Hi, I'm Chrystal Hurst.
And I'm Karris.
And we're the same age.
This is our annual— this has been— is this the third year? This is the third year.
Fourth year. I don't know. Third year, fourth year. My memory is bad.
Okay, well anyway, that's because you're getting older. You're 30. If I'm getting older—
Stop it!
Anyway, so we do this every year just because we don't even know why. Like, really, we don't know why. It's just fun.
Why not?
And you know what, I actually like to see people giving their Christmas suggestions, but oftentimes they're not my favorite things. So I just thought I would start sharing my favorite things because people would ask me— don't people ask you, like, what do you use for this? What do you love? No?
Yeah, I guess.
Well, I have favorite things. So we wanted to share some things that are our favorites or that we've used throughout the year, some things we've come to love, both Karris and I, and a little fun, a little foolery. But you have to behave.
Like I said, I'm not making any promises. It's late, you know. I'd usually be gearing up to get in the bed by now.
I get silly.
My filter is a little—
The later it gets, I get silly.
Both of us, the more tired I get, the sillier I get. So, as I said, no promises. No promises.
Well, here's the thing. Tonight we are live. So if you are joining us live, you need to understand that tonight is actually what we would normally call a sister session in the Inner Circle, which is a membership that I have that allows girls to grow in community. We normally once a month have a Tuesday night session, and we decided to put our Christmas collection— we've done it at 7 o'clock in the morning in the past, we've done it in the middle of the day, we've pre-recorded it, we've done it live, and tonight we're doing it live and having some special fun with our Inner Circle. So we're glad you're here. The good news is there will be some live giveaways tonight. The good news is, is that if you don't win tonight, you still have opportunities to win by following the The Sister Circle, uh, online on Instagram. The Sister Circle online, like that's a part of the name. The Sister Circle online on Instagram. And then starting tonight, I believe we'll be sharing in the story some giveaways.
And then if you don't win, then I would just like to interrupt to say I know that there is a Sister Circle show, but, uh, my mom was the first to come up with that name. And so I just wanted to say that she is the greatest of all time. Thank you very much. Just had to have a Kanye moment there. Thank you.
Oh, oh, oh. So then if you don't win this week, then even after that, there'll be one big giveaway. We'll announce the winner on Saturday for everyone who's been participating all week long. So if you haven't yet gone to my Instagram, Chrystal Hurst, or the Sister Circle online Instagram. You want to do that before, you know, before the night is over, because that's where all the instructions are for all the other things to win all the other prizes. But if you just sit here tonight with your onesie or your pajamas, I hope you don't have your bra on because it's too late at night for that. Then make sure that you've got something hot to drink, something cold, whatever's your fancy, and just hang back and relax while we talk. That is kind of cool. I don't want to mess— it's hot.
You're hot.
I'm saying if I do that, I'll be hot. Oh Lord, it's tangled up in here.
It's the balls. Look, see, I was talking about—
I raised her well. I promise. I raised her well.
I don't know what you talking about. I'm talking about these right here.
I don't know what you talking about. I raised her well. That's what you need to know. In the fear and admonition of Jesus Christ. That's what I did.
I love Jesus.
Tell her to stop, y'all. Tell her to stop.
I'm fine.
Okay, so we have— we're going to try not to take 3 hours for this.
In fact, yeah, because I got to go to bed.
I got to wake up.
I got kids.
You got kids? How many kids do you have?
I have 3 kids under 5.
I have 5 kids. Over 5.
No, she has only 2 in the house.
No, I have 5 children.
Are you kidding me? Yes, I'm just saying you have only 2 in the house.
Like, what does that have to do with anything? You still call me every day. The other one is sucking my bank account dry. They still count. They still count. Oh yeah, you're right. Okay, so let's dive in. So again, pay attention. We're going to be giving some things away live and then make sure you follow Chrystal Hurst. What is so funny?
I'm sorry. This is just gonna be fun.
It's just gonna be fun. We're not even getting— okay, let's go. Let's go. All right, the foolery has begun. So, Orama, let's start with— oh, let's start— oh, let me just say this up front. I'm sorry in advance. If you are not in the US, whatever you win, You can't win. I can't. Do you know how much the shipping is to send stuff overseas right now?
I mean, I can't. I could imagine.
See, and she actually, y'all, she actually does for real partnerships and collaborations and like all that. Me? I just bought the stuff and I'm just giving it away.
No, I'm not doing no collaborations. Everything I am suggesting is because I actually like it.
You would not do this if this was not a bunch of collaborations though.
—like myself? Exactly.
So anyway, so I already had to do that, y'all. The $50, $70 shipping, I can't do it. So if you're here and you're overseas, I love you very much, and we still have something for you. Is the webpage live? Like, it's live, they can go there now? So if you have to drop off because you're sleepy, you can go to chrystalevanshurst.com/myfaves where you will have a beautiful PDF of all of the things we're going to talk about tonight. So if you're just like, just give me the list, I cannot deal with y'all in the foolery, just go to chrystalevanshurst.com/myfaves and download the PDF. So at least international peeps, you got that. All right, so let's start out with simplifying life because you have a million kids, I have a million kids, you are my kid who brings your kids over. We need to simplify life. One of my favorite things is Plan to Eat.
Yes, which you actually gifted me last Christmas. I sure did. For a year, and I was using it yesterday.
So let me tell you why Plan to Eat is amazing. It is an online internet service where you can put all of your recipes in online, which is a lifesaver when you're in the grocery store and you know there's something you want to cook and you didn't make a grocery list, but you have it on your phone. Not only does it save your list, you can easily share your list You can print your lists and you can drag and drop all of the things that you want to eat this week into a menu and it makes your grocery list for you.
See, that's not even the best part. The best part for me is that I can take my #Scrumdillyumptious board off of Pinterest. Yes. And I can literally like put the link into—
And it sucks up the recipe.
Yes. And then it makes a perfect recipe and list right there and the pictures there and everything. So everything is just in one place and I can actually make— because half the things off my Pinterest I never make because it's not convenient because I have to go to the Pinterest and then it's a lot.
Yes, but you can suck it in. Planning It is great. And then you can save boards. So I have a board where it's all the things I want to try and those are separate. So then I'm like, it's like taste and see. I haven't done that yet. And then once I try it, I haven't unlocked that level of cooking. I mean, I'm just saying. So anyway, I bought her a year subscription. It's not ridiculously expensive, but it literally can change your whole situation when you have to fix dinner every day. Okay, so here is the next thing I want to talk about that I absolutely love. I happen to know Karris loves it too, and this is a giveaway, so get ready to leave a comment, and I'll tell you what to do in a minute. What do you have?
I have a story about this that actually just happened today. Go ahead, tell us. Audible. So today I was listening to my Christian romance on Audible in the car, and Emphasis on Christian. Christian romance, the best kind. When I picked up Ellie, it was still playing in the background, and I'll just say I should have paused it because it was Christian. It was Christian, but it was still romance. So, and they were married. That's all I'll say. So when you get Audible— who are you reading, The Red Tent? No, not The Red Tent. It was a new book by Karen Kingsbury.
Oh, it's holy. It's holy. It is holy.
Oh, it's nothing but just, you know, she's 5. So I'll say when you get Audible, and you're listening to all of your great Christian romance books, just make sure that you pause it before your kids get in the car.
