Today's youth face a big problem

The youth are facing a huge problem. I've asked hundreds of kids and adults, "What's your dream?" And more often than not, they say a computer scientist, an AI analyst, a dentist. But when I ask why, the reply is always the same: because there's a gap in the market. And that's crazy to me because deep down they wanna be astronauts, inventors, thought leaders, creators, but they've been conditioned to trade their passion for practicality. And before you think I'm blaming teachers, I'm not. Teachers are amazing. I've met so many who actually agree that the system is broken and they're working hard to support kids. They're as trapped as the rigid rules, as the students trying to help, and it's finally time for change. I believe it all starts with simply rephrasing this question. Instead of asking kids what job they want, we should ask what problem they want to solve and give them the tools to solve it. Give them the inspiration, give them the encouragement, get them to daydream more, get them off screens, get them outside, get them grounded, tap into their inner child, reclaim their inner child. I mean, that's a lot of the work that I do already with my clients because it's really sad to have, you know, a 50-year-old person say, I don't even know what my dreams are. I feel like I'm just meant to pay bills and die, and I don't want that for anyone. And truly, it starts with our children.
