, especially when you're sensitive, intuitive, highly empathic, all of that. You have to be careful what, you know, what you're doing, where your energy is going, where it's leaking. And people are like, well, how do I know? Like, Even your family, I'm sorry to say, are energy vampires. You really have to be aware of that. You have to be. If you feel sleepy after leaving somewhere, or angry or sad, big red flags.
Yep.
Do not go. Do not, uh, pass go. Um, Melissa is saying that you really helped her flow through retrogrades. Yeah, which, which is huge. I mean, yeah. You're a very humble guy, but you— I'm sure you have no idea how many people you, you have.
It surprises me every time, so I don't— okay, yeah.
Uh, Gita is Sagittarius and an aspect she doesn't remember what in Virgo. Okay, but there, there are sites that you can go to find your, your Rising Sun and all of that. I believe astrology.com is probably the place That's where I went just to find out. As long as you know your birth time, is that—
yeah, you can get, you can get everything without your birth time except your rising sign is probably going to be wrong. Your moon could be wrong if you don't have the right time, but you can get pretty close if you don't have the time.
Perfect, perfect. Yeah, and really, um, tarot or tarot and astrology is, is confirmation of what's already happening. It's like the universe, hello, hi, remember. And well, Tina is saying she is not coming back, but I'm sure I'll get roped into it.
Of course, we all do.
Wonderful, wonderful. So let's talk, maybe shift a little bit more, like thank goodness for your mom and then the eczema in your hands with the Reiki. I'm a Reiki master as well. Um, when you really learn how with your energy and how to heal and self-healing, very huge key, uh, piece to this. Um, but your, your brother, I had mentioned even before I jumped on, I felt like you guys were twin flames.
Yeah.
Yeah. So do you want to talk a little bit more about your adventures with your brother?
Yeah. I mean, we've just been traveling for like a few years now. Um, but yeah, it's funny that you said, you said the twin flame thing. I've never thought of it like that with him, but You know, we used to be at each other's throats when we were kids. I mean, you know, beating the crap out of each other, you know, everything you could possibly imagine. But now we're like best friends. You know, he still lives with me at, you know, 30-whatever years old he is. So I must be doing something right. But yeah, we've been just adventuring, going on adventures, getting drones stuck in trees, which I had an allergic reaction, by the way, another eczema flare-up because of that recently. So yeah, just having a lot of fun. And yeah, I do think like, you know, I always say people always ask me about twin flames and things. And I always say that, you know, family is probably like your soulmate, twin flame, whatever.
They absolutely are. I mean, I know in this lifetime I learned about worth more than anything, and how we give our power away all the time, knowingly or unknowingly.
And yeah, usually those people trigger us. Yeah, those people that trigger us the most, you know, point point those things out. So totally agree. Yeah, there was a little glitch.
Oh God, it's all good. Yeah, we talked about that already.
Yep.
Uh, so as I was preparing, I heard the song Empire Strikes Back. You know, when Darth Vader— is there any connection with you in that, with Star Wars?
I mean, I've watched— I'm not a big Star Wars person, but you know, I am, I am ready to take over. I'm ready to take over the universe. So I mean, you know, that could be, uh, that could be the connection. I'm about— like I said, I'm making some big moves here this year. So, um, you know, hopefully I'll take that as good confirmation.
Yeah. And I, I— and, you know, when I came, the title just came to me, Building a Tarot Empire. And that's how I, how I see it. I mean, you have, uh, a course called Chris in a Box, and I'm like, what the heck is that? But really, you know, that's an amazing idea because people always ask me, you know, what's in your spiritual toolkit? How do you heal? How do you develop your intuition, la la la la la. So you just said, here you go.
Yeah, exactly.
Perfect, perfect. Um, so, oh yeah, in one of your videos, it was actually for Capricorn, um, last week, you were— I don't know, you're talking about something and then your eyes went off and you go, and that's what happens when I get those downloads. And I do the same thing, my eyes go— do you want to talk about that and how people know it's their intuition versus something else?
Yeah, I mean, I've just learned to zone out and, you know, just allow things to come through. I always say, you know, I call it spewing, basically. I, because I just channel from source, I just get out of the way. Half the time I don't even know what's coming out of my mouth. So I just, just say I move out of the way. If I'm staring at this wall right here, usually that's a good spot to look at that totally allows me to like zone out and just, you know, kind of get out of my own head.
