The Power of Lakshmi Dev Bowen! How to create your heaven on earth!

Hello and welcome to The Power of Healing Your Energy Show. This show is all about your light, your intuition, your soul's purpose. And did you know depression and anxiety are a side effect of you not living your life intuitively, not trusting your gut, the lost connections with your highest self and others? So let's go higher and feel deeper. Hello, fellow empaths. I'm Christine with 24 Karat Healing. I'm a spiritual medium, intuitive energy coach, and old soul healer. And each week we have a guest and a subject, and we're always seeking to know more, diving in at a deep level. This is episode 31, and if you're into numbers, that's 4 in numerology, and that actually happens to be a life path number. But anyways, it is the power of Lakshmi Bowen, and we're asking how to create your own heaven on earth. And a little bit about her: she's a soul fulfillment mentor for women who secretly struggle with an emotionally painful past, leaving them mentally drained and emotionally exhausted by self-criticism, and she helps stop the cycle of seeking outside approval, which I love, for inner peace to create a life that feels purposeful. She has been studying and practicing yoga and spiritual healing for over 20 years and is dedicated to uplifting the planet by positively impacting others through teaching, coaching, and speaking. Her passion came from healing her own childhood trauma and body hatred issues, initiating her to become a yoga instructor with over 10,000 hours of teaching experience.

Wow. And then she became a healer, life coach, speaker, and author.

And she believes— and I so believe— in a world where women who've been through hell and back create their own heaven on earth for a fulfilled and elevated life of inner peace. And she's an international empowerment transformational retreat host, bringing women together for memorable, fulfilling experiences of self-nourishment, And she's also a married mom of 3 living in gorgeous Tucson, Arizona, and she loves to spend time immersed in the magic of Costa Rica. Welcome to the show.

Thank you so much for having me.

Thank you for being here. And my goodness, you know, I thought 10,000 hours of yoga—

of course, my analytical side came through and says How, how long did that take?

How long does 10,000 hours—

what does that entail?

Well, I've been practicing 25-ish years and teaching 16-ish years, so it takes a lot of teaching and practice. You know, you think of a teacher training as typically a 200-hour that people start with, and then I have two of those. So I have my 200-hour and then I have a 220-hour, and then all of the other things. And so it's kind of wild how when you look at it, it just adds up. And one day when I was having to put in my hours. So when we do recertification through Yoga Alliance, you put in your hours and you can go up to like an educational registered yoga teacher, which is what I am. And it's based on how many hours you teach and also your certifications. And so when you're adding it up and then you see that, it's like, wow, That's, that's a lot of teaching.

So yes, definitely, definitely. Um, now what I really loved is you actually did the work. I mean, you're teaching women, but you also did the work with childhood trauma and body hatred issues. Um, how— I guess, like, did you hit rock bottom? Because everybody has their own way of saying, okay, I'm going to start this journey because— mm-hmm.

Yeah, I feel like I had a few of those. I think I definitely had— I almost feel like they're more awakenings than they were rock bottoms. And when I was younger, I didn't recognize any of that. I just was just going through the motions. And when you have a lot of trauma in your background, you're just living in fight or flight anyway, and your nervous system is a wreck. And so that was me. I had just— a lot of the repercussions of the trauma. And so it wasn't until I was pretty much in my 20s when I started my yoga journey. I went to— I was always very physical, but most of it was not in a positive way because I was obsessed with my body and everything became about my body, right? Like what size my body was, my weight of my body, what my body looked like, my idea of my body. And so I stayed in that cycle and I had bulimia really bad too. And so I had kind of shifted from anorexia to bulimia and then into drug addiction. I think it just, you know, there were times that I was literally at that like suicidal moment and you just know that there's more. And I feel like that's what happened is underneath all of these stories and circumstances and positions I'd put myself in that I would intuitively know were not right. Underneath it there was something that was saying, but there's more, right? There was always this little bit of hope, I guess you could say. And I had realized when I did a yoga practice that it was not the physical workout, right, that I was typically used to doing. And when I laid down at the end, you know, and let everything soak in, I was like, whoa, there's something happening here, you know. That kind of brought this awareness. And then I started looking into more of yoga and studying it and understanding the mind-body-spirit spirit connection. And it just has become this journey. And thank God I'm on it because I don't know where I'd be without it. It's definitely been my, my lifesaver. And I, I like to say yoga found me. I didn't really find it, it found me. And it's just been a beautiful relationship that then led to, okay, now let me find out more about energy and going into energy healing and working with the chakras. And also understanding that the mindset was huge and embodiment. That's the piece that I think a lot of people are missing is you know, you, you go to yoga or you practice yoga or you do coaching and mindset, but then there's a piece that's together that through the breath is the way that I found it, where you embody that which you really desire and you just really have to change how you feel in your daily life and what you're embodying to create a different future. And so that's what I had to do, and, and now here we are.

