Chrystal Hurst built the Full Circle Planner because existing planners didn't work for her. She used notebooks to map out quarterly, monthly, and weekly plans, reviewing wins and losses each week. After spiritual confirmation that the system would help others, she turned her method into a bound physical planner.

Someone even said to me, why are you creating a planner? Because people always ask me, what do you do to plan your life? And I have had every planner in the world. None of them work for me. And so I have just random notebooks, but in those random notebooks I do the same thing. I look at the big picture of my life. I break that down into quarters. I put that into action plans for the quarter, actions for the month. I plan those things out in weeks and spaces that aren't big enough for me to write too many things down. I look at my weeks, see what worked and see what didn't. And I do this in a doggone Moleskine. Someone said, but how do you do it? So I wrote it down. Then I sent it to a graphic designer, sent it to a printer, downloaded it in a PDF in the membership. Then someone said, but you know, you could make it better. So I tried to make it better. And then we sent it to a local printer and then we bound it. And then I said, but I wanna make it better. And the Lord said to me, I just showed you that what you are doing is the right thing. And when I gave you the idea for how you wanted to write it down, that that idea would serve other people. And you keep thinking it's just these random things that you're doing, but no, it's full circle. It's full circle.