Yeah, and, and that's just it. Um, as I learned, you know, to develop mediumship with my mentor, she said that, you know, we had to go through steps and clearings and meditation. And Reiki is such a big part of it because if you're bringing in all the stuff from the outside world and then you're going to go do a reading, what do you— where do you think it's coming from, right?
Exactly.
Yeah, yeah, outside sources. Oh, you know, judgment, all of that. It's not coming from love. It's not coming from, you know, being in service. It's not coming from— and sometimes when you get messages, you're— I'm like, oh, do I have to say that? But yes, you do. As hard as it is, you do, because it's not yours to keep, right? Right. And after readings and, and messages or what have you, I'll have clients that go, remember so-and-so, or this happened during the reading. I'm like, nope. It is wiped clean from my memory because of, you know, you set the table for spirit and then you clear the table. I guess that's, that's how I look at it.
Yeah, I only remember readings like while I'm doing the next reading for the sign, you know, so I'm in the same, the same energy or whatever, in that zone.
Get it? Yeah. Uh, Melissa is saying, I did the legal pad challenge. In March of last year, I quit my career of 25 years.
Yay!
Yeah, opened the metaphysical shop. It's the start of my tarot services for my community.
Congratulations! I love it.
Yeah, yeah, me too. I love that stepping into your, into your purpose, into who you truly are, what lights you up, your passion. Yeah, and there's a big quit. I think it was last year.
Big quit.
Yeah. Yeah, everyone's just congratulating her on that. And Connor has a question for you: have you ever designed your own tarot deck before? If so, what was the process like and what inspired its creation and theme?
Um, well, actually, yes. And, um, so, well, I'll, I'll be talking about that soon, but, um, I'm working with, um, one— well, two people actually, so two different decks, and, um, they're both the original artists, um but they kind of both have, uh, taken my readings as, you know, inspiration for, um, the card design. So one, um, you know, again, one is very early, it's not coming out anytime soon, um, and, and that's gonna be kind of around the things that I say for the cards, so it's gonna have different, uh, imagery. The other one that, uh, should be coming out soon-ish is, um, kind of, uh, I will just say I don't want to tease it too early, but it's light. It uses light. It's light designed, let's put it that way.
I love that. And I can see there's some humor in there, but I, for some reason, I see, you know, one is more— I want to say dark and light, if that makes sense.
That, I mean, that was insanely accurate what you just said. So, hmm, yes, absolutely.
I am—
yeah, that one is, you know, simple. I prefer simple. Um, you know, simple decks. And that one is simple, which is totally me, um, for reading, just keeping it simple. So, uh, that one I'm definitely very excited about.
Love it, love it. Thanks for the question, Connor. Somehow, yeah, he knew as well. And I'm designing an oracle deck as well. I'm just waiting for the— I'm doing up the book and I'm pretty much done. So I love this. This is amazing. Tina is just saying she can relate to your eczema. She used to get stress hives all over her body until she started working with energy.
Yep, just happened to me, so I totally get it.
And April is asking, what are you reading now? I love reading.
So what are you— oh man, where's—
well, you know, what are you not reading? But maybe that's right now.
Right now I am reading Joe Dispenza, and I talked about him earlier because, you know, I had this breakout. My brother flew a drone in a tree. Apparently I'm allergic to the tree. I had this crazy breakout, um, which I'm super sensitive to everything in the first place. But, um, that happened and I thought about what I was thinking about when the breakout happened and I was like, oh, you know, I need to get out of my own head. I need to— so, um, Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself is what I actually started it this morning because I was like, I need to break out of this, uh, routine or this cycle or whatever.
Yeah. Um, it's almost like the— well, they can call it the placebo effect as well. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, your mind, like I always say, your belief systems are BS.
Yeah, absolutely. I'm a big fan of brainwashing yourself, I call it.
And our— it has been proven by neuroscience, it's taken a very long time for them to catch up what Eastern philosophy already knew, uh, that, you know, your, your brain is a computer. Yeah, you can uninstall, clear the viruses out. Whatever they are, and reinstall, reload.
Totally agree.
Oh gosh, just trying to keep up with all the comments here. Um, yeah, uh, Tina's saying Pinky and the Brain, that's what popped in when you said you're ready to take over the universe. I remember that show.
