Good morning, good morning, good morning everybody. Um, hopefully you can, uh, hear me and see me okay, or Well, nope, you can hear me. You cannot see me because I have to turn off the screen. Y'all, you would think by now I would have learned something. I'll tell you the weirdest thing. So I don't know how to fix it, but with me putting this on Instagram, I hear in my headphones I hear me say it once and then I hear myself say it again. So the whole time I'm talking to you, just know that I'm having issues because I'm hearing myself and I haven't figured out how to fix that. So if I ever stop and look like a deer in headlights, it's because I pretty much am. Just like, wait, did I just say that? It's just so— y'all, this is the deal, you know, when you're learning new things, there's all kind of, there's all kind of things that you just are trying to figure out. Okay, so see, this is Instagram on— I mean, it's a whole— it's fun, but I'm learning. And I'm learning, like, you know, kind of with the— I guess I would say I'm learning without a whole lot of help because most of the people that I follow ain't doing all this. So I Google here and then I Google there and then I figure this out. And then so anyway, there's no class for this. Ain't nobody doing all this but me every day, coming on live, trying to be helpful. Good morning. So, um, did I not bring up my coffee? Oh shoot. Uh, well, I had, I had a cup of tea this morning. I had blueberry hibiscus again, but apparently I drank it and I was gonna— and I refilled it. So let's see, there's a water over there. Hold on, I'm about to go get my water. While I'm doing that, I would love to hear from you what you are drinking. What are you drinking this morning? Let me go get my drink. Hold on. Okay, and I don't know if y'all can hear it in the background, but I went to sleep last night with, um, my relaxing massage playlist from, uh, from Spotify. So I think tomorrow, y'all, we'll have our We'll have our tech talk. Whoa, dropping things. I don't need that right now. So inner circle peeps, I see you with your drinks. Inner circle peeps, we are gonna put up a post. Marissa, Monique, we're gonna put up a post today in the inner circle asking our girls in there uh, what questions they have about tech. I can't answer all the questions about tech. It's not my gifting. However, I can answer some, and I'd love to have that, uh, information in advance. Fix this camera. So if you hear like some spa music in the background, that's because it's still playing. Spotify Y'all, I just don't want to pay for Apple Music and Spotify. It's a problem. So Inner Circle girls, look for that email today so I can know what your questions are and we can talk Apple, Android, Spotify. I really can't talk that much about Android. I'm sorry. I don't know anything about it. Maybe Shonda, maybe you'll join me and you'll give me all your pro Android situations. Did I just call you out? I did. Marissa Monique, let's make sure Shonda knows on her to come and join me. Good morning, good morning, good morning. Oh yes, you can hear my spa situation. So glad y'all can hear that. I'm going to let that continue to play. It's probably pulling on my Wi-Fi right now, but that's okay. If y'all don't know who I am, I am Chrystal Evans Hurst. You can find out more about me at chrystalevanshurst.com. And, um, um, I'm pausing because I hear myself in here. Let me take this out. I think y'all can hear me. If y'all are having problems hearing me or there's something I need to fix, tell me and I'll listen again. But I'm going to take this out of my ear so I can just talk and focus on y'all and not hearing myself in my ears. So chrystalhurst.com. If you're like, who, what, why, where? Um, I'm a writer, I'm a speaker, I'm an author. Most importantly, I'm an encourager who loves to help people to figure out what to do in very practical ways to live their lives well. What does that mean? I have been told a million times that the best thing I can do for myself, um, both in a ministry sense and in a business sense, is, is to niche down. Figure out, Chrystal Hurst, are you talking to moms? Are you specifically, um, talking to homeschoolers? Are you talking to tech geeky girls? Are you out here, um, making sure that women know the Bible? Are you here trying to help women build their business? Are you help women who want to be writers and speakers? Like, you have to niche down. And I'm like, I can't do it. I can't do it. I love encouraging everybody, and I love knowing that I'm not the only person who can, uh, encourage people in an excellent and technically excellent way. So then I love encouraging other women to encourage the women that I'm trying to encourage. And so I think if there were anything that you could specifically know about me, it's that I love to bring women together about the things that are important to them. And if I can discuss, uh, from my life, my expertise, my experience, what's important, I will. But if I can't, or if I don't feel like I know enough, I love bringing to the table friends that, um, that know more than I do, or have lived something I have not lived. And so therein lies the Sister Circle, you know, therein lies the Sister Circle. So that is what you will see when you go to my homepage at chrystalhurtz.com. You will see, um, right there in the banner information about the event that's happening this weekend. Um, so you can, uh, go to my website and click through to register, but you can also go to my website to read my blogs, to listen to my podcast, to see more about my books and all the things that I do to try to encourage you. Lori said, you don't have to niche down. Thank you. Thank you very much. Y'all, I started taking my hair out. I started taking it out. I started untwisting the twists. And then I was like, I don't want to, I don't want to finish this. So then I twisted it back up. So my goal is to take out my twists and to like have it out and looking liony and wildfirey for a second. They— we have been in twists now, has it been almost 4 weeks? Listen, it's a blessing to the body of Christ not to have to think about your hair. Yes, good question on Instagram, Miss Queen LA. I'm glad you ask it because I forgot to say it. So we are here for a little QC, which is quarantine content, so that you can exercise some QC, some quality control in your everyday life. It started out as a, hey, let me encourage everybody because we are all in this boat together. And I want to encourage people not to lose sight of the most important things. We started out with talking about fear and anxiety with Jan Greenwood. That post on YouTube is still alive. Um, but the reality is what I'm doing every day here is actually considered bonus content. And