Hello, beautiful souls. Welcome, welcome, come on in. Are you ready to live in the flow, be abundant, and have a joyful life? But the truth is, and if you're really, really going to be honest with yourself. Maybe, and obviously, you now want to overcome that. So you might be having a lot of resistance to the very thing you want. And the very thing that I teach is intuition, how to develop it, how to nurture it. How to accelerate it, how to walk in the flow of the know. Like, you know that you know that you know, instead of second-guessing yourself. And I'm Christine J Gold, and this week we're going to talk about resistance to inner guidance, um, your abundant abilities and the power to create. So, hi! If you're here, I know that there were a few people that were really looking forward to this and had marked it on their calendar. And if that's you, say hello, come on in, let me know if you're seeing this, if you're hearing me. All of that is relevant, and I always want to make sure because sometimes when you're live things, things go sideways and you just gotta go with it. You just gotta flow with it. You just gotta lean back, as I, as I would always say. And what do I mean by, you know, your intuition is blocked? Meaning you're second-guessing yourself. Is there anybody here that does that? I mean, my goodness, I've done it, especially when we're in a a negative mindset, or we're maybe going through a dark night of the soul, or maybe we're in chaos, or maybe we're in complete trauma. Maybe we're— this is also seen as a protective mechanism, meaning you were at a— you were a child at some point, right? Clearly. And you are already— you were born into this world intuitive. We all are. You all have gifts. You all have talents. You all have abilities. And at some point in your life, and most likely in your childhood, it was shut down because you were not seen, you were not heard, you were told to be quiet, you were, you were made fun of, you were bullied, your family was clearly living in fear. And I will say this, that children and animals especially, they have more wisdom and can see and hear and feel and know things before the adults do. They're just not sure what it is. However, they're willing to play in that realm. Now that brings up another piece of this, inner child. There's a lot of people, uh, and this is part of some of the, the mentorship and the coursework that I do, is the inner child. Because again, you're— you were disconnected at some point and you're living from your protection systems, and that is completely fine and that's normal. But at some point, you know that you cannot sustain that type of energy, that you're blocking yourself. So what do I mean by intuition resistance? I mean, huh, you're, or you're pushing against something. Just see it as a door you're pushing, and the door keeps— it's not opening. Again, I've said before, that's not your door. You're being— you know, God's redirection is protection. You're being guided to something else. I'm talking more about whether you're making a decision or you're getting intuitive hits and information, whether it's clairvoyance, clairaudience, clairsentience, claircognizance, psychometry, um, and you're getting pushback. So that door is inviting you to go in. You need to look at something first. You need to look within because intuition is intimacy. Into me I see. So you're being guided to look at something. Why are you feeling blocked? Why are you feeling resistance? Is it because you're pushing because you just have to know? No, that's the ego that wants to know everything, wanting exact names and dates and facts. And, and really, what are predictions for? To put you into fight, flight, freeze. Putting you into future casting, taking you out of alignment. So someone makes a prediction like Nostradamus. Everybody refers back to that. Oh, he predicted this, he predicted that, he predicted 2020. Great, we're now in 2024. How is that relevant? And As we had come out of that, we're seeing all the things that were hidden underneath, which was our innate intuitive abilities. So are you feeling an intuitive block? Comment below. And really, this door, that's the resistance, is just allow it to swing inward and pause and reflect, because that's really the biggest piece. So recently I taught a workshop at a conference, and I was teaching people on how to use their intuition and how to get in the flow and how to use and manifest and how that actually works. And yet I read into a lot— I was— there was a lot of resistance in the room. So it bears worth talking about it. So do you have resistance? Do you find you're trying harder than heck to create something to be abundant, to make connections, to have real relationships, to really see you and support you and get a life to where you really follow your inner guidance and make quick decisions and not wasting time with second-guessing? Second-guessing is a time waster. It's an anxiety creator. It is a manifestation blocker. And that is pretty much a great deal of humanity. So going back to that workshop, one of my experiences, my intuition guided me and I chose a man to come up and, and on stage with me. And he was sitting and he was really quiet. He was