I do too. Yeah, I love that show when I was a kid.
What did you like watching? A lot of, uh, cartoons or—
Nope, I was in a weird—
were you super nerdy?
Super nerdy, weird. I was very weird. I was into like bugs, um, fish. I'm obsessed with fish, obviously. Um, so I would watch stuff like surgery shows when I was a kid. I wanted to be a doctor when I was younger, so, you know, I would watch, um, Life Trauma, Life in the ER. That was like my favorite show. Um, so even when I had no imagination when I was little, um, I always say like I stopped believing in Santa when I was like 2 years old, so Um, I had zero imagination, zero, zero interest in cartoons or any of that stuff. Wow.
And boy, did that ever transition to now. I mean, yeah, I mean, there's a—
well, I would say that, you know, I'm a Black Moon Lilith in Leo in astrology, which Black Moon Lilith in Leo is like having to learn to, um, be a kid, basically having to learn how to act, how to play, how to play pretend, um, you know, all those things. So, you know, once I learned that, then I start— I started loosening up a little bit.
Love that. Yeah, I, I feel— well, I was the oldest, so I took the caregiving role, and then it rolled into perfectionism. But I remember as a kid, my sister and I had a tape recorder and we recorded our own show. So when you mentioned Oprah, I felt like we were, you know, having the Oprah Show. Yeah, in the mid-'80s. It's, it's those kind of things that when you think back on, you're like, oh yeah. Yeah, now it may, you know, it all has come full circle.
Yeah, absolutely.
So, you know, bless your heart for being super nerdy. And, and yeah, I know, right? And how many tattoos do you have?
I just have, uh, 2 right on my arm.
Okay, so yeah, on your arm, any significance?
Uh, the, the koi, because Pisces, and I, I just, I'm obsessed with fish. Uh, octopus is my favorite animal, so Aww. Yeah, I had to get an octopus.
I remember that Netflix documentary. What was it called with the octopus?
My Teacher the Octopus.
Yes. Oh my God. Get the Kleenex if you haven't watched that. Oh my goodness.
Yeah. Very good documentary.
And how super smart they are.
Very smart.
Beautiful and intuitive.
Probably aliens. Maybe.
So. Yeah, that would make sense. And what, speaking of aliens, what's your thoughts about aliens and UFOs and all that?
Well, yeah, I totally believe, of course. Again, that was the one, imagine imaginary thing. We're not imaginary. I'm, you know, since I was a kid, I loved Bigfoot. Still do. Uh, UFOs, aliens, totally believe. So yeah, I mean, the universe is so enormous. How could, you know, how is it possible that there aren't?
Yeah. And to think that we're the only living species is just ignorant.
Yep.
And totally ego-based, clearly. And lots of things are coming to the surface because everything's being unearthed. You can't hide things anymore.
You can't hide it anymore.
No, we can't. Yep.
Yeah, I've, I mean, I've been saying that if it's ever— if it's going to come out, it's going to come out, you know, it should be— I mean, it is out, let's be honest. But I mean, it'll be out over the next, you know, Pluto in Aquarius, 20 years, the next 20 years. To me, that's totally a Pluto in Aquarius type of thing.
Yeah, and I've been talking a lot about the Golden Age of Aquarius. Did you want to talk a little bit more about that and Pluto in Aquarius?
I mean, I have a lot of very strong opinions about Pluto and Pluto in Aquarius because, you know, everybody is talking about it being the collective, which I totally agree with. You know, by the way. But I like to remind people that it's also, you know, you can't look at astrology as like this side or that side, you know, it's both. So I think that, um, you know, I call them— I, you know, my main point of Pluto in Aquarius is that I think a lot of the solutions are going to come from us, like people, us people, not governments and things like that. And I call them third place solutions. So I keep telling people, if you have crazy ideas, I don't care like what it's about, I don't care what you think the problem is that it'll solve, I would put those ideas out there because If there was ever a time where your crazy idea, you know, I use the example of UFOs the other day. I was like, if there was an example, everybody's like, oh, we need to get rid of gas cars. The gas people are like, no, we need gas cars. And then, but what if there's something better? What if there's something that no one has thought of that just, um, doesn't even exist because you, because you haven't thought about it yet, you know? So I keep telling people, if you have a crazy idea of running, create some sort of car that runs off of, you know, brainwaves or whatever, create do it because now is the time.