So wow. And bulimia, anorexia, and then, uh, drug addiction. That's pretty intense. I, I can't say I had any eating issues other than it was emotional attachment to food. It wasn't the— which a lot of women have as well. And, uh, that, that's important. That must have been, uh, difficult because my sister actually had bouts of, um, anorexia. I remember that.

And yeah, it was scary.

Well, and I think what happens is when You're in this— it's, it's a mental— it's an inner turmoil. And I call it one of the— my main topics that I speak about is inner conflict, right? We're conflicted about what we should be and what we shouldn't be. And do, do I really need this? I shouldn't want this. And, you know, our self-doubts and the fears. And especially when you have trauma in your background, there's a lot of that that's like at the forefront. And so you kind of have to say it's okay, it's okay, and get into the, the soul level. To go beyond that initial nervous system issue and the ego mind. And one thing that I've realized with my past especially, and everybody has their own thing, but it was a lack of feeling I had control in my life when I was younger. And so how did I control? I controlled through my body. And so I controlled through not eating and through starving and through, you know, being able to at least say I can control my size if I don't feel like I have control of anything else. My mental state, my emotional state. I can control what goes in my body and the size of my body. And, um, but it's not a way to live because then I wasn't living, I was hiding. And everything became dependent on what I looked like or what I felt like or comparing myself. And comparison, as we all know, is never a way to live that fulfills us.

So absolutely not. And living from, um, always seeking outside approval always looking outside when everything is within. I guess that was one of my big epiphanies because I, you know, I've lost 100 pounds twice in my life and I was like a size 2 and I would still look at pictures in my 20s and thought, wow, I, I was fat. Like, I had that real body image issues. So I, I totally resonate with this and I think a lot of women do as well.

Do you have—

I, you know what, I wonder if there are— are there any men that have that?

There are actually. I think the society that we're in now is making it a little harder too, where it's like everybody's expected to be perfect, right? It's these unreal expectations and it absolutely drives me nuts. I do. I had a friend actually when I was at the same age, we were a year apart. And he had the same issues with himself. And so it was— what's funny is when we are in these modes in our life that are maybe not serving us, we tend to also find those that are going through similar things and we attach to each other, which is very unhealthy. And so, you know, it, it also gives you this interesting perspective where I see him talking about this stuff and I'm like, you're crazy, like, what are you talking about? But But yet I saw it with myself and nobody could tell me that I was crazy. And so you just— it again, it's that outside. It doesn't matter what somebody else— I could have the most— any person in the world, family, friends, you know, boyfriend say, you look so good, or, you know, I love your body, or whatever they say. And it doesn't matter because that's again coming from outside. So even though we're seeking that outside approval, that outside approval gives us a very temporary piece of validation. But it's always going to come back to ourselves. And if we approve of ourselves— and for me, it's really about, you know, specializing in helping women with self-acceptance. And it's not just physical appearance, it's accepting who you truly are and accepting your purpose and accepting your voice and, you know, accepting that what has happened is there in your past for its own purpose. And sometimes that's really hard to do, and I struggled with it for decades, honestly.

