Chrystal Hurst got her eyebrows threaded and lips waxed. The wax ripped for three and a half seconds and left a bump she treated with Neosporin. She's switching to threading for future grooming to save money.
Okay, good morning.
It is Saturday, the morning after my threading and lip waxing escapades. I think I prefer the threading. The reason why I did both was because after all of my investigation, what I kept hearing over and over again was that threading would give me a cleaner and more defined brow than waxing would, but that waxing, because it was supposed to be one pain, that I could kind of get that over with quick, and there's no need to define anything. So I went for defined on the top and quick on the bottom. Well, the eyebrows were not so bad. The lip, number one, wasn't one rip, it was three and a half. Um, and it— because there was a lot of hair there to be ripped off, It was a little traumatic, as I've said before. So what the— well, I don't think she's an esthetician, but what the person that did it said was that once I had it waxed the first time, that I could thread it after that because there wouldn't be that much hair. So I may try threading it if I decide to do this again and see how that feels. I was also told that it will always hurt worse on the lips because the lips have softer tissue. This is just more sensitive. So, I don't, I don't know. Oh, and then the morning after, I woke up to find like that right there.
I don't know if you can see that or not. It's a little bump right there.
I went to bed last night. I had to put Neosporin. Someone told me to put Neosporin above my lip. I thought, you know, this is, this is just too much. It's just, it's just too much. But I did it, and I still have a bump. It'll go away. I don't typically have sensitive skin, but obviously my skin is telling me— my skin is trying to tell me something. So as of right now, if I choose to go back and reenact this whole shenanigan situation, I will thread the top and the bottom. And I have a few chin hairs. I had a bad fall. 2008, and I have this scar, and with that scar came hair. So I'm going to keep plucking those because I've gotten used to that. I think I'm going to pluck to keep this up because I can't afford to be having a regular beauty bill. But when I do go back, I think I will thread this and try threading that, and I will continue to pluck that. So this is the conclusion of the Mustache Chronicles. Still working on what the next chronicle will be. Somebody suggested the Spanx Chronicles, which I think would be completely hilarious. I just am not quite sure how I would demonstrate that. So we're still praying about what the Lord says the next chronicle should be about. Have a great day.
Kingdom woman!