Yeah, now is the time. And because we're all, we're all shifting into that 5D, um, it's collective. And you know, government, religion, and even science, you don't— those are not authorities, right? We have always been the authority, so start acting like it.
Yep.
Uh, yeah, Tina's saying, I need some Chris decks. There you go.
Soon, soon.
You're probably gonna have like a huge waiting list. I can just see it, like the floodgates opening. Uh, Melissa is asking, do you recommend subscriptions on YouTube as a layer of income?
I would say, um, if you put the work into it, I think it's a good idea. Like, if I'm— Melissa, I'm assuming you're talking about having a doing the membership thing on YouTube. I would say that if you deliver something, you know, extra above and beyond, I think it would work really well for you. But, um, if you don't, then I don't think a lot of people do it.
Yeah. And, and realize it is, you know, you are really, you're, you have a community to serve once you do that. Yeah. Yeah.
Right. So, which is great.
I mean, yeah. Absolutely. Um, we're all here creating, you know, a legacy. And, um, is, is YouTube your only stream of income or are you creating multiple streams?
Clearly. Yeah, I have.
Yeah.
And I have other businesses, other ideas, other things that are, you know, that I work on in the background. I wouldn't, I wouldn't feel— I'm, I mean, I'm the type of person I wouldn't feel comfortable. It would stress me out if I only had, um, just YouTube. So no.
There you go, guys. You got to have multiple streams of income. You got to make money while you're sleeping.
Absolutely.
That's huge. And you know, you're not just building it so you're, you know, making money. Money is the byproduct.
Yeah.
Of, you know, what you love to do. So go find it. And if you don't know, well, here you are. Yep. Right there. There's a reason. There's a reason. Uh, Tina is saying we were the same child, Chris. We were talking about bugs, probably books and aliens, paranormal, you know, like attracts like, like a moth to a flame, right?
Yeah.
So how did you— I've seen some of your early videos, and boy, you're, you're just, you're just a kid. Do you ever go back and watch them? How do you feel about that?
Um, well, now I don't know what happened to YouTube, but they changed it, so I can't, I can't sort by oldest any longer, or I can't figure out how to do it, so I don't. But Um, every once in a while someone will comment on like one of those old— the oldest ones. So I do— sometimes I will go back and I will watch them when someone— if like a comment pops up so that I can find it on the channel. Um, so yeah, sometimes.
Yeah, they have changed it. I, I sometimes when I go looking for a video, I'm like, how come I can't find it?
Yeah, yeah, weird.
That's so weird. Yeah. And so with everything that you're doing Um, how important is your, your physical health? How do you take care of yourself? How do you keep your, your, you know, because we are a body, right? First and foremost, I mean, we are spiritual beings, but how do you take care of that avatar?
Yeah, I mean, I'm about to work out after this with my brother. So, you know, we have a gym here and I work out, of course. Now, um, before, I was not taking care of myself. I mean, if you go back and you, you can see that I've lost weight now since then, so which is good. But congrats. Um, yeah, thank you. But, um, you know, other than that, I'm like, like I said, I'm super sensitive, so I have to be super careful with, um, diet, uh, pretty much everything. So I can't— I don't eat a lot of junk food in the first place. Well, now I don't eat any. So, um, you know, I avoid that. I quit drinking a while ago, so I was never a big drinker. Yeah, I was never a big drinker, but, you know, it was just like, um, it just started making me even like I said, drinking once a week, I would feel it. So I was like, no, I'm cutting this out. So no more drinking, no more, no more none of that, no sugar.
I'm glad I asked that because I held a— I stopped drinking in November and then I did a dry January and now we're continuing it into February. Eckhart Tolle was talking, somebody asked him a question about alcohol and spirituality. Like it does, it Anything that numbs you suppresses your intuitive self.
Yeah, my, uh, you know, speaking of my brother, it's funny they brought him up. We, at the beginning of the year, we said no more numbing behaviors, um, so no, nothing that would be an escape, period, for this year. So I did a video on my other channel about, uh, Jerry Seinfeld. He talks about, uh, having a calendar where you put X's on it, um, you know, and you never break the chain. So yeah, no numbing behaviors until Well, no numbing behaviors, but I'm gonna, I'm gonna go as long as I can, you know.
