How to Live a Life You Love

In this October 2021 livestream, Chrystal Hurst delivers a faith‑based motivational talk encouraging viewers to "live a life you love" by following three practical steps: (1) Imagine – intentionally envision personal goals while aligning them with what God envisions for you, supported by scriptural references (Ephesians 3:20, John 15, Habakkuk 2:2); (2) Write – physically record those goals in a planner or notebook, citing neuroscience that pen‑and‑paper engages the brain differently than digital note‑taking; (3) Review – regularly revisit written goals within a supportive community for accountability, celebration, and prayer. Hurst frames these steps within the context of her Inner Circle program, a 90‑day, membership‑based community offering three pathways (physical health, purpose/future, fun), monthly themed journeys (e.g., November’s focus on boundaries, December’s celebration), mentorship opportunities, and a newly released Planner 3.0. She shares personal anecdotes about her mother’s love of sunsets, the fleeting nature of life, and the importance of intentionality. Throughout, she emphasizes the need for mentorship, inter‑generational support, and spiritual vigilance, warning that making goals visible can attract spiritual opposition, thus underscoring the necessity of staying connected to the Holy Spirit. The livestream includes calls to action (link to chrystalevanshurst.com/innercircle, enrollment deadline at midnight), community engagement prompts (waves, hearts, yellow circles), and a blend of instructional, narrative, and promotional tones.

Oh, what's that, Papa? Good morning. I'm trying to get my act together, y'all. I haven't gone live everywhere in quite a while. Good morning. Good morning. So I am here mostly because I go live every Monday in the Inner Circle. So I'm not live here every week anymore because I do that inside of the Inner Circle. But today, because the Inner Circle is open and I want to make sure y'all know about it, I'm doing my Monday live here for you all too. I'm switching this around so y'all can see me. I'm even on Instagram today. So anyway, y'all forgive me for those of y'all who logged in and then had to log back in because your girl is trying to remember how to do the things. I hope you're doing well. I hope you are grateful to be in the month of October. Every day that you get to live is a gift. And every day that you get to live, you get to choose. And what I want to help you do this morning is choose to live a life you love. I want to share some principles with you that are not rocket science. However, they are foundational to you doing just that. Okay, so, um, there's about, uh, there's a few hundred of you on here, so welcome, welcome, welcome. I'm glad you're here. Um, and the reason why I'm going live this morning everywhere is because, um, that's what I used to do. Somebody say, back in the day. And then unintentionally, accidentally, but providentially, um, that caused the Inner Circle to grow like crazy. And so what we did is focus a lot of our attention on The girls who are there that have committed to, to do the work, to not just show up and listen to me talk, but also— good morning, y'all on Instagram, back in the day, Maria— but also commit themselves to doing the work. And so what has happened in there is that we have developed quite the community. Um, yes, I'm going live every Monday and yes, I'm sharing content, a lot of content, and yes, our core team, our remote team, our second-year interns, our first-year interns are doing their part to make sure we're creating a ton of content that can give you the tools that you need to work on your life. And what I wanted to talk about today is how to actually live— hey, Instagram— a life you love by doing 3 things. Okay? Now it's, it's not easy, But it is this simple. So sometimes there are things that we think are really hard, but we have to determine if the hard we're talking about is if we don't know what to do, or if we, uh, if we know what to do, that's really simple. We're just not willing to do the work. So there is work involved. Okay. There is work involved, but it's not hard work. In the sense that it's not a secret. And often we live our lives thinking that as we watch other people on social media or in person, that they have something we don't have, or they have done something we don't know how to— we don't know how to do. So we feel like we're missing something when in reality, the difference that it makes to do the simple things and to put in the work to do the simple things is that you see progress. So what I wanted to do is just talk to you a little bit about what that looks like to do these 3 things that you can, um, do that are not always easy, but they are simple. So for you on Instagram, the inner circle is chrystalevanshurst.com/innercircle. So if y'all want it, one of y'all want to be my friend and drop that in the comments, because if I try to type and do that at the same time I'm doing this, we'll be in trouble. The thing that you need to know about that is that today is the last day that the doors are open for this year. So I'm, that's why I'm here because people always say, Chrystal Hurst, I didn't know, I didn't see your email. I didn't see the social media. So here's, here's me saying, I would love for you to be a part. We would too. Um, but here are the 3 simple things and this is basically what we do. If I had