So Audible is a lifesaver if you don't think you like to read, because then you can read on the go, in the car, while you walk. And when you hear people say that they've read like 50 books, 100 books a year, it is highly likely that the way that they are getting that done is by listening. Yeah. Okay. And you can listen. I go faster. I do like 1.5 speed. So then I can— That's how she talks to you now.
Because she's listened to so many things on like— Like double speed? 2 speed. She now talks like this. Hello. Hi. Hi, Karris. Okay. I need you to— I need you to come to the house today because I'm going to— That's how you talk.
No, I don't. Yes, you do. Anyway, can I get a show of hands in this room? No show of hands. There are no hands going up all over the room. There are 12 people in here. Okay, so here's the deal. If you would like to win a free Audible credit so you can try out Audible, or if you already have it, you can get a free book, here's what you need to do in the comments. You need to drop the name of your favorite book in the comments. That's it. So just start commenting away, and we'll be back to you in just a second to tell you who is the winner of that Audible credit. And actually, if you're international, this can be for you because it's digital. Hallelujah, no postage. Okay, the next thing I've never used this. An air fryer. Now I have only used it one time. Yes. Now let me tell you why we, why we have this. We have this for two reasons. You got to lower it down so people can see it, like right here. There you go. Oh, okay. So we have this for two reasons. Okay, number one, um, Monique, if you've been following me for any length of time, who was a member of the team, founding member, TAC She is an air fryer fanatic, so much so that she had multiple and left us one in the office. Gotta tilt it this way. And so every now and then, the only thing that I've used an air fryer for is to warm up garlic bread from Olive Garden, because apparently warming things up in the air fryer is an act of God. But someone, Uncle David, gave Daddy an air fryer. Oh no. And I told my husband, we don't have room for that. You know how you have appliances everywhere in your kitchen?
Does he have it in his man cave now?
He has it in his man cave. And every now and then I go into his man cave and I just smell— he's cooking up there all the time.
It's a man cave.
He loves it. What do you expect? It's a man cave. Now I have heard people love their air fryers for fried wings and there's a whole slew of recipes on YouTube. So if you're looking for an appliance that will help you to air fry food in a fast and convenient way, Or you want to give your husband a way to cook without messing up your whole kitchen. Or you want to give your husband an appliance that he can keep in his man cave. I have a very important question.
What? Does air frying like reduce the calories?
In theory, I think we're going this way. This is going this way. In theory, I don't know. Is that what it does? Is that what air fryer does? That's really my main question about all of this. You're supposed to be healthier, but you still eat french fries.
Is it still fried? Less oils?
Less oils. That's what they say. But if you eat more of the thing that has less oil on it, then really, have you saved any calories? It's a cruel world. It's a cruel world. So anyway, man gift, easy to operate, and they love appliances. Okay, the next thing before we get back to the giveaways for Audible is HelloFresh. Why don't you talk about HelloFresh?
Yes, HelloFresh. I actually really like HelloFresh because I don't have to think about dinner. Or at least you think about it in advance, you choose your little meals on the website, they send you the box. And then it's like all the ingredients right there in the perfect amount, perfect for your family. Typically there are no leftovers, so nothing goes to waste. You just have your meal for 2 or 4 or 6 or whatever, and it's delicious and it's healthy and everything is there and the instructions are easy. And I'm all about ease of use these days. And so— Do your kids like it? Oh yeah, definitely. They say, "Mom, you're the best cooker." When I eat this food. Cooka. JT.
Mom, you're the best cooka. That's what I'm gonna start saying. You're the best cooka. But cooka is gonna mean a lot of things apart from that. You're just gonna walk in the house and I'm gonna say, hey cooka. Please don't. Cooka. That's what you— it's like cookie. Like you would call somebody like a passion pet name. Hey cooka. Isn't that funny? Did you just snort it?
Moving on.
You just snorted it.
No, I did not snort it.
We have a winner. For our Audible? I saw y'all blowing up the chat over here. Awesome. Awesome. I want to see the chat. I'll put it, I'll put my phone right here. Look at God. See, look, you look great on camera. Look at you. Amazing. Are y'all choosing one for me? Yeah. Eh, eh.
And the winner is Andrea Marbur.
Eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh. I'm making up a song. I said it wrong?
That's not the winner? Marburg?
That's the winner. Andrea Marburg, you're the winner. And then what are we doing? Hello? Okay, so Andrea, Andrea, Andrea, it could be any one of those. What you need to do, we have your name, email us at hello@chrystalevanshurst.com and we will tell you what you need to do in order to get your free Audible situation. Congratulations. Congratulations. Okay, so now we have some special sponsors. I have sponsors. Wow. For the inner circle that we wanted to mention that we're really excited about. Okay, so number one, well, you're gonna love this. I've taught you well. They're not really sponsors. I mean, they gave me something.
Well, as I said, no, I need to, I need to have paid sponsors.
I'm going to graduate to be— I mean, your status is the first step. Is that the first step? Free stuff is certainly first step.
Oh, how cute.
And this top comes off, so it's just storage.
It's like a tote. Oh, mom needs lots of storage.
Yeah, so you could take someone a meal in this. This could go in your car for all your little kids. Oh, this is fantastic.
Yes, it is fantastic. I'm telling you. This is wonderful.
So this is from— you know, we're a few— bag toting people.
Yeah, well, no, I was gonna say we're just a few—
Stop. Stop. Okay, you about to call me a hoarder? Yes.
I am not a hoarder. I'm just going to say we're just—
I believe in keeping meaningful things. Everything. Okay, so this is from 31 Bags, and so a wonderful friend and a friend of our inner circle and also a friend of mine personally, Miss Dana. This is a customizable, cute, and affordable bag from 31 Bags. It was Dana's, the distributor So if you're looking for something that you can customize and give, there's lots of different kinds of bags, lots of different sizes. But I thought that this would fit me because I'm always carrying a bunch of stuff. So that's a great idea, something that you can personalize.
I will say she's not a messy hoarder. It's not a gross thing. Why are we talking about a hoarder?
I'm not a hoarder.
I'm not a hoarder. And organized, like, I have 5 kids. Everything is filed really well.
I'm not a hoarder. Do you know what people think about when they think hoarder?
No, that's why I said it's not a messy hoarder. It's not a gross thing. It's just— People have associations.
Association with that word. We don't want to use that word.
Okay. King Jesus Season 3.
Listen, and by the way, our special sponsors this time— I didn't say this clearly— these are from the members of our inner circle. We actually asked our members because we were like, do you— some of our members are business owners or have products. Yeah, we were like, what do you have that we can share? So this is a King Jesus care package. So why don't you open this up, Antoinette? Green shared this with us. And basically, if you, you know, everybody wants to wear something, somebody, they want to wear Michael Jordan, you want to wear, you know, your Currys, like all that different stuff. Well, this allows you to wear Jesus. Somebody say, wear Jesus. Seriously, like if you want to be able to have a— this is a cute keychain. Yeah, keychain. It's just basically it's Jesus paraphernalia.
We've got a super cute bracelet. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. You want to pull out something?
