Transformation NOT Information (2024)

Christine J. Gold argues that people spend nearly two hours daily consuming information but rarely transform it into action. Real change requires embodied practices like meditation and body-scanning, not more courses. She shares how one woman went from couch-potato to marathon runner and leads a visualization exercise to help you pick a trait to practice daily.

Join me as I take on the challenge of transforming my mindset and my heart and my habits for success, leaving all that information overload behind. Hi again, it's Christine J Gold. I am a medium, mentor, and creator of the Soul Healers Community and the Soul Healers Method. I guide and empaths and highly sensitives to transform their unworthiness, their overwhelm, and their boundaries, especially with narcissists. From there, you will have crystal clear clarity, know who you are at a soul level, and thrive like you've never thrived before. Now I'm not talking about survive either, or existing, not even close. So really, there, here's a stat for you. And according to the McKinsey report, people spend 1.8 hours, so almost 2 hours every day searching and gathering information and reading. And maybe you're on your 25th YouTube video about, let's say, the Akashic Records, for example, or how to stop a monkey mindset. On average, that is almost 10 hours a week. And guess what? They do nothing with the information. So there's no transformation. And what do we want? What do we want? We want transformation. We don't need any more information. Because if you're not doing something with that information, You are basically chasing your tail. You are spouting off all these things that you've learned, but have you actually done the work? Have you actually embodied the practices like meditation, like scanning your body, uh, you know, emotional codes, chakras, uh, working on your intuition, your clairs? Working on your inner child, you know, are you actually doing the work? Are you recording your dreams and keeping a record of them? I mean, these are all huge, and once you start, you cannot stop. So why would you want to just keep reading and not doing anything and having science to confirm everything that you know? Because guess what? You're living in ego. And yes, science has definitely made leaps and bounds, but these are Eastern philosophies and ways of life that the Western world is now just coming around to, that, that is the truth with the capital T. So I'm going to challenge conventional wisdom. I always have. And I want to equip you with the tools you need to thrive in an ever-evolving landscape, especially with artificial intelligence. So don't just learn, transform. I mean, if I gave you a book on how to ride a bicycle and you never got on the bike, what's the point? What is the point? And I really want you to, um, just pay attention, and I want you to have access to more empowering content that I make. It's important. And in today's so-called modern world, we're constantly surrounded by endless streams of information, like maybe this one right now, telling us what to do, how to do it, and when to do it. But let's be real, information alone does not equate to making anything happen. What's missing is the belief the willingness to transform, to take that information and turn it into action, into change, into growth. That's how your goals are met. And many of us get stuck in the hamster wheel, or like I said, the dog chasing its tail of consuming, consuming, consuming, feeling like we're doing something productive, right? But let's get real, you're just spinning your wheels. We buy courses. I used to do that. I know people that do that still. They'll have 10 courses and they haven't even started one. They attend seminars, they read books, and without applying what we've learned, you're not making any real progress. Now, I'm not saying go out and get a certification, get 10 certifications, because that's a whole nother conversation, which I've had before. If you continue to live off of your titles and certifications, that's That is actually a root chakra issue, meaning you don't feel worthy. You've never felt enough, that you don't have enough. And if you have these titles and certifications, then you will appear to others as, ooh, you're an authority. I'm sorry, that's a bunch of BS. We're like a car stuck in neutral, going nowhere fast. And the truth is, transformation requires more than just knowledge. Man, like, I had this conversation with somebody on set. Book smarts and street smarts. You know, a lot of people have either or. It is amazing to have both because that is equilibrium, that is balance, right? And the truth is, with the clients that I've worked with and even with my own transformation, it requires more than just knowledge. It requires effort, dedication, discipline, and a willingness to challenge— here's the big one, pay attention— comfort zones. We've all been there. I get it, stuck in a rut, feeling like we're not living in our potential. This happened a lot last year, like we're in between two worlds. So you could say the old Earth, 3D into the 5D, however you want to label it, or that aligns with how you feel. But we know we— what we should be doing, but somehow we just can't seem to make it happen. So you're at procrastination station, or like one of my other videos, analysis paralysis, right? Or I want to say even overcompensating and debating. Okay, that's a good one. So the power of transformation comes in by doing the work. I've always said intuition is a muscle that must be worked. Uh, it's not about knowing more. Oh my gosh, I mean, do you think Einstein just learned and learned and learned and knew and knew and knew? No, he applied. He failed. He failed. And I want to go to the book here. Great book, by the way. Um, Einstein says, those that have tried nothing new have never made a mistake. Because we feel that if we make a mistake, then there's something wrong with us. We did something bad. There's going to be repercussions. We're going to be shamed and blamed and guilted because it might have happened to you growing up, or it's happened to you in the workplace, or it happened to you in school. I get it, I do. Okay, but you will never expand who you are at a conscious level until you embrace the unknown. Go have fun, practice, and step into transformation. So let's say, for example, have you heard the saying, you are what you eat? Boy, I know that one well. Well, that's not just a phrase, it's reality. When we transform our eating habits, we transform our health. When we transform our exercise habits— like today I was lifting weights and I was sweating because I just Like yesterday was so frustrating and I had to get it out of myself, so I did. I feel so much better. It shifts our energy, it shifts us out of our mindset, because a lot of times we're stuck in this, this— we've got the, the blinders on. You cannot see the big picture if you're like this all the time. And when we transform our mindset and our hearts, we transform our entire lives. The point is transformation is not about doing different