to sum up what we do in the Inner Circle, this would be it. These 3 things would be it. Okay. So, um, today's the last day and then we close the doors until 2022. So I would love for you to join us if you want to intentionally in the context of community, do the work to work on you. Here are the 3 things. Ready to hear it? Here it go. Somebody stop me. Somebody stop me. I feel a little crazy coming on, just a little bit of crazy. Oh my God, because this is what we do, coffee tea in the morning every week. So y'all see my videos every week because I share with you the buttoned up edited version on Sunday nights, but there's always a little foolery and fun. So girls, if you are in the chat and you are in the circle, you know how we do. Drop your yellow circle for me so I can see that you're here. You've missed my crazy. Listen, my crazy is a little full on this morning. Somebody say calm down, Chrystal Hurst, don't embarrass yourself. All right. I think this year in the foolery, in the crazy, we have talked about a million ways to drink tea and coffee with the coconut and the aminos and the All the things. I've learned a million different ways to drink tea and coffee. Uh, what else have we talked about? Skincare. Cause you could talk about serious things and have some fun too. Good morning. I see y'all here and I see the dropping of the yellow circles. I'm glad you're here. Cruzon Papa said, calm down, child. Why, why would I do that? Why would I calm down? Why would I do that? We're supposed to have a little foolery and fun. All right, y'all can calm me down if I need to. Hi Melanie, thank you. Okay, refrigerators. We've talked about refrigerators. We have talked about that. Yeah, we talked about a few things. Gretchen said, I forgot how to do the circle. Honey, are you in the circle? I sent you an email many times a week. Oh goodness. Okay. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. She said calm down for what? I thought you said turn down for what? Turn down for what? Do do do do. Y'all stop me. Stop me. Okay, here we go. Here are the 3 things. We talked about this a little bit last night. We just are finishing up a 90-day experience where we take a process that I've created in a planner that I've created to use as a tool. To map out what you want to see in your life. And then the planner is the tool, and the experience is the community and the information and the encouragement that we use to spend 3 months, the last 3 months, 90 days, working on our goals. So we had our wrap-up party last night. This is like back-to-back lives. And, uh, in that live, I talked about the first tenet of living a life you love. Okay, it is the word Imagine. It is the word imagine. Okay, so here is what I mean by that. Most of us don't take the time that we need to imagine what we'd like to see about our lives. Setting goals is basically simply imagining what you want to see in your life. It is saying, here's what I imagine I can do, or here's what I imagine I can be in 5 years, 10 years, 20 years, 30 years. And because I imagine that I would like to retire, or I imagine that I want to have a plan after these kids get out of my house, or I imagine what I might look like if I drop these 50 pounds, or if I imagine— we're imagining. And so we set goals because of who we can imagine we can be. Here's what you need to know, especially when you love Jesus: when you imagine for yourself and you are connected to the Spirit of God, you're not just imagining what you imagine for yourself. Anybody can do that. Anybody can set intentions. Everybody in the world is talking about what they want to see manifested in their destiny anybody can, can do that for themselves. That's not a secret. That's not magic, right? Anybody can do that. That's why there's a million self-help books out there. But here's the thing, what you can do when you are connected with the Spirit of God in your life, and that's why we do these things, because often— let me finish that sentence because my brain is going faster than my mouth— because, uh, you can imagine what you can imagine for yourself, but when you connect that with what God can imagine for you on your behalf, okay, then you're connecting to stuff you can't even imagine. Ephesians 3:20 says he can do exceedingly above and beyond anything— oh, I just hit me, y'all— anything you can ask or even think. So what does that mean? You can imagine for yourself, but you cannot imagine what he can imagine for you. So you have to have the practice of sitting down making space, taking time to imagine what do I want for my life and what does God dream of for me, and to pay attention because he doesn't always download. Uh-oh, I'm on mute. How am I on mute? I'm on mute on Instagram. I don't know why that would be possible. You're missing the sound. Hold on, y'all, I gotta figure out— can y'all hear me now on Instagram? The sound went out. That's weird. Can you hear me? There's no sound. I'm checking to make sure I'm coming back with sound. If I'm not, I'll go back out and I'll come back in for y'all. Y'all had it. I don't know what happened. See, I don't like to blame everything on the devil, but Okay, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. But every now and then, because they had sound, it's just kind of weird. She— somebody said repeat all that you said. Okay, nothing. Okay, hold on, hold on. I'm gonna go out and come back in. Okay, hold on, hold on. All right, hold on a minute. Hold on, y'all. All right, give me a second to bring back in our Instagram fam. We'll do it one more time and then they're just gonna have to join us on YouTube or Facebook. All right, I'm back. So y'all have to let me know if I have sound. See, you see, I was getting all the way caught up and all the way in and then that happened. Yes. Greater is— are his thoughts for us than they are for ourselves. 