Yeah, there's a pen in here. So it's kind of different. Very cute. And definitely for somebody who is— Notepad. Yeah, just stuff that has King Jesus on it. Water bottle, key ring, pens, bracelet, and notepad. Yep, we got it all. So we will put a link to that in the PDF also that you will get, remember, after the show airs. Go to chrystalevanshurst.com/myfaves for more information. Now here's what you need to know, I'm going to be giving out code words. So whether you're watching this live or whether you're watching this on the replay, make a note of the code words because the giveaways will be happening on Instagram with the Sister Circle online account. And so we're just going to be putting things up in the story and you will be DMing us with the code word. So you want to keep track of them. Put them in your Apple Notes, or what do these Android people out here in the streets use if they don't have Apple Notes? Debbie, what is the version? She called a name. What is the version of Apple Notes for Android people? Google Keep. She named it. If that's how you choose to live your life, then so be it. But anyway, ooh, the shade. Or a piece of paper and a pencil. So Here's the code word for that gift: Joy to the World, or code phrase.
I think they had it before you said it because they were going off in the comments.
They're going off. Okay, so there we go. All right. So that just felt fun. Yeah, that was fun.
I want to do the next one. Let me do this.
Okay. So anyway, all right. So we're giving away that box. Now, here is something I'm so excited about. Because not only is this from a member of our inner circle, this is a member from one of our interns who is actually in her second year. She's decided to stay with me. Okay, and the packaging is amazing. Look at this. So these are handmade soaps. They smell good. When you open the paper, you can immediately smell. Okay, so the creator's name is Dana, and she— her company is Beautiful Soap Soap, soap. See the play on words there? And when I tell you it's gorgeous. Oh, wow. And she hand makes them. This is like her passion project. She is an awesome creator. She's a graphic designer. Like, she could do a lot of things. But I just— this is the thing. She's made earrings, right? She's made graphics. But this right here, and look at this. Like, she puts real stuff at the top of her soaps. I mean, it's amazing. This one is tea tree. Yeah, amazing. Yeah, that tea tree is amazing. Wow. So definitely you can find your favorite flavors or scents, send it to someone, or if you have like a guest bathroom and you want to just have pretty soaps that people don't actually use, there you go. That's what you can do. Those are pretty. So that's another one. Now, um, that particular item is going to be a part of our big giveaway. So basically, if you follow the instructions on my Instagram page— and let me tell you what they are, by the way. You need to be following or subscribe to the YouTube channel, following Chrystal Hurst on Instagram, following the Sister Circle online page, and on either one of those Instagram pages, tag 3 of your friends. That's how you will be entered to win the big prize. So that's one of the items that is in the giveaway at the end of the week. Okay, I've mentioned the Inner Circle. We've shared 3 of the items that we have from our Inner Circle sponsors. If you're interested in learning more about the Inner Circle, all you need to do is go to Chrystal Evans Hurst chrystalhurst.com/innercircle. Now there are multiple levels and there's only one, it's like the starter level that's always open. The other levels only open at certain times a year. The next time it opens is January 1st. So you can go there now and when you're at the entry level, the co-producer level, what that allows you to do is watch me live for lots of fun and foolery every Monday morning. And if If you are not in there, that's fine. You just watch the buttoned-up versions of the replays. But that's the way that you can get in the door. And then we open the doors for all the other levels on January 1st. We love our Inner Circle members. Okay, let's move on. Let's talk about self-care and massages. You and I have a problem with massages. We really do.
We really do. If I was on a deserted island and the only— and I can only bring one thing, It would be a masseuse.
100%. You need a table as well as the masseuse?
I can lay in the same bed.
Mm-mm. Okay. All right. Well, praise the Lord. Not your husband, not your children, not your mother. A masseuse.
I would train my husband in the art of masseusism, and I would have him take classes, and then we would go to the deserted island together. And but he would only act as a masseuse.
I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. He would be there for other things as well. So what happened is I bought my husband a membership. I'm ignoring her. To Massage Envy years ago. And he was, he didn't use, he went once and then he didn't use them. He didn't use the membership. And so I went and you know, they won't let you transfer a membership. They won't let you do it. But I went and said, listen, my husband can't use it. He's actually not been well. I said, is there any way that we can transfer? And my plan was to stop it and then to use the ones he hadn't used. Uh-huh. That was like 5 years ago. I'm still— still getting— oh my God. And the point is this, I was like, why did I make it my business to make sure he had a massage, and I didn't do that for myself because you are selfless. But the point is this: you need to be self-care oriented, whatever that means for you. And for us, massage has been a regular— like, it has been— I've seen health benefits from it, actually. It's very good for you for a lot of reasons. So I have a Massage Envy gift card that will be a part of— nope, What are we doing with that? We're just sharing it? We're not doing anything with it? Okay, I'm just sharing it. Massage anywhere. Here's what you need to do. You need to go, you need to go on Google and Google massage. No Google. Go ahead. Google massage and then look at the ratings and read the reviews.
That is very true. It's very crucial. Because people are serious about their massages and you probably will see my mom under every massage place in a 50-mile radius. I don't use my real name. Well, if you see a name pop up under every single massage place in a 100-mile radius of Dallas, Texas, it is Chrystal Hurst.
Not true. Not true. No, but seriously, treat your body right. Take care of yourself because there's only one you. Okay, next item. This candle is amazing. Smell that, girl. You're not ready. You're not ready. That's so good. Okay, so this item— wow, I know, it's amazing. So someone sent this to us, actually one of the members of our inner circle said you need to know about this candle. So this is not from an inner circle member, but it is from a friend of one. It's called In Our Arms, and then this is Breathe. So not only is this a wonderful candle, but listen to this story, okay? This is— this was made by— these are made by a lady named Julie Henderson. So she was a mother of a child with disabilities and her child passed away at 18. So she created this candle specifically to help other mothers with children of special needs. So it's a fundraiser, basically. When you purchase these candles, you're giving to a good cause. Her team at the In Our Arms blog writes weekly to encourage these families. Okay, and on the website, not only can you purchase a candle, but you can also buy a candle to donate to the many families that they are connected to. I don't know what's happening right now.
Josh is in the comments.
Where you at, baby? Hi! Oh God, Jesus help! No men allowed, Josh.
Let me just Oh, let me untick this a little bit. I got to take out the soap I stole. I'm taking that home.
She's always stealing stuff. I really am. How am I supposed to give you stuff for Christmas? It's not stealing if it's from your mom. But it's, it's not from your mother. That is like a rule. It's not from your mother if you're taking it. Potato, potato.
Wow. Back to the candle. Back to the candle.
So this is a great smelling candle with a great smelling cause. Great smelling. That has a— that supports a great cause. Yes, it does. Made by a woman who is dedicated to serving other women who either have children with disabilities or have suffered loss of their children. So check this out. And the candle smells really good. I mean, it really is amazing. And I'm a candle connoisseur as well. Is that how you say it? Bergamot? Bergamot? We don't know. Bergamot.
You know what I'm trying to say. Honeysuckle, jasmine, and lavender. It just smells like soft.
It smells like done well. It's a done well candle because, you know, all candles are not created equal. And it's not like too strong. No. So we will make sure that this is in that PDF. Don't forget when this is over, go to chrystalevanshurst.com/myfave so that you can grab that. We're not done with this page. We're not done with this page. Are we done with this page? Yes. No, we were— go, go do it. Okay, so now I'm really excited about this next thing. The other one of the other things that I love is a good body butter! But wait, wait, okay? Yeah, go ahead and take the label off and sample it. Sample it, touch it, feel it just a little bit. And then I cannot wait to tell you something— ooh-ooh!
It's made with baby skins. Ahhh!