Hmm. Yeah. I still have moments where I catch myself and it's almost like you can't take a compliment because you don't know your worth. Hmm.

Yeah.

That's, that's, that word seems to come up, you know, in the last 2 years for a lot of women, um, the worthiness and the busier I am, the better I feel when actually it's the opposite. Do you, You get a lot of clients that come in that are, um, I, I guess the word would be burnout. Does that—

yeah, so typically what I notice is there, and women don't notice this a lot of times when they're coming to me, this is what I have seen, so I love that you're bringing this up. There is an underlying self-criticism that's happening, right? And so it's this constant, right, she's criticizing like, I'm not whatever enough, right? Or I'm too much of this. It's always like one or the other, like you can't win. So when that self-criticism is constant, it leads to that, well, then I'll do this and this shows that I'm valuable, or I'll have this and this shows that I'm worthy. Exactly what you're talking about with that worthiness piece that is related to busy or what you have, or, but I've raised these kids in this family, right? It's all these things outside of me. This is my friend. Yes. This is what I look like. This is my status. This is my financial success. This is my— what people are saying about me and in positive ways, right? The validation ways. And they— again, it's like if you keep constantly avoiding what really needs to be looked at within and what needs connection, my true belief is that acceptance and connection are— they're almost intertwined. They're like a woven piece of thread. So what is not being accepted within needs you to go in and connect to it, and what feels disconnected within needs to be accepted. And so the two can really work together really beautifully when you start doing the work. But when you're avoiding it, what happens is it's a constant— it's that seeking, whether it's outside approval or that constant criticism that keeps us in this almost like downward low vibrational spiral. Oh yeah, because you, you're— you can't get out, right? Because it's just like running in circles and you're not running up the vibrational energy, you're just running around it. And it's, it's not, it's not a way to live. And so until there comes that place of true acceptance, that's what leads to inner peace. And that's what I think so many women are missing is they think if they just do more, if they just become more, if they just volunteer more, they just, you know, show up more, all these more, more, more, then it's going to work out. It's the if then, right? If this, then that. And it doesn't work that way. It starts from the pause, right? That let's get inside, let's use the breath, let's go beyond the limited mind— which the mind is actually limitless, but we tend to only use the part that's limiting us sometimes. We're in those cycles, right? Yeah, cycles and the emotional cycles. And when you go beyond that and get into the soul level, you really do know and see and experience your truth. And that's what I've loved so much about my work and helping guide women to within themselves is getting them into that space of, okay, let's go here. And then it's like, oh, this is what life is about. And then take those moments and moving forward from that energetic space.

Yeah, definitely. I mean, Louise Hay— I, I just posted about this yesterday. She She says, you've been criticizing yourself for years and it hasn't worked. Try approving of yourself and see what happens.

Ooh, I love— I have chills right now. I've always loved her work. And something very recently happened and I thought, oh my gosh, I want to get out my book just to go through it again. The Heal Your Body, Heal Your Life. It's just so sound for people to make these connections And when, when you make a connection of, oh, I get it, or at least I see it, I'm aware of it, because everything starts with awareness. You can't live a life where you're ascending and growing and, you know, really experiencing life fulfilling if you're constantly in denial or not willing to look at it or resisting or avoiding. And again, like I said, that avoidance happens through thinking of all the other things, right, are going to make you whole and complete when you already are whole and complete. You just need to get back into your soul. And so I just feel anybody who either hasn't seen her yet or doesn't know who she is or even does, just go back and read what she says because it is really profound and beautiful work.

It is. And it might not be, you know, that book. It might be another book or something you hear. Like, I— it's— oh man, there's so much. I mean, I see it as a connection, as you know, like through a child's eyes and We need to go back to that where, like, I saw the sunrise this morning and I quickly went by and I saw it and I dragged myself back.

I'm like, look, beautiful purple and oranges and pinks.

It was amazing. Now that's awe-inspiring. That's how we need to look at our lives.