100%. 100%. So what you have to know is that when you are taking the time to imagine for your life what you would like to see in your life— glad you can hear me, praise the Lord, I don't know what happened, I'm so sorry— that you have to connect that to what God imagines for your life too. The only way to do that is to spend time with him, to spend time connecting to him. John 15:5, if you abide in me and I abide in you, right? That's what John 15 is all about— abiding, being connected— because he is the vine, you are the branches. So you can do things. See, this is the thing believers will say: I can't do anything without Jesus. Yes, you can. Yes, you can. There's a whole world of people out here who do not know Jesus who do a whole lot. But what I was saying last night, and what I want to repeat for you today, is that you can have a ladder and climb to the top of it. But if you have a ladder and you climb to the top of it and it's leaning on the wrong wall, on the wrong wall, you're in trouble. The reason why you want to be connected to God and to his Holy Spirit is because when you imagine for yourself, um, and then say, now God, what am I— what are you imagining for me? And you're willing to do the work to climb on the right wall, that's where the magic is. That's where the spirit is. That's where the anointing is, honestly. So what we do in the Inner Circle is help you imagine. I am amazed. I am absolutely, positively amazed and how many people get into the everydayness of life, me included, right? Because we got to do all the things. We got to go to work, we have to pay the bills, we have to run our errands, we have to be responsible, we have to take care of the kids, we got to take care of the parents, we have to show up for all the things. And then we realize, hot dog it, I'm 15 years into my adult life. What was I planning on doing with it? I thought I had a dream, but then I got busy doing the things, and we forget to imagine. We forget to take the time. Now, we may goal set, we may goal set, but often we even get stuck in perpetuating the goals, and we don't even stop to think, are these the goals I even still have? You know, you, you have to check in on your goals. You have to check in on what you're imagining about yourself, because just because you imagined that for yourself 10 years ago doesn't mean that you can't reinvent along the way. So the first way that you can make sure that you are living a life you love is to make room to imagine. And most of us girls are terrible. We are terrible at making room to think, to pay attention, to put our heart— our hand on our heart and say, what's going on on that heartbeat, in that soul? When we have an emotional response, why did I have that emotional response? What is my body and my brain trying to tell me? We just keep pressing through. Because we're going to be a good girl. We're going to be the girl who loves Jesus. We're going to be the girl who's responsible. We're going to be the girl who shows up. Or in, in the, in the context of doing good things for other people and other causes, we forget to care about ourselves. We're horrible at that. And here's the thing, and this is why I know that this is probably not money that millennial girls want to spend, because you have other things you're trying to do with your life. This is why I get so excited when I see millennial girls in the Inner Circle or even Xennials. There's a few of those too. Um, or joining me live, because I just think if some— if I had decided when I was 25, and I have great friends and great mentors and great people, but if there were seasons of my life where I was willing to live open— somebody say live open— if I was willing to live open and to let someone else or a group of women speak into my life, I would have avoided pitfalls. Because living open and saying I you know, this is what I'm thinking, and somebody else go, well, let me tell you why that's a good thought and what you need to do, or let me tell you why that's not so good, the thought. And let me— and that whole idea, when women are willing to commit themselves to that— now listen, you should have, if you are a Xennial or Millennial, you need to have people in your life who know where you are and what you're doing, ma'am. And then they need to have the privilege and the permission to speak into your life, and then you need to listen. Now, if you don't have anybody in your life Right. Or even if you do and just want more of me in your life or more, cause listen, we have some women in there that can speak some wisdom to me. I have had women in our inner circle say, Chrystal Hurst, are you okay? You need to slow down, girl. You need to slow down. Listen, because we need to live open and we need to choose the context of the community, but that's why. So if you're here actually, and you're like under 35, give me a fist bump. I want to know that you're here. I want to know that you're here under 35. That would just make my morning to know that you're here. Mm-hmm. Love