smiling, he was leaning in. But when I brought him up on stage, he was surprised. And I asked him, what do you want more than anything in the world? And he said, well, I've been saying for months and months that I just want to really be seen. Oh, I said, well, you just manifested it because you're standing in front of all these people, including myself, who are very available to really see you and to really accept you and to really appreciate you. So tell them who you are, tell them what you love, tell them about what you want to be and, and what you want to think. And he couldn't do it. It was just turning him out, and he started talking about non-meaning and, you know, and meanings, and he was very inauthentic. It was like a speech, like something that he had already— that was already a programmed response, and he was sabotaging himself right in front of everybody. And hey, I've done it, I know. And this is resistance. Can you see how he just manifested and pulled Like he just pulled himself right up here to have all these people in a very positive, loving audience clapping for you and wanting to meet you, and you totally sabotaged it. You canceled it. That is classic resistance. That's what I mean. Do you have an inner critic? Do you have an inner saboteur? And then I asked him, what are you afraid of? Oh my heart. And he said, "I'm afraid people won't like me." Oh my goodness. And I said, "Well, what people look at, you know, the people right in front of you, is there anybody in this audience giving you the stink eye and glaring at you and judging and crossing their arms?" And he couldn't even look. It was kind of blank. He was looking, but he wasn't really seeing anyone in front of him. And I said, the people you're talking to are in your head and they're in the past. At the same time, you just created exactly what you wanted. You have to create the room, the energy, the tone to receive it. Whoo! It was a struggle, but finally there. He finally let people experience him, to which he got a standing ovation. So that is how the universe will respond. So when you let yourself stop resisting and actually receive what it is you want. So how do we do that? And how do— and really, how much resistance are we in and why? How much resistance are you in? I'd love to know. Where in your life are you resisting? And I had another experience over that same weekend. We had a beautiful dinner with one of my most favorite people on the planet who's going through quite the challenge. Her first cancer challenge she had to overcome, but really it led her to a bigger challenge, which is real clear awareness that she wanted to change in her life, including her partnerships, including the work she did, including even where she lived. It was, you know, my new mental urge for change, to the point where she was tearing up and really yearning for change. But what we actually talked about was the various ways her intuition had actually been guiding her. All those little beautiful breadcrumbs from Spirit making suggestions, bringing people in who would be supportive to help reinvent herself. Because we're all reinventing ourselves. We can— if we want something new in our life, we cannot be what we were before. So we have to start a new path and maybe begin some brand new personal business, maybe move where she wants to live somewhere, a climate that will welcome her, make her feel more alive. Every single thing we discussed, she brought up resistance. I can't do that. I'm not ready. That won't work. That didn't work for others. To the point where I said, well, what I can see is that you want to consider it right now, but you're ready— you're not really ready for this to happen. So let's talk about What in that resistance is important to acknowledge? You can't just barrel through it, ignore it, bypass it. There's a lot of spiritual bypassing going on too, and a lot of, ooh, only good vibes, because I'm just going to pretend I'm just so happy when I'm just a total wreck inside. So I'm a big believer that our resistance is is protecting something that we want or feel we must protect. And until we feel safe enough to make the change, to receive the good things, right? So we— I talked about with her what she needed. What do you need to feel safe? And it really came down to the unpredictability of starting a new life, because it didn't feel safe because the ego We'll go back to the ego. The ego is there to protect you and, and, um, it just make you comfort. We're creatures of comfort, right? So even though she had a job she didn't like and a partner that frustrated her to no end, the predictability of it left her feeling financially secure. That's really what it comes down to, is I know a lot of people who are in relationships because of the finances, right? So that means the next step— because the definition of, you know, of success, of the next thing, the next step, maybe wouldn't be the up and just move to a foreign country and start your own business with no real financial backing. Maybe the next step is just to get a part-time job in the business you're interested in, or maybe it's starting your own business. Your, your side hustle, whatever you want to call it, and experience