Well, just imagine if every day we, instead of looking at what's wrong with us or what's not working or what we need to fix or Um, again, looking at outside of us to the seeking, and this will be the answer, this will fix me, this will help me, this will make me feel good about myself. We just really sunk into the magic of the moment, and we were inspired by life each day, like inspired by ourselves and inspired by the fact that everything is really working in this really beautiful harmony. And yet we are so out of harmony with ourselves and with each other a lot of times. Because we're constantly seeking. And that it— like, I can feel it when I think about it. I feel it, and it's exhausting. It's like you said, that burnout, the overwhelm, exhaustion. It's just like it never stops. It just— it never stops until you say, okay, I'm making the choice right now. And I think for me, that's what really happened, was saying, I don't want to live like this anymore, and I know there's a better life for me. And then making that decision and saying, what can I do? And then looking at the pieces that work. And, and everybody has their own thing. Not everything is, you know, not everybody's going to do yoga. I always say that. But if everybody can just really work with using their breath— breath is the key to unlocking everything. And it's just so beautiful when we get into the space of being with our breath. The breath is the breath of life, you know. If you're not breathing, you're not living. And so when you can access something that you don't have to go anywhere to do, and yes, you can learn breath techniques and go to breath workshops and learn from me and people who do that, but the, the truth is you get to use it on your own. And that's so empowering when everything that we're working through to heal and to grow and to also experience life in a really beautiful way starts from within. And it really is just like, for me, it's getting my journal out sometimes and writing. And I just— whatever comes through comes through. It doesn't have to be anything. It just is.

Yes.

Yoga just is me on my mat. I don't have to watch a video. I just start moving. And the breathwork is just following the breath in, following the breath out. These little, little things are actually so— have such a huge impact on us. And we forget that, but we are energy. And so if the energy is constantly going and it's being depleted everywhere and given to everything, we don't feel whole.

That is true. Um, and I wanted to mention, if, uh, any—

please say hello.

This is a live and interactive show.

I can see all comments.

If you have any questions, maybe about breathwork, maybe about, you know, your soul's purpose, about your healing journey or spiritual journey, please ask.

And of course, even if it's on the replay, we will interact, we will answer all questions.

And let us know if this is your first time being here. Share this out with your friends and family and even acquaintances, or, you know, maybe folks that you feel might need a little boost or maybe some healing themselves. I mean, you know, we're all students of the universe. I, I don't Yeah, that's how I feel every single day.

Have no idea what's going to happen, right?

Exactly.

And another thing that popped up on my feed today was something I shared last year about don't die with the music still left inside of you, something Wayne Dyer talked about. But a lady asked Gary Vee, Gary Vaynerchuk, in his limo, um, 3 words for inspiration to get us through life. And he goes You're going—

you will die.

Basically, those are the three words that just made me laugh because— and even Buddha says, you know, that the whole reason of enlightenment and your spiritual journey is to, you know, um, make your way home.

It is.

Yeah, that's the whole idea. And if you can do it in one lifetime, yeah, but some of us take more than one lifetime.

So I feel like in this lifetime I've lived at least 5 or 10 so far. So that's something that's been interesting too.

Yeah, I love that you call yourself that, by the way.