Exactly. Um, and you know, I did a little test when you're talking like 10,000 experiments. I had, you know, I had, uh, one drink, I think it was last week, and right away I'm like, oh, didn't like that feeling. No, no. Okay, confirmation. Thank you. I'm out of here. So, and I used to smoke for, you know, many years. I changed my whole life. My whole life is—
yeah, yeah.
As you're ascending and healing and getting lighter, you no longer— those things vibrate out, and that includes people, places, things.
Yeah, yeah.
And I think I'm so glad that you guys are working together. That's amazing.
Yeah, and that helps, right, having a person. But, you know, I always say that, you know, I think if you do do this, um you know, when you start leaving people, that is almost a test, right? Is that, you know, you might be triggered to go back to the behavior. And so I always say, like, push past that. And really it only sucks for like 10 days. You know, it's like if you stop talking to someone who's always drinking, maybe you miss them for like, you know, 10 days. But after that, you know, get to 20 days, it's like easier. It's easier every like 10 days, I find.
Yeah. Especially when, you know, you get up in the morning and you're like, this is amazing. I have so much energy. Let's go.
Like, I Yeah, I mean, I'm in a space where I only allow positive snowballs now. So I always say, like, you know, those people that are negative snowballs, they just drag you down. You want the people that, you know, once you stop hanging out with them, then you're going to find new people that make you feel so much better. Then, you know, that positive momentum really is, you know, that's what changed my life.
So I'm all about it. It's your circle. You want people around you that are smarter. All of that. Yeah. And get the notepad if you're jealous.
Yep.
Uh-uh. Start taking notes because those are the people that you aspire to be.
Of course.
I— that's— yeah. And, and sneaky little ego, just when you think you've— it— oh, we're gonna test you. Okay, here we go. Uh, Jasmine is, uh, talking about synchronicity, hearing us talk about our brains being computers. There seems to be a lot of talk about AI right now and technology is advancing so fast. And of course, I think of Atlantis. What are your thoughts on AI?
Well, my thought, you know, I think AI, number one, here's the thing, is that with Pluto in Aquarius, you're gonna have to learn to work with it, um, and you have to use it, but it should be like a layer on your life is how I look at it. Um, I think that it's nowhere— I've been messing around with it for weeks, I mean, for a year almost, and it's nowhere near as good as people think it is. Um, number one, you know, they say, uh, garbage in, garbage out, right? So it's kind of like I'm sure you all remember using a calculator in school. It's like if you put the wrong information in, you're not going to get very good information out. So it's not really like— I don't think it's anywhere near— and could we see huge advancements? Absolutely. But there's like a couple of things I think about that people don't think about. Number one is that you have to start— like, one thing I'm very focused on is documenting my experiences. You know, everybody has their own perspective, and if you don't You know, you have to document your experience because that's one thing that a computer does not have is your own experience. And then on top of that, AI is, and I think always will be, really bad at putting two good ideas together, um, you know, two different ideas that could be good ideas together. And so, you know, it— this is going to be part of my other channel. I plan on talking a lot about this because I think it's super important. And also, if you want to have a job, I would like You know, I would learn how to, um, just mix ideas, try different things and, uh, gain more experiences.
Yeah, because if you're not, there's no such thing as, you know, there's failure, but that means you did something.
Yeah, absolutely.
And I, oh, I can't do that. I'm too old. I'm not worthy. Whatever that is. Stop. Stop that.
Yeah, absolutely.
Stop that. It no longer resonates in this collective consciousness. Roxy is talking. I mean, you have so many Chrisisms here. I, I should have— I wish I could have compiled a video of, hey, hey Capricorn, hey Gemini. Yeah, let's get right to it. But she says, I love when Chris is doing a reading and he says, I'm not supposed to say balls, but you need to have balls to do so. And so, yeah, yeah, I think there was a clip, a short I seen about Hey, only the good-looking people watch me.
Yeah, right, right. I said— that's right, I said only attractive people watch Mino Pontero.
Proven fact. Vogue, come on everybody. Hi V, thank you for joining us. Uh, Melissa says I'm already tired, so check not doing subs, LOL. Bangs, gavel.
Okay, yeah, and that's the thing, you know, I wouldn't force yourself to do anything, especially also like I said, we said earlier, heart-based um, you know, following your heart at this time. If something— like, people, there's so many experts nowadays that are like, oh, you have to do this for your business, but if you don't want to do it, don't do it. There's plenty of things you can do that will work just great for you.
