In this informal vlog, the creator (Speaker A) documents a trip to a salon for eyebrow threading and mustache waxing, captured by her husband Jesse. The video opens with her arriving at the salon and sets expectations for a post‑procedure report. Throughout the session, salon staff (Speakers B, C, D) discuss the process, noting that the left side of the face often hurts more than the right. The threading proceeds with mild discomfort, especially on the left side, which the staff confirm as typical. The mustache waxing proves unexpectedly painful, causing swelling, redness, and the application of aloe on the lip. A waiver is signed before the waxing. The atmosphere is light‑hearted, with jokes from the staff and laughter from the husband as he records. After the procedure, Speaker A reflects on the pain, the shiny medicated lip, and the cleaner facial lines, promising to assess her recovery later. The vlog ends with Jesse complimenting the results and a brief banter among the participants.

Okay, so I'm here in the parking lot, just pulled up to this threading place to get my brows cleaned up and threaded, and you can see it, mustache waxed. I will report back after with my findings, right? I have a riding partner. You gonna video me while I get it done? He loves me.
So that's it for that side?
Okay.
Yeah, it's like if I walked up to you, Jesse, and then just grabbed a bunch of your little hairs and then just pulled them. True, except not.
Okay, now hold this foot.
A little bit for you.
There you go.
That's amazing. You didn't do like, uh, waxing or threading anything for so long.
Mm-mm.
Ooh, I think the left side hurts more than the right side.
For me or for everybody? For most of Really? Yeah, I wonder why.
They always say their left side hurts more.
Oh, it does hurt more. This is why I don't do it.
Them to look pretty, then paint.
Okay, what do you think, Jesse? My eyes are all watering.
What do you think?
Looks great.
Okay, looks same but more, uh, cleaner, right?
Yeah, looks great.
Wait for her to sign this waiver.
Oh no, I have to sign a waiver.
Yeah, I think the waxing will be better for your pain this time because you did for the first time.
But yeah, that's why I said I'll do that this time.
Maybe one time.
Oh no, tongue like this because you're doing after a long time. But when you do after like 2 weeks, next time you can go ahead and try threading.
Jesus, I wasn't ready.
Oh my gosh, I was already—
okay, that was good. She got something else. That was really good.
Your tongue here, cuz if you were ready, then you would be thinking about the pain.
You're like, no, she's going to rip it off. No, no, no.
Lord have mercy.
Like this, just hold it.
I thought one time meant one time.
That's not possible because you're supposed to stretch your skin while pulling, otherwise your skin will be pulled off if you don't stretch well.
Oh, okay, this is worse than the threading.
So here I am post facial hair removal. The threading on the right side wasn't so bad, on the left side is a little worse, and the threading specialist said that that's typical. No idea why that is. Now, my mustache, on the other hand, this thing right here was traumatic because I wasn't expecting it and it hurt. And then the other thing is, I'm all— she had to put aloe on my lip. It's all, all got red and a little swollen. And I got red up here too, but this, this hurt. And my husband was videoing and he actually was laughing at me. But as of right now, I am cleaned up. I have cleaner lines. There's no hair, but it's very shiny because I have medicine on my lip. So anyway, it's done. I'll see tomorrow when I'm not in pain how I feel about this whole shenanigans situation. Thanks to Jesse for being my videographer. What do you think?