Okay, let me screw the top. Okay, no, I'm getting a massage with this. Let me screw. Ah, that's up for us, baby. Let me screw the top back on for you. Why don't you read the top? Refresh. You have your own body butter.
Woo! Chrystal Hurst has joined the chat, ladies and gentlemen. Ew! Ooh, that just smells— yes, that smells right.
And you see, she loved it before she never bought it again. She's gonna be rubbing Chrystal Hurst's face all up.
I bought it.
Jesus. Jesus. Okay, I'm sorry. Ooh, that smells so good.
Put that over here with the, with the, uh, but no, can I have that back?
Okay, so y'all, y'all know I love, you know, I love smelling good. And for the longest time, you know, we've talked about the Black Woman Oil, which the Black Woman Oil still exists. Oh, hilarious. But y'all, I found something that I loved and I wanted to share it with you. This only has shea butter, coconut oil, vitamin E, almond oil, and a fragrance in it. That's it. And it smells wonderful. So it's refresh and it has my name on the label. Super exciting. Very exciting. I know you can't take it. So anyway, yeah. Oh, so that's gonna go in the big basket that we give away. Big basket. The big giveaway at the end of the week. So remember, you have to follow, subscribe, and share. Those are the 3 things. Can y'all see how I'm glistening? You look very oily. Okay, so here's another thing that we're going to be giving away. Now this has a code, so keep in mind, uh, the Cultivate What Matters situation. Yay! Now look at this box. Oh wow, that's so pretty. Okay, so now y'all know I believe in planning, and you know I believe—
she's like, I'm like looking at everything.
Wow, all she's trying to decide is what she's taking. But so basically, this is a planner if you need like a step— not— you're not ready to plan like your days or your weeks or your months, but you're ready to think about who you want to be and what your life should be like and how you're gonna get there. This planner, Cultivate What Matters, is gorgeous. It's beautiful, and it leads you step by step to walk you through your year. So if you don't need like a what am I doing today day planner, but what am I— what are my intentions? What are my purposes? I mean, it's amazing. And every year, it's like, what are your important to-dos? What are you excited about? What are you hopeful for? It's designed to help you get to the core of what your values are and what's important to you. And let me tell you, Laura Casey is an amazing human being. She has created an amazing product, and every year it just gets better and better and more and more beautiful. And let me just say, These are not cheap at all. So this is an Instagram giveaway. I mean, like, it's quality. You see the quality?
Yes. I mean, like, quality.
You got pockets, all that. So here is the code.
One year she gave it to me and then took it back.
I did, because you weren't using it. You're right.
I'm more of a day-by-day person.
Okay. You should think about your life in general, though. The code for this is Winter Wonderland. Okay. Winter Wonderland. And this is one of those items that we'll be sharing on Instagram. Now, the fun thing is this, this is one of the ones that will just be available to our inner circle people. So if you're an inner circle member on Instagram, when you see this, be sure and share the code because we're looking to give this away to an inner circle member.
Okay. Does it come in different colors?
Yes. Oh, nice. With lots of paraphernalia in a box that I'm not going to show you because then you'll steal it. Okay, this is really silly. Mountain Valley water. That's not silly at all. Everybody sees me with these green doggone bottles.
Do y'all know that the water that Jesus talks about in the Bible, the living, the living water?
That's living water. No, no, I was sitting there really thinking you were going. That's not the gospel. I'm sorry. Wow. I'm lying. Okay, so people always— But it's pretty close. People always see me with a green bottle in our hand, and here's the story behind that. So when my mom was sick, she was told to drink— and we all know we should drink alkaline water— but the thing is, there's actually only a few companies that produce bottled water that's alkaline naturally, like it comes out of the ground that way. And this is one of those companies. So if you know of somebody who's trying to get healthy, I'm ready to heal people. Like, you can literally get a subscription to have— I mean, they have different sizes and all that kind of stuff— have the water delivered to them. And literally ever since 2019, my whole family, we all drink this water.
Yeah, Josh is like, every time we get more bottles, he's like, what?
Like, why? Kind of addicted.
What do you do with What do you do with the empty glasses?
I recycle them. They will pick them up. Where do they go? When they come and deliver more water, they will pick them up.
We only have a paper bin and a regular trash bin.
You just— when they come to get— deliver new water bottles.
No, I put them out every single time. They don't take them. They only take my big jug.
Then you have to ask them to take them. Communication really is important.
Next time I'll be like—
on his truck. OK, so anyway, I know that seems like a small thing, but here's the thing, y'all. For Christmas, sometimes we work really hard to get really creative. When what someone wants is really, really simple, something that they would never get for themselves. So there you go. All right, so this is—
subscriptions are great gifts.
Subscriptions are great, great gifts. Okay, this is the tea, y'all.
Sorry, Paris, it just came out.
No, that's what you say when you're 10. I'm sorry. So uncouth. Okay, this is Red Refresh herbal tea. Herbal tea. Herbal tea. Herbal tea. Herbal tea. And the reason I'm sharing this, it's one of those small things, okay? This is my favorite tea. I drink this all the time. When I say I'm drinking hibiscus tea when I'm going live or I'm talking, it's this tea. Like, I love this tea. And I'm sharing this because this is— people want to know, but also because, again, the small gifts, the simple things— is that what's in your cup? That's what was in my cup, that red, that red tea. Yeah, it's the small simple things. If you just pay attention. What does someone do consistently and regularly that you can give them plenty of? If somebody gave me 12 of these joints— joint— what am I saying? Joint— what? I was trying to say something, it didn't come out right. So if somebody gave me 12 of these boxes—
I'm just kidding, Mom, we love you—
I would be happy because I use it all the time. So it turns red? It's a red tea. It's a red flower. Okay, so whatever. And for those of y'all who wondered, when you see the yellow circles in the chat, in the comments— I saw somebody else asking about that earlier— those are Inner Circle members who are saying, "Hi, I'm here," and they're tossing their Inner Circle. Okay, let's move on to study. Y'all, this is one of my favorite things. Let me tell you why. Okay, so I was at a church and the pastor, one of the pastors, quoted Colossians. And then they said, we want you to study the book of Colossians. We were visiting a church. He said, I want you to study the book of Colossians. He said, and in the hallway we have book, the book of Colossians for you available for sale. It was $3 for a little tiny book. But here's what you need to know. Look at this. It came— I thought it was just a one-off. Not only are they beautiful, and they— the one I bought was black. Wow. But they are gorgeous.
Each book of the Bible. Each book of the Bible.
Look at that. Each book of the Bible. So if you want to read this— can you steal a Bible? No, you cannot. So I love this so much. You can't. And then here's the wonderful thing. You can read it, and then there's plenty of room for you to write notes in it, journal in it, whatever. And if you just wanted to read a book of the Bible, you just take this with you. So this is just the New Testament. There's a whole nother larger box for them.
And there's like even space, like, is there—
is every single page— yes, every single page gives you space to write for notes. And they're just gorgeous. Aren't they pretty? I mean, look at this. No, this is— they're gorgeous. They're gorgeous. Now they just have black, so if you're thinking that you want to buy a set for the man in your life— and then again, these individual books, like, I just bought my kids the book of 1 John.
They have the, the Old Testament as well.