That's right. And that's part of, you know, what I teach my clients as well. If they want to start a business, I show them the fast track and not the Christine J Gold coming up the mountain, coming down in the valley, in the desert for 40 days and nights and years. Uh, yeah. I want people to work, you know, smarter, not harder.
Absolutely.
And that's part of AI as well. Anything that you're afraid of, you— that means you gotta go for it. Yeah. Yeah. All right, Tina is talking about alcohol. It was never a lot, but just been in her awareness since beginning of December. Yeah, a lot of people. Yeah, I'm seeing it more and more.
It doesn't really surprise me.
Yeah, it doesn't. Hi Lola, nice to see you. Melissa is asking, how do you block out others' nervous energies?
Oh, I mean, that's like a big one for me, um, too, because I feel everything. And you know, I would say that I use the mirror technique. So, um, you know, every single day I picture myself in a mirror and like things bouncing off of me. So, um, whenever I'm in those moments, I think the easiest thing to do though is say, is this mine? You know, every anytime I feel something, 99% of the time it's not even my own feelings. You know, it's something else. So just calling it out, saying, is this mine? That's enough. I don't even have to do anything else.
Yeah, no, that, that's great. I, I call it grounding technique. Same thing. I ask my collective to come in every morning. Show me what to do. Show me what to say. Show me what not to do and what not to say. And then big mirrors all around.
Yep.
Reflecting, reflecting, reflecting. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Um, oh, okay, Lola. I— Lola, we're not doing, um, any readings here, but thank you so much. And of course, I'm sure everybody asks you this. I have a mentor who would wear pretty much— he— I think he had 7 outfits and he'd wear them every, every day. And people always ask him, why you always wear the same thing? So why is it always the black shirts?
Uh, well, really, I mean, I wish I had a better story about this, but really the story is, is that one time, one day, one day I wore a black shirt two days in a row. This was years ago on the channel. And so one day somebody says you— that I wore a black shirt every single day. So as a joke, I started wearing a black shirt every single day because I didn't. Before that, I wore, I wore all different shirts. So it's just a joke that has gone too far. I love it. Now it's become, now it's become my uniform. So, you know, that's, that's what happened.
And I have friends that work with color energy, and black actually repels negativity.
And that too, repels sells negative energy, right? Yay! Yep.
All right. And yes, thank you, Tina, dropping a like on this video makes us instantly more attractive, right?
There are actions you can take to, to help.
Yes, because there are other people, you know, that need to hear Chris's message, see him, you know, get it, get the vibe out. Um, yeah, April is talking about your class that you have a whole section on energy. And she highly recommends it.
Thank you, April.
Yeah, energy is everything. The— when I started my podcast 4 years ago, it was called The Power of Healing Your Energy.
Oh, there you go.
And since I did that, I'm shifting obviously to Heart-Led Soul-Fed because that's really what it's about.
And I think it's a great name. I love it.
Thank you. Thank you. It's— I always ask, how may I serve? So, how may we serve you all that are here today or listening? Please comment below. Maybe there's somebody out there that you could connect with. I mean, this is about community. This is about collaboration, co-creation. This is huge. We always tend to think that, well, I'm creating this by myself.
No.
You want to talk about that?
Yeah, I always say, like, if you're afraid to work with people, but that you should still put something out in the world, even if you have, like, something nice to say that you put on YouTube, a YouTube video about something you learned, creating a piece of art— by doing, by putting that out into the world, you're co-creating because you're benefiting somebody. Somebody will benefit, even if it's only one person. Um, you know, that's all you need.
Yeah, that's right. So I'm, I'm talking to you, Connor. I'm talking to April, to whoever. Just get out. Just do it. Don't be like— when I started my journey, I was like, oh, that person's a— ooh, a guru, you know, like above me. But guess what? We're all gurus now. Oh yeah, we all have something to share and to teach, and we're all making our way home. And I truly believe, even though this is a 3D world, that heaven is on earth. It is all in perception.
Yep. Yeah, I think it's our job to create heaven on earth if we haven't already. Yeah, if you feel that's not true.
And I love throwing God out there. Just to see what happens. And there's still some, some trauma attached to religious, you know, a lot of that. How, how does that come up for you?