I meant to mention that because it's just—

it's—

there are those of us that I, I believe karmically we're in the ending of the karma. Like, it's like there's the beginning, and I feel like I've been through enough to deal with karma for enough lifetimes now. And so definitely, uh, Okay, but then what are you going to do with it, right? Are you going to just be a victim your whole life or talk about how you can't, or, you know, really look at everything that happened as being like bad? And that was my life in the past. I was so jaded and I was so angry and I was so frustrated that that was my life. You know, that was my way. Like, this is my life. This is, you know, how I'm living. This is what I get put with. This is my family. This is my Yeah, and I would get really angry. And I think until I really started to do the deep healing work of acceptance, I didn't understand that it was okay that those processes, circumstances, situations, whatever, had been in my life. And they were actually what gave me passion to do what I do, and they gave me more purpose to live and say, hey, I can do whatever I desire. And they also gave me a lot of strength. So we do get more strength going through those. And I don't think it's a competition. I think there's a lot of that going on now. Like, well, I've been through hell and back and you have. Like, well, you don't get a golden ticket because of that. You know, it's like, what are you going to do now though that will make you create your heaven on earth and also possibly do that for someone else? And for me, that's so important as a soul light on this journey is to Even if it's right here, somebody hearing this that says, oh my gosh, I needed to hear that, that's a positive impact on somebody. And so we can take anything that we've been through, and one of the words that comes up for me a lot is the resilience. You know, if you have that sense of resilience, you really see that, okay, this happened and it is what it was. It's not even what it is right now, it's what it was. And then you learn what you learned from it and you bless it and you send it love. And there's so much more shaming of people and things and situations. And I think what happens that we don't really get mentally and logically is then that holds that person in those situations in that energy of shame.

Oh yeah.

I really don't like when somebody says, you know, so-and-so should be ashamed of themselves or whatever. And I get where it's coming from. But I also believe, well, what we really need to do is see where does this person need healing, or where does this person need love, or where, where do they need to accept themselves, versus are we really needing to send them shame and hatred and the fears and anger, whatever it is? Because that just keeps that cycle then progressing and progressing and turning into a giant shame monster.

So, shame monster. Yeah, we have a lot in common. Like when you said that the anger and the frustration and the victimhood. Oh man. Yeah. Fear and judgment ruled, ruled a lot of things.

Um, and I wonder if others feel like this too. There's this, the judgment, right? We see the situations in the life and then we end up, it becomes this internal judgment. Do you feel that way with—

I do. And I have to catch myself and then I say, thank you for showing this to me. And I let it go. Yeah, I forgive, I forgive them and myself, and I just let it go. Um, it's— and sometimes, you know, it's, uh, lessons. That's what we're here for. Yeah.

And I do believe that that's why we have this body that we're given with all these emotions. We tend to want to feel the good ones and push away the bad, and emotions are just they're energy and motion. It's like they're, they're here to, to teach us and to guide us. And so when we're trying to constantly push them away or tell them that they don't belong here, or, you know, just get through them— oh yeah, suck it up, or yeah, deny it. Yeah, it's like, but then how are we getting to the lesson underneath that emotion, which to me is always coming from the soul level? And so I love when I get to work with women who have, and I don't want to say push down their emotions, but that's one way of putting it, really just either swallowing them or, you know, only feeling so much and let them really like hold the space for them to feel it and really let it process because we tend to also say that we need to release this, right? I need to release this emotion or I need to release this energy. And I don't, necessarily think that's the, the terminology anymore that needs to be used. It's more about letting it process, because every emotion then shifts. It doesn't stay in that forever. And so the processing of it then dissolves where it's like heavier into this beautiful, again, lesson underneath it. And so for me, it's been beautiful being able to create a system, the Soul Phase coaching system, where it's like, okay, What's underneath that fear though, right? It's not fear is bad. It's just that we're so afraid of the fear. And so then what's underneath it? And then how can then that, that come up and what was holding it, the fear dissolves so that then it processes into what it's telling you on that soul level.

Definitely. I just like what you said, release it. I saw it like, you know, blowing bubbles. I'm very visual that way. Watch it float up and then go.

Yeah.

Oh, I love it. Yeah. Um, it's funny, I get distracted a lot. Um, so what is—

so you're saying not release.

So I guess what's the best way? Um, because, you know, I, I feel like if we're frustrated, we have anger, there's an underlying emotion, and it's mainly like, through my work, it's mainly tied to the heart chakra. Um, or the root chakra. Those seem to be the two, but, um, at least in my experiences with my clients. But, um, letting go, so crying.

