Hey everyone, it is day 3 of our 7-day prayer challenge, and even though I have been on layovers and multiple flights leaving Ecuador, um, almost not getting out of Ecuador, and I've been up— well, I've had maybe about 4 hours sleep here and there on the airplane and in a chair and stuff like that. Uh, 24 hours, 30 hours I've been awake. No makeup, don't care. Um, anyways, it's really taught me a lot about being patient, if anything. So I am in Mexico City. Say hello, let me know where you're from and if you're following along. And it is also the summer solstice as well. And if you're not familiar with Mexico City, there's 50 million people that live here, and this airport has 3 terminals. It's, it's crazy. It's— I can't believe how big it is. Anyways, um, so what does A stand for? We, we know that prayer was The P was practice and the R was reaffirming, rinsing, repeating, and now we're affirming. And I just want to get my little notebook out because, you know, my brain is pretty frazzled. But our weekly meeting that we have, I thought I'd just go through this because I'm like, okay, my brain is fried. So maybe you can tell me what prayer means to you, if you're practicing it. What's, uh, you know, one word that could sum up your day today? Uh, for me, frustration. Absolute frustration. And that was because I was tired. I was, you know, hangry a lot of times. I mean, come on, I'm not the only one that flies, and it can be stressful. The destination's wonderful, but everything in between can be quite stressful. So, and what prayer requests do you have? Do you have a prayer request for yourself or someone you know? And every now and then— not every now and then, I should say, I swear, every 2 minutes— there's an announcement on the overhead. I think the funniest one is Do not pack weapons. If you do, you will go to jail. Good travel. And that's how they end the recording. So it's pretty funny. Anyways, yes, and she's saying, please wear face masks, wash your hands, stay safe, all that good stuff. So really, I want you to light a candle and maybe meditate on this a little bit. And really, what's the topic? What— why do we affirm things? Why are there affirmations? Why are there mantras? Why are there decrees? Because you're rewiring anything that you don't want to carry anymore, and you're affirming everything that you want to bring into your life that is already you. So just think about that. Let me know if you have any questions, any suggestions. And we've got a new moon coming up here in Cancer as well, which is my youngest. That's his sign. His birthday is actually July 1st, Canada Day. So that's going to be exciting. And I can't believe he's going to be 24. Where does the time go? Where does the time go? So how can you confirm that everything's happening for you, not to you. Which, you know what, I'm reminded that I've had moments today where I was just ready to lose it. And I think I did lose it at one point, but, um, and then I finally decided I'm gonna go and sit down and eat somewhere instead of just running and eating wherever. And the waiter right away grabs my luggage and, you know, pulls it for me. It was fantastic. So I really, really enjoyed that. That really perked me up. So really affirm, find the little things that make you happy, find the things that bring you joy, and don't really worry about what anybody else is doing because you can see there's so many people here. And what are you being distracted by? All the stuff in the background. So I'll just show you a little bit around. Oh gosh, look at me blocking the camera. Um, just a little bit around the airport here, um, if it'll let me. But it is a very big airport. What I really wanted to show you was this Mac wall. Isn't that amazing? I wanted that to be my background. So anyways, I wasn't going to sit on the floor. And I'm not sure why this guy behind me has a coat over his head, but anyway, it's like, you know, those videos of people at Walmart. Well, there, I think there, I'm sure there's one, um, for people at the airport. Anyways, I know there's a lot of people that don't like to fly. Um, I used to get really, really nervous, and now I guess I'm used to it. So that's the same thing with prayer. You can be nervous. Oh, I don't know if I'm doing this right. I don't know what to say. Um, I can't stop my mind, you know, I can't stop my thoughts. Well, you really can't stop them. It's a practice in seeing your thoughts, affirming your thoughts, stepping into your truth, and finally starting to heal yourself. So Ah, yeah, I really, really hope you're enjoying your solstice, your summer. Let me know where you're going. I know I've seen a few friends at the beach already, which is amazing. So yeah, share them below with me. And, uh, I think I'm gonna make this short and sweet today because there's so much going on. But I committed to do the 7 days. I know you're committed as well, so I'm sending you all lots of love and take care, and we'll see you tomorrow.