it. Love it. Yes. Kim Black mentorship is good. And that's kind of why the Inner Circle exists because do you know how many of you girls tell me that you don't have that? Hey, For His Glory Earrings. I see you. Hi Brittany. I see you. Hi Kenya. I see you Jasmine. Guy, Candy, Badella, Jessica, Michaela, Sherry, Priscilla. I see you here. Kaya, Monique, Labeth, Kayla. Mm-hmm. I see you. Now here's where we're really going to get into it. If you're under 25, wave at me. Just wave. Give me a little wave emoji. There's going to be fewer of y'all. Wave if you're here and you're under 25. I want to know that you're here. We're always debating the cutoff age of the millennial situation, aren't we? Mm-hmm. I'm waiting for some waves. Those 25-year-olds are still asleep. Hi, Elizabeth. I'm glad you're here. Hi, Rope. Hi, Taylor. Listen to y'all coming on here. Jacqueline said, I wish I was. Hi, Terry. Okay. So here's the deal. You need to imagine, and here's why mentorship matters. And I don't care where you get it, because there are people who are further along in their lives who are going to see what you can't see. And when you submit yourself to someone who is willing to call things out in you for the best and for the worst, when you do that, you save time. The reason why we're creating all this content in the Inner Circle, y'all— and every time I talk about it, if someone wants to be my friend and drop it in the Instagram chat, I would appreciate it— the reason why we're doing that in the Inner Circle is because so many of you said, I don't have it. I don't have it. Or I would say, this is what you need to do, and you would say, I don't know how. So that's what we do. We give you content and courses to do that, to help you imagine, to think about the future you, and to pull some things out of you that maybe you haven't thought about. That's the first thing that you need to do to live a life that you love. You need to imagine and then connect your imagining, because God gave you the power to imagine. He gave you the power of creativity. Adam, name all the animals. Come up with something. God wants you to come up with something for for your life. Plan, dream, get excited, do what you love. That's a part of living well. But he also wants you to connect that with what he imagines for you, exceedingly beyond anything that you can ask or think. Number 2, here it is. You have got to write stuff down, ma'am. You forget it because you write it down. You don't achieve it because you don't write it down. You don't remember it because you don't write it down. It doesn't get solidified in your brain because you don't write it down. Your reticular activation system doesn't know how to focus because you're not writing it down. I don't care where you write it down— in a spiral notebook, uh, I, I mean, I'm all about Apple Notes and all things digital, but there's something actually physicality-related, physically related. It is physiologically proven, scientifically proven, that when you take your hand with a pen or a pencil in your hand, what switches in your brain to get that thought out of your head and into your hand and onto paper, it's a different part of your brain. You do not activate that brain when you use your Apple Notes or when you use your, your, um, OneNote or whatever it is that you use. Use Apple, Android in the mix, but whatever. Anyway, when you actually write it down, something shifts. Literally, look it up. Should you take notes on a computer or should you take notes with a pen and paper? Literally, there are scientific studies that say it's different. And that's why people create vision boards, and that's why people, uh, write down their goals every year, because there is something that happens when you do that. Well, what do you write down? Well, that's what we talk about in the Inner Circle. Here's what we're focusing on this time. So I can tell you, in the month of October we've created these self-driven, self-paced pathways. Because what people kept telling me is, Chrystal, you have way too much content. Like, I can't get through it all, and I would like to be able to get through a lot of it on my own. So what we did is we went back— podcast, YouTube videos, some, um, private content, some public content— and we put it together in a lane so you could focus. So this time our pathways are caring for your physical self, fighting for your future, like your purpose, your goals, all that, and then fun. Like just have fun, like just with your life, do what you love. Those are the 3 pathways. In November, we'll be talking about setting boundaries because many of us— and I know this to be true from our live last night in the Inner Circle— we can't get stuff done because we're saying yes to too much. We're overwhelmed because we are allowing too much into our life. We are stressed out because I don't know who told you you had to do all that, but you need to actually set limits. We have to operate— in order to operate with freedom freedom. You have to operate with limits because there is no freedom if there are no limits. So in November, our 21-day journey will be about limits, and then in December we've got some fun content including a Christmas party. But the point is this: a lot of people would say to me, I don't know what to write down. So we create these guided journeys, A, to help you imagine, and B, to help you know what to write down and to give you a place to