Um, I don't know. Um, I went to— I was— I wasn't raised religious or anything. We went to church like a few times that I can remember, I think. And then I went to Catholic school for a year. Um, so how'd that go? Um, not— well, I, I got— I couldn't go back because I failed religion. The, the religion class twice. Um, so that tells you how much I cared about it. Um, yeah, I mean, I kind of go back and forth. I see the benefits of— like, I see the benefits, some of the benefits, I should say, of organized religion. I think— I don't remember who says it, but they said, you know, everybody criticizes religious people and says, oh, they're only good on Sunday, right? But it's like, okay, but what if you're not good for 7 days a week and they're good for 1 day a week? Who's better? And so it's like, I see some of the benefits, but I also see some of the the trauma, the brainwashing, and the, the stories that goes on, you know. So I kind of look at it from both sides.
Yeah, and God has no religion.
Yeah, right, exactly. I think, you know, I think we have to remember that. I think if you— maybe, maybe it would be better to just live the, the good moral principles of whatever you believe instead of, you know, doing the bad stuff.
That's right. So, and then there's spiritual bypassing. Oh, I'm so spiritual, but then I yell and scream at drivers when I'm driving.
Yep. Yeah. Oh yeah.
Whoops. Oops. And please don't beat yourself up. My mentor taught me oops. So if you make a mistake, you catch yourself slipping, you have a negative thought or judgment, oops. Hahaha. How can you laugh that outside of your existence? Because we need to laugh more. Life is not that serious, really. Um, oh my God, I love Chris. Oh my God, me too. No, she sends all your readings to all my friends. Of course, you hear that a lot. Uh, Roxy is asking, how can I cut energy cords?
Um, you know, I am not like an expert on, um, like cord cutting or anything like that. So, um, you know, I'm sure there are plenty of, um, like things that you can do. Um, plenty of— I think they're like meditations on YouTube, I'm sure. Um, I have one like that.
I have a practice. Yeah, it's so important. It's really— it— if you just go to your heart, close your, your eyes, envision the person or persons in front of you and ask for the cords to be cut and sending the energy back in love and light and sending it back. It's not mine.
Right.
And you can do it multiple times a day if that's what it takes.
Yeah, of course.
Yeah, I, I understand. I would follow everything to a T. And as you're learning and upgrading, you keep what really works for you, and then you're like, oh, I tried that, that's good. Yeah, but I feel we're always in beginner's mind. Yes.
Yeah, always, always learning.
Mm-hmm. Always learning. So what's— what is one thing that you want to learn that you have not?
Oh my God, so much.
So what's on your radar?
I mean, so many things I want, like, you know, I think that, you know, one thing that I always work on is detaching from outcomes. You know, I Even, even now. Yeah, expectations. Even now, even at— even though I've done this a million times in my head, anytime I start something new or I want to start a new project, I'm always like jumping to the end thinking of these certain expectations. But, um, you know, again, thinking back to the tarot story, it's like, you know, I never would have known that it would have led in this direction. So I'm like trying to stay more open to that.
Yeah, open to everything and attached to nothing, right? Yay, love it. I, I— yeah, Wayne Dyer, he's my spiritual— right, godfather.
Yeah, one of my favorite quotes of all time is, when you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change. So, you know, he is one of my favorites.
Perception. Yeah, love it, love it. All right, I always ask my guests these two questions. How can we as a collective energy help make your dreams come true?
Ooh, just like and subscribe, right? Or just, just watch. And yeah, I would just say, you know, one thing, you know, I try to get people to, you know, make their own dent in the universe. So I think, you know, I always tell people I fell on my head when I was 10 years old. After that, you know, I had to read, I had to learn, like learning for me, I have to read books over like a lot more times than most people. So if I can do it, you can do it. And I would say just get started on something. Today, something that you've always wanted to start.
Yeah. And you, you know, you may think you have a disability of some kind, but it's absolutely not, right? It's an, it's an ability.
Of course.
It just has to be tweaked.
Yep.
Just, just like ADD, ADHD, autism, they're all on that spectrum. That could be a whole nother show to talk about.
Yeah, absolutely.
And I believe you already answered this in the form, but but maybe it's changed. How does magic feel to you?
