Short transcript excerpt of a conversation (May 15, 2024) featuring Chris Wiser discussing business ownership challenges: hiring and properly compensating staff, hiring full-time roles, delegating non-productive tasks, and cultivating a resourceful, committed mindset. The exchange references a keynote given by Wiser and praises risk-taking that aligns with vision.
Hiring the right people. Yes, but properly compensating them, making sure you're bringing them in for full time roles, delegating off to things that aren't productive for you.
Right.
I talked in my keynote this morning specifically about the things that I struggle with and evolving ourselves to be better business owners. And I think all of that kind of plays in. Any thoughts from.
Well, I feel like part of your success in hearing your talk today is you're like you're going to be resourceful, you're going to find a way because you, you're committed, you, you call it like you're willing to take risks, but I think they're very calculated because they're within your vision and what you're going to do. And because you're so committed and resourceful, you don't let money stop you from doing something extraordinary.
Or actually very spot on.
That's what. So I just, I was watching that. Being like that is what I would teach. But you were living it and expressing it and being it for us to even be in the room.