write it down. Y'all, when I was 25, when I was 30, when I was 35, when I was 40, and when I was 45, maybe even when I was 45. Creating a planner was not on my list of things to do. Let me just tell you, I love planners. I'm a planaholic, but that was not on my list of things to do. The reason why we created a planner and that we're really excited about planner version— I guess this is 3.0— is because people kept saying, I don't have anywhere to write it, or can you give me something to write on, or can you teach me? Eh. Can you teach me how, what you do in your blank book? So I sat down with my blank book and I said, what exactly am I doing? And then we came up with a format and then shared that with the inner circle. So I'm aware that there may be some of y'all who know how to set goals and you know how to write things down and you understand the importance of putting things down on paper. However, however, I realized that some people are like, Chrystal Hurst, help, help. So that's what we do. We help you imagine, and we help you know what to write down and give you a place to write it down. If you want to see, and if you want to rejoice and be like crazy excited about what God has done in your life, you write it down. Think about in the Old Testament, they would put down a stone of remembrance. God did something here. And when we pass back, what Ugh, y'all come to— they're saying no sound again, y'all. It's when my phone rings, that's what it is. I don't even know what to do with y'all. Okay, can you hear me now? It's when my phone rings. How about now? I'm going to tell them to come to YouTube. 'Cause I can't stop my phone from ringing. Come to YouTube. YouTube. YouTube. When my phone rings, I think that that's what happens. So I'm going to tell them one more time. YouTube. There you go. YouTube. Okay, they're coming. All right, y'all, I tried. Okay, so, uh, writing things down— I forgot what I was saying, but y'all get the point. So I'm gonna move on to the third point. All right, inner circle, imagining, writing things down. Oh, okay, and then the last thing is is to, um, to make the time to look. How many times have you written down your goals, but then you don't come back and look at them? Like you literally don't review. So one of the things that we do in the Inner Circle is in the context of community, and I keep saying that because the community is key. We say, come back and look at it again. Know that other people are looking at it with you. When you celebrate, we celebrate. When you struggle, We pray for you. So there is a community that I don't, you know, this is, this is, this is not Chrystal Hurst. This is Chrystal provided a space and a place, but this is the community. And we have awesome women in the community who want to help you look. They cheer you on when we go through these journeys together and you answer the questions, they say, me too, or I've been there, you can make it. Right. So it is looking, but it is looking in the context of looking with other people. Of accountability, of community. It's in the context of we're doing this together, you're not alone. And I really believed that you— that you, when you choose to imagine and when you choose to write things down— and I'm not the devil made me do it kind of person, but I really do believe that one of the problems is as soon as you proclaim over your life what you want to see happen in your life, the enemy goes, let me see how I can cause that dream cause that goal, cause that direction, cause that plan to fail. When you say that thing out loud, he hears you too. When you write it down, it becomes visible for him to see, and he does not want you to be successful. Seriously, he does not want to know what you can do for God. He doesn't want to know the power. He doesn't want you to know the power that you have. So as soon as you say it, write it down, it becomes obvious and evident to anyone who you share it with. But let me just tell you, there are things happening in the spiritual realm. This is why your connection to the Holy Spirit is ridiculously important, because as soon as you start dreaming what God is dreaming for you and climbing up the right ladder on the right wall, as soon as that happens, as soon as that happens arrows start getting aimed. It's just the way that it is. So you need to imagine, you need to write things down, you need to, um, look at your life and have your life open so that others can join you on the journey. Your small group, your one mentor, or the inner circle. That's what we're here to help with. So today's the last day that we're open till the end of the year. And if you know that you need community, or you know that you need a plan, or you know you need guidance, or you need— you cannot even think about what you should imagine for your life, or you don't know how to write it down or how to take the journey to look at your life, that's what we're here to do. Now, I always say, y'all, the Inner Circle got created because people said, we need this. I was doing things and people said, I don't know how. I will always tell you that what I do and what we do in the Inner Circle, I do believe there's a lot of value in it. I've seen women connect with business. I've seen women talk to other women that I have as guests in the Inner Circle. They would never have been able to ask a question to directly on their own. I've seen women launch businesses. I've seen women birth