it. If it's something you really resonate with, go visit that location too. I've— I do a lot of traveling. That's what I do. If I'm like, oh, that country looks really cool, I'm gonna go check it out. I went and checked out the UK back in April. Not for me. Not for me. Um, South America, definitely for me. You know, there's some differences in symbolism there. So the biggest reason we have resistance is so much is we jump so far, we can't imagine it. Our heart's desires, creating the life you really, really want. So in my book, Intuition Saved My Life, I have actionable steps. I have step-by-step and practical steps that will lead you to success, right? So imagine what you want and create what you cannot imagine. I think that's a big one there. And our great deal of resistance is creating something that we have experience and trying to imagine it for us. And that goes back to that inner child, the inner child, the child always possible, always imagining things, always creating things, always having fun. I think that's the biggest piece— having fun and just welcoming in all the surprises and going, oh my goodness, thank you, because there's more thank-yous, there's more gratitude. Hello, universe is like, yeah, more for you because you're open to it, not going, you know, that doesn't quite work for me. That doesn't look like how I would imagine it. No, your imagination is limitless, and so are you. So even that, you know, that fellow that was on the stage who created, um, things he couldn't imagine being safe, and even though there were people in front of him who had the very same desire, we were willing to see him with so much love. But he missed it because in his mind he couldn't imagine that existed. So when we have resistance, let's look at what we're protecting and what fear we have and what are we protecting so we can imagine that change is okay. Change is amazing. Change is fun. And change that is safe, right? I want to go into relationships because I had met someone and, you know, his life partner was 39 and he said, I'm ready, I don't want to— I want a family, I want a wife, I want kids, I want the whole thing. And he met someone at a yoga retreat who was 43, just slightly older, and they had the same interests and a lot of chemistry and it went really, really well. But the minute he got back, he called and said he needed an emergency reading. Everything about this is so good, I don't believe it. She— something's going to go wrong. He was so resistant to the idea that this could actually work. That is part of sabotage as well. Or I'm not worthy of receiving this love, this friendship, this abundance. So what about change scares you? And the second thing about resistance is you have one identity and that's what has to change. So he was looking at the identity of himself who was really frustrated, um, who was just looking and looking and looking, and he could imagine the identity of being loved. So I said, take marriage and take commitment off the table. We're future casting, we're getting way too ahead. And just get to know someone. Can you imagine that? Not just, is this going to be fit my big dream? Is this someone I can just enjoy my life with? Because that's all it is. So when he heard that, he gave himself permission to just imagine that. What if, what if, if he could just stop making it the big wedding, the big dream, all the kids, and he quit fighting and he could imagine making new friends. And, you know, he had a lot of women friends, a lot, and he said he could just end up being with one or more women friends. And he loves his women friends, but okay, so after 9 months of dating, going back and forth as just friends, he relaxed into it, and he said, you know, I really can see us together. So it's part, you know, we're going to give it time. And we took time to get entrenched in the holes that we're in. So how are we going to release the resistance? How? Well, the minute we don't feel resistance that experience will happen. So don't get frustrated with resistance. It's trying to protect you in some way. So think about what is your resistance? How does that feel? So it's called to protect. Like, for example, um, a woman I was talking to, uh, in another event, she said she had a really strong intuition to go spend some time in Thailand and maybe Bali, I mean, those are Sri Lanka, those are quite exotic. And she was so obsessed with it, but every time she thought about taking this step, she stopped and said, I'm afraid, I, I just won't let myself do this. And it's been 2 years of talking herself out of it. So those are life-changing experiences. And every cell of her body told her that's what she wanted to do. So we talked about her resistance, and her resistance wasn't change. Her resistance was being alone. See how we all think, ooh, change is scary, but when you really dig in— and that's part of the work that we do together— it was about being alone. Anybody else feel that? And she said, you know, if I'm really going to get down to it, I'm afraid that I'd be so lonely and so shy, so scared that I wouldn't meet anybody. And I get it. I was in South America for 6 months alone, but I met some amazing people, some people I would have never met