Yeah, I think it's the— just the ability to, you know, reinvent yourself, I would say, in life. Um, you know, I don't remember what I put in the form. I do think it changed, right? But, um, you know, I would say that I always think of the Magician when I think of magic, and he has a snake wrapped around his waist, which is— it just represents reinvention. So, you know, being able to change— so many people are stuck like, oh, this is my career, this is, you know, my, my relationship looks like this. But it's like, what if your story can be different than what you thought?
Yeah, because you can change your thoughts at any time.
Anytime. Yep.
Anytime. And, you know, your, your, your beliefs determine your thoughts, and your thoughts determine how you feel, and how you feel, you know, determines how you behave, and how you behave determines your action. And, and really what you take action determines your results.
Yeah, right.
I know I have lots of ideas, and whether I take action on them Is another thing. Are you like me? You have so many ideas, you don't know where to start?
Too many ideas.
So how do you decide what you go for?
So over the last year, I've been working on building a second brain. I mean, it's super nerdy as well, but, um, and I'm not even that— like, you can get super technical with this, but I use just a simple note-taking app, Evernote, and you capture your information in there. There's a whole course on it and everything. There's actually a book as well. By Diego Forte, and he kind of looks like Elon Musk. And he— so he has the second brain. I started building that very simple version. I don't go crazy like he does. I have a very simple version of that. So that's where I capture all my ideas. And then now, nowadays, I have a rule that I only work on one new thing per quarter because I used to like try to do 19 things per year and I would get zero things done. So by working on one thing per quarter, it's like maybe 3 of the things don't work per year, but the one thing that does work, I got one thing done. So it's like one big project per quarter.
Yeah. And it's not like the big, you know, accomplishment. It's the little small steps too that create big changes.
Yeah.
Yeah. We got to stop Instagramming everything.
Right. Yeah.
And just be present and live in the now. Yeah, and, and, you know, that's amazing. You mentioned Elon Musk. He's a young soul. That could be another show too.
That could be.
I think of him and Jeff, and, you know, I think of all those billionaires. That is the mass of— that's hoarding 101. Yeah.
Yeah, it could be a whole other thing, right?
Untitled Tarot is asking, what's your opinion on the importance of decolonizing spiritual spaces and ideologies?
Um, I don't know if I have an opinion on that, and I don't even know. Um, yeah, I would say no opinion, right?
Yeah, there you go. Yeah, I was, I was looking at that and I'm like, hmm, wildfire.
Yeah, I don't know.
Yeah, you know what I mean by that, right?
Yes, I do.
Okay, thank you for that. See, we are so connected. Yes, I had said you're a brother from another mother.
Yeah, exactly.
Actually, I was— I had a— I would have had a younger brother, and I thought about that today. Um, we— my mom lost him when he was about 5 months old, and I always wanted a brother. Yeah, I have 2 younger sisters. I was like, no. Anyway, but I, I just— and my name is Christine, but I felt like that would have been his name because they were saying Chris or Christine. So I'm this is— anyways, it's come full circle. Uh, Gitte is just saying let go and let God.
Of course.
All right, is there anything else you would like to share with us before we say goodbye? And I know this won't be our last show, I just—
no, of course not. Um, I would be happy to come back. And, um, yeah, I would just say, you know, again, I really have been trying to get people to embrace their crazy ideas. Um, you know, I was on another show a while ago where we talked about how it's almost like Everybody, you know, I was talking about how everybody's like waiting to get into something, you know, it's like we're all waiting for permission, all waiting to be told like, okay, go start this thing that you want to start. And I keep telling people like, nobody's going to save us. We have to give permission to ourselves to just get started. So that's like my mission right now. And that's what, that's what I will say.
Yeah, I have the same burning. I'm like, just unleash your purpose, your magic. Let's go. Who are you waiting for? You've been held back for way too long. You're worthy. You matter. You have purpose. And now it's time.
Yeah.
And you have Chris. I mean, come on. You have no excuse. You have no excuse.
There's so many—
go ahead.
No, I was just gonna say there's so many good things. Like, I try to tell people, I know that the outside world looks crazy, but there's so many good things conspiring for us. Um, you know, it's like you want to take advantage of this. So, you know, get going.
Yeah, you do. And it's an illusion. And like Dolores Cannon says, you are the writer, director, playwright, costumer of this movie.
Love Dolores.
All right. Yeah, me too. Me too. I know we have a lot of, a lot of similarities. All right, well, you guys, you have to follow Chris. Exactly.