The box for the Old Testament is like this big. Oh wow. Like, we can put it up here. Oh yeah. So like, it's a whole thing. So the boys and I right now are reading through— but I can try— Colossians, and they each have one of these. They have black, I have the pretty one, and we're just walking through it and reading it, and I'm asking them to make notes as they read. So it's a way— and it's not like you don't have to carry a big old thick Bible with you everywhere. This is amazing. Isn't that amazing? And it's Beautiful, beautiful.
This is what's getting me, guys, is that each page has— so you can write journals.
Yes, like not a sidebar, full notes.
Can you please give me this for Christmas?
I can't, you keep stealing things.
I can't. Well, I can't steal— this is too big for me.
And you can't steal the Bible, there's that. I mean, we could probably— I mean, look at it, comes in a beautiful case. Isn't this beautiful? It really is. It's great. It's great. I mean, it's just great in general. So that is the ESV Illuminated Scripture, and they call it the Scripture Journal. It's the ESV Illuminated Scripture Journal. So me and the boys— wow, they're always fantastic. They're always reading. We're always reading the Bible together, and this gives them a— some— something really small they can throw in their backpack. But what would I be? What kind of daughter would I be? What kind of Christian would I be if I talked about the ESV Illuminated Scripture Journal And not— and here's y'all, you're not ready for this. You're not ready for this. You are not ready for this, honey.
Oh, she got a Chrystal Hurst Bible edition. That's how I imagine she danced at her college parties. Uh-uh.
Y'all, I almost peed on my— well, I did pee on myself, but I almost peed on myself. I promise I did not say, can you make a yellow Bible? I promise I didn't know they had a yellow Bible. I just said we should give away a Tony Evans Study Bible, and there is a yellow one. Sister Circle, doggone yellow. That what that means. I mean, it is God's Sister's Dome yellow, the Sister Circle. That's what that means. Can I say that? I'm just saying, of all the colors that— I mean, who does a yellow Bible? Tony Evans, that's who. It's because he loves you. He didn't have nothing to do with no yellow color of the Bible. Anyway, now here is the wonderful thing about this. Y'all not ready for this. This is a right now YouTube Live giveaway. We're giving this away right now. You want to throw the paper? Okay, not only are we giving away, uh, this Bible, but we are giving away 1 year of the Tony Evans Training Center. What? 1 year of the Tony Evans Training Center. If you don't know what that is, Tony Evans of course teaches the Bible, but he has a whole, uh, platform where you can walk through learning the Bible with his teachings. And we're giving away 1 year plus, plus this Bible. Oh, we're not giving away the Bible? Oh, I am giving away the Bible. Am I missing anything? Is that it? So here's what you need to do. This is easy. Drop the name of your favorite book of the Bible in the comments. Matthew. You're not in the comments. So this Tony Evans Study Bible in Sister Circle Yellow. Can I claim that the Tony Evans Study Bible is in Sister Circle Yellow? With one year of the Tony Evans Training Center. Is that not a good gift? I think it is. All right. We're going to keep going and we'll come back to the winner for that in just a minute. Now, here is another gift if you want to study and learn about the Bible. Simple Seminary. Okay, Simple Seminary. I have a friend and she has, along with another friend of mine, created an online training center for women. So if you think, I would love to go to seminary, I would love to know more about the Word of God, they started an organization called Simple Seminary where literally you are getting a seminary training because she's seminary trained. Her dad is a pastor, he's seminary trained. The other teachers are seminary trained, and you're getting the seminary training for a fraction of the price. So that is going to be one of the giveaways during the week. This week on Instagram, it'll actually be only for the Inner Circle, and you will get a 1-year subscription to those courses. Okay, so, so many ways to study the Bible, so many ways to grow in your faith. And Simple Seminary with my friend Angie Elkins and Whitney Whitney Capps. They have put that organization together and would love to help you to grow in God's Word. So we're gonna get away back to that Tony Evans Study Bible in just a minute. Last option for studying the Word of God, I love this Bible. It's the One Year Chronological Bible. Basically, it's the whole Bible with each reading for each day, and it's in order, so you don't just read the Bible and then you're wondering what happened and when. It puts them together for for you. So if you just wanted to read the Bible and to have it make date order sense, like things are happening, um, regardless of where it is in the Bible, you're reading them at the same time, this is a great way to get an understanding of scripture as a whole. So this is another one of my favorites that I have and that we've used in our home. We used it last year with the boys, and they hated me for it, but they will love me for it later. And I don't know if they have— they just haven't learned the lesson. I don't care. They think when I say, they say, "You're so mean and nobody else and why can't you?" And I just be looking at them like this.
It's a rite of passage. Just let them go through it and they'll come back and thank you later.
I know. I just look at them and say, "Have you not figured out yet? I don't, I don't care." Anyway, I love y'all. So here's the winner of that yellow. Now I feel like I need to get a yellow Tony Evans Study Bible because I don't even have one. The winner is Chrystal Hurst. Chrystal Barney Harold. Chrystal Barney Harold, you are the winner of that Sister Circle Yellow Tony Evans Study Bible and 1-year subscription to the Tony Evans Training Center.
I think the competition's rigged. I mean, her name is Chrystal.
I mean, it is what it is. Glad your name was Chrystal. All right, so let's move on to Karras' Corner. Karras has some things that she would like to tell us about that I do not have at all, so— and she hasn't bought any of these for me. Ever! She's had a lot of these things for a long time and she never once has said no you brought that to me because we were doing a show— You didn't think about me before that? But then I get to keep it...
Mm-hmm cookies cookie cookyis cookys cookies cookyes cookays cookayes cookaas Cooks Cookies Cookiez This is— These are cookies from a famous bakery in New York Leaven Bakery And this— okay, let me explain. These cookies are very thick and substantial in size.
Thick, thick, thick, thick, thick.
Never mind. Okay. These cookies are so good. Let me tell you why they are so good. Because all you have to do is put them in the oven. They're fully cooked already. They're fully cooked. Okay. But they come with the instructions to put them in the oven for 5 minutes. So they mail them to you so you can mail this out as a really nice gift for someone. But the melon tea, you put them in the oven for 5 minutes and then they're like super ooey gooey. So we go straight— they're super ooey gooey. They also have a frozen version. The frozen version, they're— I know, okay, the frozen version is they send them to you frozen, you put them in the oven for like 10 minutes. So this is an easy to bake version for people that you could just send. They could eat it within a couple days, apparently. A couple days is all you can— it's just a couple days. And then, or you can do the frozen version. Each is delicious. So we won't give you this one, we're gonna give you that one.
Thank you. Okay. All right.
She wasn't thinking about me. I was. I was. Oh, sorry. Chocolate chip cookies.
Any time is a good time for chocolate chip cookies. I'm gonna throw this one away. Stop, stop. I'm sorry. What's next? Oh, this book.
John Mark Comer is my favorite author right now. He, okay, so he has written a few books. His latest book is Live No Lies. It is incredible. It just talks about the lies that we as Christians Christians believe of this world and combating it with the truth. And it is— he thoroughly goes through so many different topics, and it's just amazing. Just go buy the book.
I just am amazed she's a reader. Do you know how much— do you mean— do you know when you are reading romance under the covers for, you know, since you're a homeschooling mom and your kids fight you tooth and nail to read anything meaningful And then when they're adults and they say, look at what I'm reading to better my life— she's talking about meaningful things.
To me, Chrystal Hurst was meaningful. No, I'm not talking about—
I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about right now you're reading real books like that benefit your soul. Oh, definitely. I was worried about her soul for a really long time. I didn't know if she was gonna make it. So I'm just happy to have it. I didn't know what was happening. I was just praying that God would bring some deliverance.