books. I've seen, seen women heal whole as they made the decisions, not just in the Inner Circle to be open, but also take the step to go see a counselor. I mean, I've seen women make moves in their life. And I'm convinced that there's no magic really. It's just women deciding to invest in themselves and allowing other women to cheer them on. It's that simple. And many of us have had this as women that have mentored us in our church, or maybe our mother mentored us, or we got Auntie and Them to do it, or we have a great friend who leads a Bible study. Some of us already have that. But if you don't have it and you're tired of waiting to figure it out and you want to take a step forward, That's what the Inner Circle is here to do. And every time we talk about it, I mean, I've gotten better about it because I hate marketing. I hate marketing y'all. But the thing is I've had so many women say, I'm so glad I heard about it. I'm so glad you told me about it. I'm so glad you went live. I'm so glad I found out about it and got in right before the doors closed. This has changed my life. And that's why I'm telling you. I believe it is a part of my calling and it has always been to gather women together. No question about that. 100%. I've done that in my local church. I've done it in my home. I've hosted Bible studies. I've hosted small groups. We had a Yahoo group for moms back in the day. I've had events at my church. This right here is what he dreamed for me. Can I just tell you that? This was not on my list of things to do. This is God taking who I knew I was already and dreaming for me. So when I tell you that connecting your— what you can imagine for your life with what God imagines for your life, I'm telling you that from experience. Here's the last thing I want to say to you, okay? Here's the last thing I want to say to you. Well, first of all, I want you to drop a heart in the chat if you are here and you are over 60. If you are over 60 years of age, I want to see you drop a heart in the chat. My mother loved sunsets. Okay. My mother loved sunsets. And, um, I had an opportunity to go to a wedding for someone I love very much this weekend. They chose to get married on the ocean to a little town I'd never been to before. Um, and see if I can find this for y'all. I'm going to share. And as I looked at this, at this crazy sunset, I mean crazy sunset, I was thinking about my mom as I often do for many reasons, not just because of the sunset. And I was thinking about how she said, one of the things she said in her last few weeks on earth, two things actually. One of them was she said, as she looked at us surrounding her bed, she said, "What a beautiful life. What a beautiful life." One time when she was in the hospital with my dad, she leaned over, she grabbed his neck, and she said, "I thought we'd have longer." And then she said, "It went so fast." That resonated with me because I remember my grandfather on his last days saying, Whew! It went so fast. You don't have to tell me 3 times. As I was standing on that beach looking at the sunset and thinking about all the sunsets, all the beautiful sunsets that I've had the privilege to see in my lifetime, I thought, man, I mean, I love a good sunset in California, let me tell tell you. It's one of my favorite things. Sunset on the West Coast, it's nothing like it. But I just thought, how many sunsets do I have left? Every sunset seems amazing. Every sunset seems like you can't get enough of it. And every sunset I see, I think it's beautiful. And then I thought, I'll be 50 next year. And I thought, this is a beautiful life. I get the opportunity to come to this beautiful place for a beautiful reason, to be with beautiful people, to see this beautiful sunset. This is a beautiful life. I'm so grateful, but life goes fast and I'm going to soak up this sunset because everything that you love in your life, you should choose to soak up. You shouldn't be living so fast that you miss what's beautiful in your life, that you don't pay attention to it, or that you realize in a regretful way, in a regretful way, that life went so fast and I didn't intentionally, I didn't intentionally live. One of the things I admire about my mom, and, and this is the word I will use with her, is intentional. 100% intentional. I'm gonna show you this sun— sunset. That's what I'm looking away to do. Can you see that sunset? That is the sunset I was looking at a couple nights ago. Isn't that beautiful? Literally with the iPhone. Ah, here's the thing, y'all. Many of us are living in a way that we don't pause to notice the things that make our life beautiful. We don't imagine beautiful because we're too buried in our everyday. But life goes fast. I've heard that twice when someone is leaving. You don't have to tell me a third time. And if you are not choosing in your everyday to live with intentionality and focus and imagining and coupling your imagining with the God who made you and what he imagines for you and writing it down writing down the vision, Habakkuk 2:2 says, making it plain for yourself, for other people. If you're not coming back to visit that, if you're not getting encouraged in the context of community, you're leaving something on the table. I can tell you that right now. I don't want you to do that. So this is me telling you to get somewhere where you have community. In your real life, in your real church, in your real neighborhood, in your real