things, it's about becoming an evolved and different person. And one of the most powerful transformational stories I've come across is of a woman who went from being a couch potato to running her first marathon in just 6 months. She did just— she didn't just consume information about running, how to run, how to run. She transformed her entire lifestyle. She made a commitment to herself. She changed her diet, her sleep patterns, her daily routine. It all starts with baby steps. She committed to training every day, no matter what. And in the end, she achieved her goal. She also transformed her entire self-perception. She realized she was way more capable and so much more than she ever thought possible. And that's, you know, the ego construct. That's our human selves, identifying that, you know, this is it. Um, and our imagination is so much more expansive, like the universe. We can't even begin to imagine how miracles happen on a daily basis and how expansively conscious we absolutely— and abundant we are. So Here's another story. A business owner who transformed his company from near bankruptcy to multimillion-dollar success stories. I mean, he just didn't consume the information. I mean, I think of Rich Dad Poor Dad. He, yeah, he wrote the book, but he actually lived the life. He was committed to innovation, to taking risks because he saw what was happening with his father, who was a limited mindset. He pushed beyond his limits. And in the end, he not only saved his company, he transformed the lives of his employees and his customers. And how can you not be inspired by that, right? So I want to take a deeper dive into the concept of transformation. One of the most powerful insights I've gained is that transformation is not a one-time event, just like healing. It's not. It's the same thing. It's a continuous process spiraling up. If you feel you're going down, there— here comes your self-awareness and, and looking at yourself. And really, it's about waking up every day. Thank you, thank you for waking me up today. I have the gift of life. Gratitude. Being committed to becoming better, to growing, to evolving. It's about embracing the unknown. I embrace it all, especially living as a digital nomad. I take risks more than people are aware of, and pushing beyond our limits. And when we do that, we open ourselves to new possibilities, new opportunities, and new levels of anything, whatever success means to you. And one of the most powerful case studies are the women that I work with, are the people that are committed in my 12-week and 1-year mentorships, where, for example, Catherine out of France, or Cat— hi Cat, if you're listening or watching— She was in a toxic workplace full of narcissists, especially her boss, and she was caught up in that entanglement. And I remember asking her for a profile picture, um, to go with her testimonial, and I realized that her picture was from, you know, when we just started working the year before. And I asked her, do you have an updated picture? Let me tell you the light and dark transformation I mean, she tried to quit on me and herself a couple times, but we went through it. I mean, how does a lotus grow? In the mud. We got into the mud, we got into the muck, we got into it. We went to those places that sometimes I'm like, I don't really know if I want to go there. And I'm sure she was thinking the same thing. But we went, we did, we, you know, we came, we did, we saw, and she, and she transformed right before my eyes. And now she has her own thriving business called Blue Midlife, and it's a career and skills coach, and she has a podcast. She's an amazing soul. Um, if you want her information, let me know, I'll connect you. But, uh, really it was about changing her self-perception in her habits and her daily routine and being committed. And it's really important to have somebody with you, uh, a mentor in your transformation process, because like I've said, in a world of information, that is not what we need. We want— we crave transformation. And it's not about reading another book. I mean, why is divorce— is— why is it at the highest percentage increase in 50 years? Obesity is getting worse. Mental health year over year is getting worse. Technology speeds up year by year. Information speeds up year by year. The world population increases year by year. So why is the demand for coaching so big? Because you need some— you need— you really do need someone. This is a life transformation. A need is a basic necessity, you know, shelter, water, food. And I will include mentorship and mentors and someone who will guide you to your next level, because you just didn't come here to pay bills and die. Right? Who's with me here? Who is with me? So I thought I'd take this moment and talk about, um, a simple embodiment practice. You want to join me? I, I just invite you to close your eyes, and we're really going to challenge the imagination, expand on the imagination. At a soul level. I want you to picture and feel who you aspire to be. Maybe there's someone in your life that inspires you that motivates you, that you want to be like them? And it could be anybody. It could be anybody in the world— a singer, a dancer, your mom. It doesn't matter. Just picture them in front of you, smiling and having fun and really living, living. Now, what's one piece from their life that you are going to embody? Is it their smile? Is it their laugh? Is it their curiosity? Is it their perseverance? Is it their talent? Maybe they have a talent. And how can you showcase that to yourself? So what's one thing that you can do today, like right now, where you're going to embody it? Meaning you already are, you just have to practice. So if that— if this person smiles a lot, for some reason I'm getting someone that smiles a lot, then you're going to go to the mirror and you're going to smile. And when you see strangers, you're going to smile. And when you see anything, you're going to smile. Yes. And it will make people wonder, what are you up to? And it doesn't matter. You, you transform them wondering what you're up to. Do you see how this is an embodiment? So this is just one example Take what you want and leave the rest. I challenge you to go do this now. Put this in your calendar. Put this as part of your daily routine in the morning or in the evening. Write it down, journal it, share it below. I would love to know. Um, thank you, Spirit, for always delivering, uh, when needed. And yes, I, I feel the biggest piece here is saying yes to you. I'm speaking to you wherever you are in the world, whatever you're doing or not doing. I want you to be being whatever challenges you are going through. Losses, grief, stress, overwhelm, anxiety, depression, addictions, abuse of any kind. Remember, you're not alone. All right, well, I want to thank you for showing up today, and if there's something that really stood out, uh, feel free to comment below, share this out as well, and maybe tag someone that, um, you feel they need to embody today. All right, well, take care of yourself, and until next time, sending you lots of love.