I'm sorry I gave you that much pause. Sheesh. Okay, so these shoes look a mess because I wear them often. I mean, did you just bring your used shoes on the Christmas collection? What was I supposed to do, buy a pair of whole new shoes for the video? Yes, yes. But they're actually not that expensive. Teva shoes. Okay, so these were my pregnancy staple in the summer that I was pregnant with Josie because they are like soft. They feel like memory foam.
They're I don't want to touch it.
You put your feet in there. They're so nice and they're so soft and they're so cushiony. She has her shoes on my table. And you can get them wet. Like if your kid, I don't know, like throws up on your feet. That's my typical day. You just rinse them or just stick your foot in the sink and you just rinse them right off. In the sink? Kinda like that.
Oh my gosh, stop it!
Oh, see? No home training. All I'm saying is get yourself a pair of Teva shoes. Teva, Teva, I don't know, doesn't matter. They're not that expensive, they're great. I also have another pair, they're a little cuter. Oh, they come in lots of different styles, guys, but they're great summer shoes, fantastic summer shoes. I don't know why you acting like—
because you put your feet in it.
I have beautiful feet.
They stink sometimes too. I mean, I'm a mother. I can't. I mean, she just brought her for real every day. I just took them off shoes.
These shoes were a gift. Get back on the table. And they are my favorite shoes right now.
They were a gift from who?
Why are you banging the table? Auntie Cilla. Auntie Cilla gave me these shoes.
Auntie Cilla gives expensive gifts.
I don't know how much they cost and I prefer not to know.
Auntie Cilla. Is this thing on? Auntie Cilla. She's an aunt, that's what she's supposed to do. She's also a sister. She's also a sister.
Oh, so she gives you expensive gifts too, is that what you're trying to say?
You don't know what I do for her.
No, I said she gives you expensive gifts. Does she? I don't know. Okay, anyway, these are super comfortable.
I've never owned a pair of Uggs in my life.
These are not house shoes. Cilla, Cilla, these are shoes you wear out. Is this— hello? They look like house shoes, but they have a I have a real soul.
I'd love some Hursts.
I wear these out. Is anybody listening? I wear these out all the time.
They're so great.
This is Karris's corner. It literally says Karris's corner. It's not Chrystal Hurst's corner. Can you take these shoes? These are like fresh. I just got these. You know what?
What else you got? Is that it?
Blasphemous? No. Okay, I'm a paper person, guys. I have notebooks all over the place. I carry my Bible everywhere. I don't say that just to say— I just, I have paper all over the place all the time. And so I'm always just looking for like a nice little tote bag. Is this the one you guys bought when we went to Magnolia? No, not just— it Lula last time. The first time.
How often do you go? Every time I went it was with you.
Uh oh. I'm just saying, I love this tote bag because I'm a paper person. And if you're a paper person or even like a laptop person and you just need kind of like a straight up and down super simple tote, this is the way to go. It is from Magnolia, but the brand is Able. So it's sustainable. So it's nice. Yes. So it's nice and leather.
It's good leather too.
And it's the one that like the older it gets, the better it looks. I would like to put some crystals. And the better it gets like broken in. Is this thing on? Is this thing on? I mean, Karris's Corner can't get no respect.
Hello? Hello? Because the stuff in Karris's Corner, your mother can't afford.
That's not true. Those Teva sandals are like $40.
I don't have no—
I didn't buy those. I don't have no Teva shoes.
I don't have— what?
So I just— Is this thing on? All of that, those dirty pink shoes are gonna be in a box for you on Christmas.
I don't want your nasty shoes. What's wrong with you? I want this purse though.
Well, that's it. She kind of—
Can I steal your purse? Why is she heckling me?
Okay, it's your turn.
My turn to talk about what? Oh, okay, so this is for those of us who want to be savvy. Like, savvy. Now, y'all know I'm a geeky girl. I like technology. As a matter of fact, we're having a tech fest in here right now. Okay, but anyway, a tech fest. Yes. Okay, all right. This is one of my favorite things. Again, it's just the small things. I'm a very— she's always like, what should I get you for Christmas? And I'm like, I'm, I'm not, and I'm not hard. I'm like a very simple person. This right here is just an AirPods case, okay? But why this matters is because the other AirPods, they like can slip up. They slip like they can just accidentally pop off. This has a snap. Like, I went on Amazon looking for an AirPod case with a snap, so it actually will close and stay closed. And it's sturdy. If I only want to take like a little change purse into the store, I can just hook this on real quick and take it so it's a really small thing. I love it. It's made of leather. Wow. Found it on Amazon, y'all. It is my favorite. It's one of my favorite things. Oh, this is fake. Yeah, that's— you're gonna steal that too?
I was taking it out to give you the— and then I was gonna—
yeah, she was gonna steal that too.
Well, Ellie gets it honestly.
So this is easy to connect to your bag. Uh-oh. Okay, now this is one of the things that we'll be giving away on Instagram. Instagram. So if you're following Chrystal Hurst, the Sister Circle Online, and you share with friends, you'll see this pop up in the stories on Instagram this week. And we'll be giving— this is not mine, this is one I got for you to give away. So there are 40 pages left. No, there are not. No, they're not. No, they're not. Hang in there. There's not 40 pages left. Okay, so the code for that one is "this Christmas." So write that down. This Christmas.
Hang all the mistletoe, I wanna get to know you better. Oh, this could— that's Josh's favorite song.
That's Poppy's favorite song. Aww. Aww. Nonnie used to blast that loud. She really did. She really did. Like loud. And then you would ask her to turn it down and she'd be like, I didn't ask her to turn it down.
No, I don't mean you specifically.
I just mean people in the house. Next. Okay, Echo Dot. Y'all, I have 6 children technically because everybody in my house is always calling for Alexa. Alexa, can you set a timer for the bacon? Alexa, how much time is left on my reading timer? Alexa, what is the weather outside? Alexa, what time is it? And I literally sometimes find myself saying, stop talking to her.
We found out Ellie's been buying things on the Alexa in her room.
And she has one in her room because she plays music at night. Yes. And that's her own.
Because she listens to books that we've approved.
But you don't know what book she's reading if she's buying stuff on Alexa. No, no. She could be listening to those romantic Christian novels.
She's not. No. And she was like, but Alexa bought it. And I was like, Alexa is not real. I mean, it was like a Santa Claus isn't real situation.
Alexa is her own person.
And I had to tell her, I was like, Alexa doesn't know everything. And some things that Alexa thinks she knows, she doesn't. We had to have a whole—
So what was she buying?
It was just some random shit. I don't even know. I don't even know. I don't even remember what it was, but I just remember she was like, yeah, I bought this. And Josh got a charge and he was like, what is going on? And she was like, but Alexa bought it. And we were like, no, Alexa did not. We did. Okay. Yeah, it was—
All right. Well, not— Alexa. That's a great gift. Don't put Alexa in your 5-year-old's room. Don't put Alexa in your 5-year-old's room, except that's where you— okay, people ask me all the time. Yes. So many people who say, what do you use to podcast? Or I want to start a podcast, and how did you get started? Now you see, I got a lot of mics. I have a mic fetish. But this right here is the Blue Yeti, or this is actually the Blackout Yeti, but the Blue— any Yeti microphone. This is the first microphone I've been podcasting for 8 years, and this, this mic is the one that has primarily been the one that I've used all this time. So if you're— if you know someone who wants to start a podcast or you want to level up your podcast, check out this mic. It's a good one. It's a condenser microphone, if you need to know that, but it's awesome and it gives great sound, and you can use it for yourself, for interviews, for group table talks, or whatever. So Blue Yeti, That's how I got started. And if you know someone who would like a microphone—
This is a fantastic gift for those who grew up in the '90s or who just lived through the '90s or who had to use a VHS tape at any point.
