In this personal commentary, the speaker warns viewers about the prevalence of spiritual narcissism within awakening and holistic communities. She explains that people in crisis often seek guidance, making them vulnerable to self‑styled gurus who use love‑bombing, exclusive teachings, and authoritarian control under the guise of love and light. She shares her own anxiety experienced in a holistic group, describing how such environments feel oppressive and are often populated by narcissistic personalities. The speaker also announces she is writing a second book focused on the dynamics between empaths and narcissists and offers to help viewers heal trauma bonds, inviting comments and engagement.

Spiritual narcissism. Yes, I had to record this, record this 4 times because my tongue kept getting twisted on that one. I was in a group recently and someone had asked what my thoughts were on that. Let me tell you, I would say that happens more often than not in the spiritual realms. And why? Because most people are going through a deep awakening or they're having huge Tower moments, their whole life is falling apart, they're losing everything, they're going through a lot of grief and loss and trauma and being triggered and looking for someone to tell them it's okay. This is where the spiritual, so-called spiritual gurus come in, teachers, masters, whatever you want to call them. Under the guise that they're full of love and light and they're here to help. In fact, they're not. They will dissect you in ways you have no idea, and then they will pull pieces. They will be very charming and love bomb you and tell you you're super amazing, or I'm super amazing and I have all these titles and certifications and this is why you should follow me. And if you follow someone else, then you're gonna— it's gonna be wrong. Or if you do this certain meditation or this certain practice, it's wrong. And if you do it my way, it's right. Right there, that is spiritual narcissism at its finest. And there's a lot of COVID folks out there, so be aware. Tune into yourself. If something doesn't feel right— like today I'm inspired to record this because the question was asked yesterday. I'm like, well, it kind of happens everywhere. But then I walked into a group of holistic spiritual practitioners. The whole time I felt anxious. The whole time I did not feel good in the group. And that is why I don't attend any of these groups because 99% of them are full of narcissists anyways. If you have any other questions, I'm writing my second book all about the empath and the narcissist and heal the trauma bond forever. It is possible. And there are ways to heal. And I would love to help you with that. So comment below. Take care.