Well, here's my thing. So I have been a crier since I was young. Like, even if you see pictures of me as a baby, I'm kind of pretty convinced that I didn't want to be in this world when I was born here. Ironically, I did have a lady that did like a handwriting analysis once and she's like, you came out like, no, no, no, like, put me back. And I was overdue. So that all makes sense to me, honestly.

Yes.

And at the same time, crying is a beautiful way of processing emotion and it's a release, right? It's a physical release and it's cleansing. And there's a lot of hormonal things happening. And that's what we forget sometimes too, is that every single thing is hormonal. Like all the emotions, the meditative experiences, the nervous system issue. It's all hormones either secreting or not secreting or being, you know, over-secreted or under-secreted. And so when you were asking like, what do we do then? We feel, right? And so versus the, I need to release this, I need to release this. It's what if I just feel this? What if I really just feel and feel into this and just listen? Like really let yourself feel and listen to what you're feeling because like you said, underneath it is typically grief or sadness. And even if you don't know the answer, it's not like we sit there and feel just because we're like, okay, because there's an answer underneath it. That's then putting an expectation on it. But it's just a knowing that the feeling is there and the emotion is real and we don't need to be so afraid of it. And so when we feel it, it starts then processing itself. Self. Like, sometimes it just wants to be present. I think that's what, what I'm getting is like, it, it's showing up to be present. And think of how not present we are as humans as well. We're not present to so many moments in life. And when we're not present, we're either in our head or we're in the criticism or we're in the seeking out, right? And so letting those emotions really, it's— I just, I see it. That's what I, I'm getting right now, is seeing it. It's the energy in motion, like letting it work its way through. And eventually, you have to think, eventually it's not gonna— it's gonna not be there. It's gonna dissolve.

It's like it dissolves, and there is no timeline, just like grief or anything else. That's another thing. That's an ego. Well, you got to be done by now. Like, what's What's wrong with you? Or yeah, get over it. Oh, and you know, the earth is, is very— is so dense, so heavy, and it's so hard on our nervous system to begin with. And that's why I'm always preaching self-care, whatever it looks like.

Exactly, whatever it looks like. And I wish that the word wasn't almost oversaturated now, and I don't, I don't believe it is, but I think other people, they're like, oh, self-care, like take bubble baths and like you'll be happy. And Sometimes it's deeper than that, but yes, it is really— it's caring for yourself. I mean, we do that with kids, and you know, that's a whole other subject, is looking at other humans from the eyes of— you accept your child, right? Or your, your pet. Or you don't say, well, I mean, I guess people, people do and people can, but there's a difference between a lot of times what we're willing to accept in someone else but we're not willing to accept in ourselves. And so again, what if we just came to, well, what if I just allowed myself to accept this piece of me? And instead of looking at our flaws as a flaw or a default or whatever, it's like, I'm just accepting that that's who I am, you know? Like, how much more beautiful life would be if we accepted ourselves the way that we do children or animals or, you know, I, I had an old mentor that he used to joke that, you know, we're just these giant toddlers in these and we don't know what to do with ourselves. And if we looked at each of us as that, when somebody's like, you know, having a fit or whatever, we'd be like, oh, like they just need to have their tantrum, you know. So we kind of do. We're emotional beings, and so we need to have our little tantrums and then say, okay, I accept this for what it is. And how beautiful that when I can let myself put this in this beautiful space of acceptance there's no expectation, there's no judgment, there's no lack, right? It's not too much or too little of anything. It's just a true neutral space that then gives more room for expansion to move up into the higher energetic vibrational levels.

Yeah, and I, I so love— like, we're just not kind and we don't acknowledge our our inner child more.

Would you—

like, I would, you know, it's funny, I, I, like you said, we treat our kids better than we treat ourselves.

We treat our pets better than we treat ourselves.

It's almost— and it's a way I see this as avoidance, um, right?

Yeah, think about it. If you're like, but look, I've done this for this person, but you're still avoiding doing what needs to be accepted within yourself.

Right?