No, it's not even just that. Okay, so last year I got all of the videos from our family video situation, like the big VHSs, and I sent it off to Legacybox. Okay, legacy box. Then like, this is a whole box of— look at this— DHS. This says 1994 Keryss's Christmas program. I didn't get that. Well, we'll figure that out later. Not only— and I mean, oh wow, Chrystal Hurst's prom. This is the one we all want to see. Oh no, no, no, no, no, no.
This is the one we all want to see. I dare you to play it. I'm like, I cannot.
So even the little— like, these are the mini DVDs, Betas, any kind of size. Not only did they digitize them, they put them on DVDs. And because they— this is a box full of videos that we sent off. Then they also gave us the digital files. So then I went online and I found a company that would create custom— What do you call this? A jump drive? A USB. So I actually had it customized. It says Evans on one side. It says Evans on one side and family on the other. So all the videos in this box, I put them on one USB. That's pretty special. So when I handed this out at Christmas last year, y'all, it was a win. So here's the deal. If you have videos that need to be digitized, photos that like in boxes and you just need to digitize them, You can fill a box with whatever and they will bring it, give it back to you. I know it may feel scary to send it off. I was very afraid to send it off. But I had lots of friends that had reviewed it and loved it. They will send the box back to you with your DVDs or with your digitized files so that you can download them and share them. So if you've got memories and you want to save them, check out Legacy Box, for real. Like, it's a great, great gift. And oh, I guess I'll leave this out so it doesn't get lost. So now what I'm gonna do with all these VHS tapes, I don't know, but I'm not gonna let her have them.
She's gonna keep them, I bet you that, but they're gonna be neatly organized somewhere.
Okay, okay, so this is my, again, tech situation. If you have a photographer in your household, somebody that loves photography and they want to level up their game. Oh, you don't have one? Oh, I thought we had the— we have a picture, we have a picture. Okay, we don't have a picture? It's a lens. Oh, we don't have a picture. Oh well. I have a Sigma Art 3.5mm lens that is a 35— no, it's a 35mm lens, and I put that on my Canon. So some people have said, oh, I love your pictures. Now I take a lot of pictures with my phone, but I also take a lot of pictures with my camera. And that's— now you have a Sigma on your Nikon, right?
I'm not the gear gal.
But you have a Sigma on your—
I think so. Oh, okay. Josh, Josh is the gear guy. I'm not the gear gal.
Well, Sigma Art lenses for your DSLR is another way that you can help somebody who has a hobby of photography and just up their lens. Like, literally, you could take their camera into a camera shop and say, what could I do to better the pictures that they're you're taking, and the lens makes all the difference. So this is my old camera, but Canon lens, Canon camera, with— this is the kit lens that came with it. And I just said, hey, do you have a better lens? I can get better pictures. So that's one way that you can help someone in your household that is a hobby photographer. And the last thing that we love in this savvy section is the Bose SoundLink portable Bluetooth speaker.
I always thought it was Bose. Is it? Or balsy?
I'm not paying attention to you. Anyway, big sound, y'all know the name Bose. And so we know that Apple has their speakers, and what's the one starts with an S? Sonos has a speaker, but Bose to me still reigns. I'm a little bit of an audiophile, so this is a small way to give big sound. Bose SoundLink speakers. Okay. Alright, so reading.
Lots of reading. Okay, she put this on her list knowing good and well I gifted this book to her. It was supposed to be on my list, but—
Well, but I had multiple books.
What do you mean?
I don't know how I got multiple books, but I have multiples.
Because I gave you and Kaden one.
But Kaden has his. I think I had another one some kind of other way. So this, this is a book that is really good about slowing down, which I actually do very well. I live a very slow, relaxed, evenly paced life.
Is your nose—
I think your nose is growing. My patience.
She lying, y'all. She lying.
Just soothing, sabbatical, peaceful. This isn't the one I wrote her.
I wrote it in here.
She did write in here. She wrote in my book that I have.
I wrote in her book.
Slow down, please, says the girl who lives a fast life.
Not anymore. Not anymore. After 30, I was like, skrrt.
Look at everybody looking at her crazy, 'cause she in here talking about she wants a slow life. Y'all don't see me when y'all not here. When you're not here?
Whatever, because she working in her, in her room. Whatever.
Anyway, this is something that we'll be giving away on the Instagram page, so pay attention. Here's the code word: Silent Night. Silent Night. If you need the practical steps for understanding why you need to slow down and how to do that— stop staring at me— The Ruthless Elimination of Hurrying.
It also on his website, if you go to his website, there's also a downloadable, like, kind of— I wouldn't even call it a study guide, but like a steps to— yeah, to help you, to help you. Like, what is— after you read the book, it's great, and then it's like, okay, how do I actually implement this in my life? And it's free and it's downloadable if you go to his website. So if you get the book, I would definitely download the study.
And my middle son, who actually is a voracious reader, read this and was like, Mom, that was really He's like quoting stuff out of the book. Oh, great. Why did he call me?
I'm the one who gave him the book.
What? He was quoting. I'm just saying.
I do. I give him— I feed him books so that we can talk.
And he reads them.
He's talking to you. He reads them all.
Okay. Now here's something that you can't buy in stores. Hehehe. This is not only Divine Disruption, which you technically can buy in stores.
Look at that picture.
You can't buy this in a store. That picture is unbelievable. This is signed by all 5 of us. Beautiful picture. It's a signed copy. Of divine disruption.
I was doing what I was doing in my corner. You were heckling me the whole time. That picture— but I'm not the only person.
The picture though, she wants y'all to pay attention to the picture because as a photographer and she took the picture.
Me and Josh.
Now that we have given you your props, y'all, this book, this is going to be in the big giveaway at the end of the week. So again, make sure you've liked my page, like the Sister Circle online page, and you have shared on either one of those with 3 of your friends And then at the end of the week, this big gift that has all these things in it, this one is in it. And again, you can't buy that one in stores. Let's see.
Okay. Let's test and approve if this book is good.
Yes. Books need to smell well. I mean, you really don't have to smell the book. You can just smell me.
It's pretty good. Mmm. I thought about it. I mean— Not the best idea. Let's see. Okay. Oh, yeah. It's a good one. It's a good one.