if I didn't go, right? Ah, so once she named what she was afraid of It was just huge. So I said, why don't you just start by going for a week or two, like a retreat? Go with other people. There's a lot of women that travel together, that go in groups. There's so many retreats out there. So, and then you could stay longer. That was just one suggestion. So if you have something on your mind, bucket list You got to— you got— there's a reason for it, and you need to start checking these off. Because when people are on their deathbed, what do they regret? Not ticking the boxes, not going for it. So what are you avoiding? So she never thought of it that way, that she'd have travel companions, that there were women's groups, that that were— if you love animals, there's so many pet sitting groups out there. You can just swap accommodation for pet sitting or just swap, do housing swaps. There's so many things out there. So now someone else might think, um, damn, but she really didn't know. So she was very excited and she says, I'm gonna go do it now. She was so full of excitement. Excitement versus resistance. How can you be excited about something, right, than being frustrated and not barreling through on it? So we're going to go back to that door. Let it come in and take a step back. So what do we want to examine? For example, the classic one is abundance. We hear it all the time— law of attraction, manifestation. Abundance. Now when people say they want to create abundance, I'm always one to say, well, that's a word. What does it mean? What does abundance mean to you? Because it's just— a lot of times it's just words and it doesn't have a feeling. There has to be a feeling behind it. And I was talking with, you know, our group of students And they started saying they weren't sure what abundance means. And I want more money than I can spend. I want good clothes. I want to be able to travel. And then narrow it down to what experience you would love. So that would give you the abundance experience instead of the generic abundance, which may not mean much to your emotional body. So, you know, they've been asking for abundance because they want to travel. And we're going back to travel. I love traveling because traveling is healing. Traveling is experience. Travel is memories. These are things you cannot buy. You can't. They're permanently imprinted in you, and it's almost like you're reprogramming yourself. So someone said they really want to take a trip, and I said she would love to travel in style, you know, not economy. Whoo! She's— so I said, just, you know, instead of abundance, can you imagine playfully what traveling in style would actually look like to you? And imagine it without pressure to create or not create it, but imagine it because it's your heart's desire. It's creating the life you really want. So what can you imagine? So she really started imagining, and she said, you know, I always welcome a vision board. My goodness, I mean, I've had so many things manifest. I've had so many clients here manifest from a vision board. And if you're here and watching, you let us know. Uh, so she said, I want a first-class seat. Yes, you know, I'm thinking of the Emirates, uh, flights. I mean, those are like Woo! Right? And the flight attendant would bring you champagne and a hot towel, and she would have the best suitcase, and she would have a 5-star hotel. And these are beautiful images of restaurants. And this to me would be a vacation worth taking. Anybody else want to go first class? Thinking it's not for you? Well, you've already talked yourself out of it. So talk yourself into being your first class. We are all first class, right? And I don't want to put anybody into classes, but we all get to experience this playful abundance imagination. So lo and behold, a couple months later, an old college roommate reached out to her and said, I work for Sony, and I've been in— you know, they've been in touch, close, friendly. She just got an all-expense-paid trip a business trip to Japan. Now that's another place I want to go. Maybe comment below where you want to go and travel. What's your abundant travel place? So she's allowed to take somebody and she didn't know anybody, so she reached out to her. She's like, do you want to go on a 5-star trip to Tokyo? Hello! She was flabbergasted. She said, of course she had the time off. They went together, didn't cost her anything. So we resist what we cannot imagine. We resist what we cannot imagine, or where we're afraid to change. Where are you not— what are you resisting in your imagination and change? We resist trusting our intuition. Like that gentleman who met his perfect partner, but then he got resistance about the changes involved. So how can you break it down into bite sizes? Because it's all about, you know, the imagination, the feeling, and the action. IFA. What are you doing today about it? So what you can work with right now, and what are you trying to protect right now? Where are you struggling right now? If you have no resistance, you're going to create the experience. And resistance is really a mirroring to where our imagination, beliefs, and ideas are. And if we can just, you know, Ah, you know, get some of