Or I honestly, when I had a conversation on Sunday with someone, everything that we ended up talking about that she's kind of going through and experiencing, every one of them ended up attached to something outside of her. And it's just, if we really, really look at it, and that's what's so beautiful about doing this work, is when you really start breaking it down, and I use the term being the curious observer. So You mentioned something like looking at it through the eyes of curiosity. Like, if I'm curious about this emotion or this thought pattern or this story or this old victim mentality that I have around whatever, jealousy or whatever it might be, if I'm just curious and start questioning, like, okay, where is that coming from? Or is that really true? Or what if I didn't put any meaning to it? And then you'd also just observe, right? You observe, okay, there's this emotion coming again. I'm this, I'm curious about it, I'm observing it, I'm not giving all this meaning, it doesn't mean that there's something wrong with me or that, you know, I am mentally unstable, and you're just really coming from that place of being a curious observer with yourself, then it's not going to be that constant outside seeking and relation, right? It's like you're relating to the outside world, again, the worth, right? The worthiness, the value. If you're lovable, if you're good enough, if you're strong.

You were, you were born perfectly.

Yeah, exactly.

Perfectly in the eyes of God. Um, Jag is saying hello.

She just joined and was drawn to this. Thanks for joining. So nice to see you.

And she's saying, so very resonating.

We often overlook ourselves.

I think so, so often. And I, I do believe, and the reason I mean, all humans obviously deserve to be healthy, happy, and living, you know, like really living life. I do believe though that women have a harder time sometimes with the putting themselves in too many things because we're nurturers by nature, that it just becomes almost like a habitual addiction. And so how easy is it to say, well, I'm just— I'm busy doing this with the kids, or I'm busy doing this because it has to be done at work, or I'm busy doing this with the house, or I'm busy doing this with my friends? That again, it's overlooking what the self really needs. And really, it's not just the self, it's part of yourself, but it's the soul is just— I mentioned recently, um, to the same girl I was talking with Sunday, like, the soul's under there screaming like, hey, like, listen to me, I just want you to recognize Recognize me, acknowledge me, see me, accept me, you know, feel me. And it's like the soul has the light and the peace and the joy and the bliss and the inspiration and creation and all that we're actually seeking in all these other things. But yet we're so busy and we're so preoccupied with everything else and so avoiding of doing the work and getting down into the soul that we just don't even listen. And then the soul is just like I'm here for you and I want to, to help you and be there for you, but you're too busy, right? We just, we tend to nurture too much outside of us.

We're on that proverbial loop or that train, or it just keeps going, and that's what we do. Or that treadmill, as, as some say. But we children, and we all, are born, are psychic. It's just the conditioning as we grow up and the hammering in of the ego, that's where we lose our natural-born abilities. That's, that's who we are.

That's our GPS. That's where we operate from.

And I think that's probably where we gotten in some pretty sticky situations because we weren't listening to this and we were operating from the ego. Oh yeah, mainly.

I'm sure there's folks out there that, you know, I mean, because really, if you think of anything that is really limiting you from coming into your soul's guidance, it's going to come from a limited— the ego mind of— it's just protecting. But at the same time, that protection is limited. And so getting beyond that, going into the soul, which is limitless. And so with— I, I almost feel like what we have been given on this planet right now is a gift and also, um, a vice. You know, it's like you can take each moment and do what you want with it, but there's all these other distractions. And so it, it takes more from us to discipline ourselves in this day and age to also then create this what I call the new planet, where it's coming from that space of acceptance, right? Yourself. And also what happens then is you start seeing others through acceptance. Because what happens when we're judging? We judge others because it's a reflection of what we're judging within ourselves. So it's that constant battle if you don't come from that place of acceptance. It doesn't mean that you agree, you know, acceptance isn't I agree with everything this person is doing or saying. It's, well, that is who that person is and who am I to not accept them? And I really think that when we can see that we're creating a new planet and showing the future and the kids that like, hey, if I accept myself and this child sees this and they're willing to accept themselves versus say, oh, this is what's wrong with me too, because kids pick all that up too, right? And then those become their stories. And so it's almost our duty to say, how can I go within myself and find this acceptance and connect to it and then experience this inner peace? Because then I'm also spreading that out beyond me, right? It's that ripple effect that's happening to create that new energy.

