Y'all, I am fresh out of my session with my Inner Circle girls and Monday morning mentoring, and I wanted to share one tip with you if you are feeling behind in your life. Number one, brain dump. Write everything down that you can get out of your soul and your mind on paper. What's bugging you about where you want to be that you're not? Number two, decide which of those things you can do something about this week and put it in your plan, in your decision-making, to do something to move the needle in your life on one of those things that's bogging you down. Number three, decide what you can do about that today. I realize that if you're in debt, thousands and thousands of dollars of debt, you can't take care of that today, but you can plan today for your next payment. I understand that if you are 50 pounds overweight that you can't lose all that tomorrow. You shouldn't— that wouldn't be good. But you can plan forward for your next meal. And I understand that if your marriage is on the rocks that you can't fix it this afternoon, but you can this afternoon place a call and get an appointment with a marriage counselor. Life is so much about areas where we feel behind or where things are just not right, and we get overwhelmed by wanting the big fix. But what you can do is let a little air out of the balloon simply by deciding what your next step is. Me, y'all, listen, I had to get out my daily tracker and brain dump just last night because I was feeling, uh, feeling, feeling really overwhelmed. But I'll tell you what that did for me— deciding what I'm doing this week and what I'm doing today. It helped me to feel a little bit better. Still a little bit behind, but less anxious about it. I don't want you to be anxious about your life. Life's too short to spend it being anxious. What you can do is make a decision for today. You always have the power to be engaged with what you can do today. It's all about daily bread, y'all. Stop being overwhelmed. Do one thing today that moves you forward.