those goals and be more immediate and meaningful and imaginable, then you're going to keep moving along. And I had a client who was looking for a beautiful pair of very specific yellow satin shoes for a wedding dress, like she was part of a wedding party. And she said, I don't have the money for this, but the bride invited me to be in her wedding and she asked me to buy them. So I had all kinds of resistance, right? She had resentment for her resistance, saying spending that money on yellow shoes, where I'm going to wear them again, I don't have the money for this. So I said, make it a game. You're giving yourself permission to say no, I can't do that. So maybe give yourself 2 weeks because the wedding is in 6 months. You have lots of time. Give yourself 2 weeks to play the game. That you want to wear the yellow satin shoes that you can afford. So you're not, you know, you have to create this and you're pushing past your imagination. It's a playful invitation. And I wonder where— I love that— where am I going to find those shoes that I can afford? So you leave it out for the universe to, you know, to deliver it to you. And one day she was in the mall helping her daughter get something else for the weekend, and she was walking back to her car and she sees a discount shoe store and she finds a yellow pair of satin shoes in her size, low heel, extra bonus, for $29. And she said, you know, who's, who's going to look at your feet anyways at the wedding? But they were lovely. And they weren't the $300 ballet shoes that the bride wanted. So she took a picture and she sent them to the bride, and the bride said, those are fantastic. And bam, you are vibrationally attracted to one another because you've already decided you were open and you stopped the resistance. And being more playful So take it in bite sizes. How can you relax? How can you be playful? How can you invite? I, I want you to try this for yourself. Write down, write in the comments what you've been resistant to, then try some of these things and let me know if it shifts for you. And sometimes you can just shift a little resistance. Yeah, and Marsha here is saying, for sure, 3 things I wrote on her vision board happened: elder care, death doula, and spirit. And Marsha, by the way, worked with me and she was retired, and now everything has been refired, rewired, and here she is stepping into her purpose. And I want to talk more about opening the channel for manifestation. So huge dreams come in very quickly, so does change. I've experienced it. So here's the final word: always be willing to be surprised. The biggest resistance we have is our assumptions and judgment. What is possible, and we downplay what is possible in our imagination. And what we know is what we know as of yesterday or this morning, and these things are changing all the time. So if you're willing to be surprised, and the way to do that is to say, "I don't know how it's going to happen." I don't know how many times I've done that. But I'm willing to be surprised, and I'm really truly available for a good surprise. So are you truly available for a good surprise? I can tell you they're going to start happening like popcorn popping— bing bing bing bing bing— and when they're ready to come through, you will have no resistance. So make it playful. So if you can't push the door outward and step in, you You know, you can push it outward once you've gone in, right? So take that step back, let it flow in, be open, have fun, be playful, and that door will open. And be curious and wonder instead of beating yourself up, because that critical crap doesn't work anymore. So let's try something else. We're gonna, you know, instead of fighting against it, that you won't succeed, it isn't necessary, just ease into it and the resistance will ease out. Wow. So I hope you enjoyed this, uh, video. There will be more coming through in this group. And please share this, feel free to comment, um, you know, do all those wonderful things in our beautiful group and be a cheerleader for others. Support each other, collaborate with each other. Ask questions, be curious, because you're probably sharing something that somebody else is feeling scared to do so. So why don't you take the first step? Because that's an act of courage, and that is being brave, and that is being vulnerable. And shame and guilt cannot exist in that same space once you have created it and let that door open. And I have left a few links below if you'd like to work with me further, if you have any questions, if you would like to join our private community offline of Facebook as well. And I have the 12-week and 1-year mentorships coming up, and I mean, they're amazing. I teach everything including Intuition development. So yeah, I'm going to, um, publish the poll as well and let me know if there's anything else in the group you need that is not there for you. And then please invite other beautiful empaths, lightworkers into this group so you guys can be like— this is a community, and without the unity the connection, the collaboration, there is no community. And it's yours, so make it how you can imagine it. All right, well, I'm sending you so much love. Until next time, take care of yourself.