family. And if you don't have that, or even if you do have that, but it's not giving you what you need to set intentions for your life, to imagine what God is imagining for you, for you to write it down or to know where to write it down, for you to then come back and look at it, living open, being responsive to people who are older than you. I know my ladies who are seasoned women dropped a bunch of hearts in the chat because they're here. I wanna speak into your life. There are women from my team who wanna do the same. And then there are women in the community who wanna do it too. So if you need that and you're ready to invest in looking at your life, paying attention to your life, imagining for your life, documenting what's important in your life and noticing what's beautiful in the context of community, then you're invited. No pressure. And the reason why I say no pressure is because I know everybody doesn't have the extra. And that's why when I go live on Monday in the Inner Circle for our community discussion, we edit it, we button it up, we chop off the unimportant parts, the foolery parts, and we put it here on YouTube for you. Why? Because I understand and I remember what it was like to have no extra money. I understand that. I got it. I got it. And in the future, just so you know, we've had women in the Inner Circle who want to know how to sponsor another woman. And our tech actually limits us to doing that. In the future, that's what we hope to do. Because I get that. And I remember not having the extra for anything. So that's why there is a podcast, which will be coming back soon. That's why the videos go up every week. That's why occasionally I blog. That's why there are books, because books is a, is a very cheap way to get a boatload of content. But if you have the means and you want to invest in you, and what I've been saying to you today is pricking your heart, you're like, I need that. The doors are open and whosoever will. The doors close at midnight tonight. And I just want you to know that you are invited, but this is me, whether you're in there or not, telling you Imagine, girl, imagine who you want to be in 5 years, in 10 years, in 20 years, when you're 75 years old. Imagine, and then orient your life, writing things down. What do you have to get in order so you could get there? You want the home of your dreams? Get your finances in order. You want the man of your dreams? Break up with the man who's not. You want to make sure that you are pouring into your children spiritually? Well, that starts with you pouring into yourself spiritually. You want to make sure that you are moving forward in the things that you fear and you need somebody to cheer you on. Well, that's what community is for. So many ways. And I'm not an expert on anything, but what I am an expert on is looking at your life. And how am I? Because for so long I did not, and I learned that lesson. And my goal is to share that lesson as often as I can, in as many ways as I can with you. So If you're here, I hope that has blessed you. Imagine, write it down, and look in the context of community. Accountability is the key. Those are the 3 keys. If you imagine what you wanna be, write it down so you don't forget, and then have people in your life who don't allow you to forget either. And you couple all that and encase all that in what God is dreaming for you. Here's what I know. You, while life may be hard, while there may be unexpected things, You living with intentionality will not be disappointed because above all the muck and above all the fray, the consistency of who you are and who you have been created to be in Christ will remain the same. And when you study the lives of people you admire that have lived in time like my mom, or have lived in times past like people in the Bible, you will always see what God was calling out of them the whole time. Amidst the muck and the mire, amidst the challenges, amidst the, the, the burdens and the, and the barriers, he was doing something in them the whole time. And what they did was stay connected. They believed what he said about them. They believed that the ark would float. They believed that there was going to be— that there were going to be children. Abraham believed that. Paul believed that people would get saved by the writing of his pen. Jesus believed that if I come and I live a sinless life, somebody Nobody will believe. Rahab believed. If I take a risk and let these guys in, maybe I will be saved. There's this core of belief. When crazy stuff is happening all around, the Bible is made up of, and in my life, my life has been made up of people who had a core of imagining what God could do despite the craziness. And I believe that for you too. So I hope this has been a blessing for you today. If you want to join the Inner Circle, all you have to do is go to chrystalevanshurst.com/innercircle and we will see you there on the inside. And if not, know that every Sunday night, as many Sunday nights as I can, we share a video from inside the Inner Circle where we went live and had a little fun and foolery. And then also learn how to exercise the facts of who we are with the faith that is also belonging to us so that we can see change in our lives. And this is me hoping for you that you will do those 3 things wherever you need to do them and know that wherever you are, I'm cheering for you. All right, y'all, talk to you later. Have a great day. Bye.