Definitely. And yeah, just encouraging, uh, just, you know, be yourself. And if you don't understand, then bridge, find the connection, and come from a place of, like you said, curiosity and finding out, finding out more. You might learn something and you might like it.

I think people are so almost afraid of the inner work, and it sounds like dark. I gotta do the inner work and the or, you know, connect with my shadows, or my inner child might be needy or whatever. And there's almost this preconceived fear that it's like heavy and it's hard, and it's like, it's not always easy, but it— and it can be messy. But life isn't always easy and it's messy, and it gives you then something else to work from. And every time that we keep working on, whether it's our nervous system or our, you know, mental awareness or our energy in our system and our emotions, and we start really working with it, it doesn't become so hard. Of course, at first nothing is totally easy because it's new. Oh yeah, I really think that more people need to understand that doing the work doesn't have to be like dark and heavy. It's like on the other side of doing it, there's also this light, you know. It's that the guru within— it's you go through the darkness and then the light is there. And it's always there, it's just sometimes it's really dim.

Yeah, it's, it's there, it's been, it's been buried, it's been— yeah, it's like a, like they say, layers of an onion, if you want to use the onion term in a way. But, uh, yeah, and, and once you do, it's like all the lights come on, boom. Yeah.

And then the universe says, okay, are you ready?

Because guess what?

Yeah, here we go again, here we go.

Uh, Jag is saying love and compassion is key towards ourselves and others.

Yes, definitely.

That's it.

That's pretty much it in a nutshell.

The unconditional of, you know, love of ourselves and radiate that. And, and grace as well, having the grace. That was another big word that I, um, tend to use quite a bit. But, um, so I am going to wrap up in a few minutes, so I just wanted to see if there was anything else you wanted to let us know?

If you have maybe a workshop coming up, or you have a few words you want to impart with us?

Yeah, it's, it's interesting. This year I came in with all these, you know, specific things, like I'm going to do this retreat, this, this, this. And then I recently had this epiphany about creating a women's nonprofit organization. So things are shifting a little bit. And, and it feels really good and aligned, and it, it really is focused on mothers who are struggling with mental and emotional health issues. So, I mean, people can follow me and, and see how that unfolds. I'm like, it's very new, so I just feel like, again, it's the time on this planet that I'm in to create something where women can go to reset and to learn and to connect and without it being once they're broken down, right, or needing to go to an institution or needing to get on medication or have completely lost their complete joy for life, you know, or resent their kids and their family.

It's—

I just know a lot of women that are going through mental and emotional issues that it's not easy. You know, we're in a day and age that we're, again, lots of distractions, lots of energy. Technology, and we tend to kind of lose our footing of our soul and all of that stuff that's around us. Um, so that's exciting. And, um, couldn't tell you what's going to happen there. Whatever this child of the universe creates is what we'll be doing.

Yeah, we'll make sure the links will be available if you guys want to get in touch with her, of course. And I always ask— I didn't ask at the beginning, so you we could think about it, but I think you already answered the question. My— I always ask each guest, what is your dream and how can we collectively make it happen? So it sounds like you're—

I don't know if you have maybe one bigger than that, but, you know, I mean, the dream is really to create a new planet where people are coming from inner peace, because I really think that when you have that sense of self-love and compassion and leaks out to everyone around you. You're not just caring for yourself and creating it, you're caring for the future, for the children, for the planet. Our planet needs so much love and healing. And so I really see this, us creating a new heaven on earth. That's really what it is. And it's— you don't do that through not accepting yourself and constantly seeking and being in anger or fear or hatred. It's like being able to understand that those are there and they're there to show you something underneath them. And what they really need is unconditional love. So that's what I'm sharing. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

There you go.