All right, if— do you have a young woman in your life? I want you to know that my cousin Winter, if you've ever heard me talk about her, who— she passed away 4 years ago, 3 years ago, and she not only wrote multiple books with her daughters— I mean, look at this, we've got many things from Winter, a whole situation— but she also has a magazine for tween girls, and we will be giving away a a bunch of books from the author of For Girls Like You, and then also a subscription, a year subscription to the For Girls Like You magazine. So I want you to know that if you have a young woman in your life and you want to give her material that she can digest without you stressing out about what she's reading or what she's looking at, then we have all of these magazines and books by Winter and her girls to share with you. I mean, look at this. This one is written by Caitlin, Olivia, and Cameron Pitts. It's like girls written for girls by girls. I love it. It's amazing. Okay, now this is gonna be an Inner Circle— I'm sorry, yeah, an Inner Circle giveaway on Instagram. So write this code down, Inner Circle members: FIRSTNOEL, FIRSTNOEL. And when you see this come up on the Instagram page, we will be looking for an Inner Circle winner. Oh, by the way, When you— if you're an inner circle person and you want to say, hey, I'm here, I'm inner circle, in the DMs on Instagram, whenever you share the code word, tell us you're a part of the inner circle. I mean, we're gonna look you up and check, but tell us you're part of the inner circle or use that yellow circle to let us know that that's you. You want to toss? All right, random items that I love. Okay, the first thing is The Morning Joy Custom Cutting Board. Now we've got a picture to show you, but this is awesome because they can take— they can make a cutting board, put whatever you want to on it. But they also— one of the suggestions that they had is if there's a recipe from someone that you love or a recipe that you want to share, you can put that recipe on the cutting board and share the cutting board as a gift. Like, it is a great way to remember someone you love or to share a recipe you love with other people. And so I'm really excited to be getting mine in the mail soon. So if you're looking for another personalized gift, now is a great time to be doing that. And that is Morning Joy Co. And as a reminder, all of these things that we're talking about are on our PDF, chrystalevanshurst.com/myfaves. Now, getting back to girls, these are Light— uh, Light Speaks Loudest. No. So you have— there are different themes. So this is a box you can buy, a subscription box for teen girls, quarterly subscription boxes that are created to help teen Christian girls better love themselves and God. So if you have a niece, a, a granddaughter, a little sister, a cousin, and you just want her to know that you care about her and to send something to her in the mail, then get a subscription to box. They're— they are designed for young women, and inside they just have really fun things that will speak to her heart. And isn't the box super cute? And every quarter they get new stuff. So again, I mean, y'all, really, most of the time I find when I'm trying to give gifts for people, it's like you're just giving gifts that aren't necessarily meaningful or that won't last, or that won't last longer than the initial open of the gift. So this is a way to give a The Gift That Keeps On Giving. Now this is going to be a YouTube Live, like, right now giveaway, okay? So if you are interested in winning this box right now, comment your best gift idea for teenage girls. So anything that you think a teen girl would want, I mean, just anything, drop it in the comments and we will choose a winner from the comments to send you a subscription to Light Speaks Loudest. Okay, super cute. Okay, now I have on my wrist right now, I have this bracelet. Now you can't see this, and while Charis opens that, but you can't see it really, I don't think. But what it has on here, it is leather that is engraved, and what it says is, proud of you, love always, mom. When we released Divine Disruptions, I found out about this company from a friend of mine, and I had engraved on this leather her handwriting. So I sent them a picture of a card, some cards my mother sent, and one of them said, "Proud of you." Another card said, "Love always," and another card said, "Mom." And I said, "Lift these phrases from these 3 cards." I sent them pictures of it, and then they superimposed that, engraving that on a bracelet. So if you want to give a very personalized gift to someone whether that person is still— that you want to represent on here is here or not. This is a great way to carry the memory of someone you love with you. And then, I mean, they make gorgeous jewelry. But the thing is, anything that you buy from them, they can engrave. They can engrave leather, they can engrave metal. And so, again, beautiful jewelry, but also jewelry that can be personalized. So if you're looking for a really unique gift, then check this out. Now, we're going to be giving away some of the jewelry that you see on the Instagram page, but rustic cuff giveaway is for inner circle only. You don't even know what I'm talking about. You don't even know what I'm talking about.
Sewn at the sides.
But every time I go places in my bed sheets, my muumuus, or my Amazon dress, I get compliments out the wazoo from lots of people, strangers on the street.

One swift breeze and that thing sucks it up against your body, and we are very clear on what you do and don't have on.

You didn't tell me about them, I just saw them with—
on me.
Oh, okay. So I've got a black pair, I've got a white pair, I'm egging on to get my— to get another pair. They had a yellow pair, they have another pair. Yeah, I love these. Now y'all know I wear Converse all the time, but this— the whole thick heel situation.
I know, it just takes it up a notch. It just takes it up a notch. I've worn this with like suit pants and a business jacket and a t-shirt, sets it off.
Yeah, these are great. So you can go to Converse, and I wish I had a deal with Converse. I mean, Chrystal Hurst Converse, doesn't that have a ring to it? I gotta figure that out.
You can create your own Converse custom Converse design. Yes, custom?
Okay, okay, so I need a Sister Circle Converse. Okay, we'll work on that, we're gonna work on that. Okay, alright, okay. Anyway, I will wear any kind of Converse, but these are a favorite. And because they have so many, seriously, they're cute and you can buy a pair for someone and they will appreciate you. They'll be comfortable and they'll be cute. And they'll be cute. Okay, is that it? That's— oh my goodness. Oh my goodness, my massage Josh.
Wow, I'm on my way home, baby. I mean, you gave me all the supplies.
The soap, the lotion. Wait a minute, why are you— No! She's stealing things. Listen, I'm—
It's not stealing when you're taking it from your mom.
And that is the problem.
Everybody knows that.
You ever heard of the prodigal son? He returned. It's called unappreciating your gifts, your parents, your privilege, your heritage.
So far left because you're going so far.
Yes, I have given you— I have given— yes, I've given you a godly heritage. I've given you an education. I've given you life, and you are trampling all over that by stealing from me. Yes, absolutely. It's all about respect. Well, it's good. R-E-S-P-E-C-T, find out what it means to me. R-E-S-P-E-C-T.
That's my my mom in college in 1994 at that house party.

Yes. Or were you just doing it with me? Well, you didn't even say my name in the whole like exit.
I did, I did at the beginning. I said you were my child. I said you were the firstborn, that you were 30, that you're the mother of 3. I said, I said all these things. Okay, all right. We've talked about the fact that you were a photographer. We've talked about the fact that you are very talented. You seem like a narcissist.
Assistant. I just was like, I was like, bye from Paris and Chrystal Hurst.
Is this thing on? Hello? Hello? Bye! Are we done? I feel sad. Oh, the giveaways close Friday night, 11:59 Central Standard Time. So win along the way, but in order for the big prizes, make sure you have done all the things so that we can choose from you. And choose a winner on Saturday. This was fun. I'm tired.
Me too. I started going downhill like 3/4 of the way in. You know math is not my strong suit, Mom.
Well, I tried. I'm a writer. I'm glad you're that. I was worried about that too for a while.
Do you remember late night? No.
Because you're a drill sergeant. And you are right. No! Who's writing a book? That comma doesn't belong there. Who's writing a book? Say thank you. No! Say thank you.
That should be a semicolon.
But do you know how to use grammar correctly?
I'm a freaking fantastic writer, thanks to my mother.
OK. OK. There we go. Merry Christmas to you.
Who always beat me within an inch of my life. Because when I missed punctuation on a 20-page essay about John 3:16, one verse, that she made me write because she wanted to sharpen my writing skills.
But did you say thank you? I did.
Not at the time. No. Because I had lashes on my back. Stop it. You did not. She's lying. It was really tough growing up.
She's lying. She's not. I was tough, but look where we are today. Merry Christmas, sister.
Are we still rolling? Oh, I thought we were ending.