my inner circle is typically where I give bonus content to. Um, so it's alive here because we're all in need for goodness. It's COVID-19. We're in a quarantine situation. And then when they disappear, where they go to their final resting place is the Inner Circle Library. So that's what it is right now. Right now there are multiple levels of the Inner Circle. Only the first level is available where you can get this bonus quarantine content, but, um, the other levels were kind of shut down right now because we're doing a 21-day journey with all the other levels. It will open again on June 1st, and the first people to know about that will be the people in the Inner Circle who are there getting the quarantine content, um, long access to the quarantine content. Um, but if they want more, we tell them first and then we open it up to everybody else. So that's the Inner Circle. So I only say this stuff, y'all, because it's always somebody's first day. If you're like, I love you, Chrystal Hurst, and I love what you do and I love the community, but I don't want to spend any money, then the free group is the Facebook group. It's the Sister Circle group on Facebook where after we finish talking, sometimes I jump in there and stir up more conversation. So I don't even remember what the question was on Monday, but I will have another question today, Brittany, maybe, I think. So Facebook group, I want to encourage you to get in there because here's the deal. I am not the expert on everything. Actually, I'm the expert on very few things if I'm an expert at all. But when we come together and we share our collective knowledge, we are truly better together. And that is what the Sister Circle is all about. Now, if you are like, I have questions, I have questions about the event, I have questions for this weekend, I, I'm getting stuck, I need somebody from Chrystal Hurst's team to help me out, uh, with this event and with all the things that I'm trying to— where is it? Oh Lord, did I delete it? Good Lord Jesus. See, this is why Y'all are not helping me. I will type it up. I'll put it in here because many of y'all, I see your questions about the event in the comments and I want you to be able to get your questions answered. So let me type it here. The email, if you have questions about the event or some people are like, how do I, I signed up for the event, but now I want to be a summit person and you know, I want to up thing or I want to sponsor somebody. I mean, we've had a lot, so many of y'all. Sponsor somebody else who cannot afford to do it. So if you need to communicate with us about this event, um, oop, oop, hold on, let me fix it. Jesus, help. All right, I'm gonna change that color to that, and then I'm gonna change that color to that so you can see it. All right, there we go. Should be on the screen in just a second, Instagram, everybody. So basically you can email TSC see at chrystalevanshurst.com. Make it bigger so y'all can see, and, um, that will help you to get information or to get your questions answered. Okay, all right, listen, somebody's birthday is in the comments and I missed it, but I see y'all wishing her a happy birthday. I love that. Some of y'all have said that this feels like a little community because every morning when you get on not every morning, but some mornings, there are people out here in these streets who are— you're finding every time. And so you, you get familiar with people, um, seeing them out here. And that is awesome. That is truly, truly, truly, truly awesome. Okay, speaking of birthdays, um, you guys after I jump off of here. I don't even know if I can do this. Hmm, I don't know if I can do this. Um, my son's birthday is today. He turns 17. And so he's a pretty like low-key dude who's not going to want to do a whole lot, but I'm trying to, you know, just think of ideas for how to make sure he feels truly celebrated today. So I've got some signs that I'm gonna hang up around the house and just put them like so. No matter where he goes, he's running into the fact that we are totally celebrating him. Then we're gonna do a parade, but he's probably gonna think that that's whack, but whatever. How else are the people that love you gonna tell you happy birthday? But I'm here for all the ideas. So if y'all have ideas about how to celebrate a 17-year-old boy's birthday, I'm here for them, okay? Because of course I hadn't really thought much about it. I mean, I have, but you know, Netflix, um, has a thing where you can watch movies with your friends and then like you can sync it up so everybody can watch the movie and then you can like, um, comment about it. So if you have suggestions that would be a fun movie that's on Netflix for teenage boys to watch, I'm here for that as well. But here's the thing, I actually, I actually want y'all to do me a favor, okay? So hold on a minute. Oh, okay. I actually want y'all to do me a favor. What I'm doing right now, because, because I had this idea but I didn't, I didn't really think about it all the way in advance, and now I'm trying to see if I can do it. Did he change his password? That joker. Oh, I have a password keeper. This will be a part of our discussion tomorrow, probably. But basically, I have a password keeper, and the boys— the rule is, is that I have to know what their passwords are, you know what I mean? And I have a password— see, did he change his password? That joker changed his password. That's against the rules. It's against the rules. Okay, yes, the drive-through dropping off of gift cards have been a big hit. Yes, that's going to happen today. And then, yeah, I'm looking at y'all's suggestions. So first of all, is he going to get in trouble for his birthday? Because he changed his password? Should I let— should I let him live on that till tomorrow? Okay, here's what I'm gonna do. Here's what I'm gonna do. Okay, and then I will forward these to him. He's gonna get in trouble, y'all. You said mention it tomorrow? And Andrea, you're like, get him tomorrow. So I should be nice to him and get him tomorrow. Listen, these jokers, they think I'm playing with them. When I set rules, I mean it. I mean it. So what I was trying to do, which is why I couldn't do it, what I was trying to do, okay, here we go, is set up an alias so that I wouldn't give his whole birthday, uh, you know, his whole email to the thousands of you who are watching this. What is the problem? I don't understand what is happening right now. Huh, we have a problem, Houston, we have a problem. Okay, I'm gonna fix it. I gotta get, get to y'all. Deal with that tomorrow. Let him live because y'all, y'all listen, y'all listen. Is there someone he looks up to and admires? Have that person contact him. A surprise. Y'all are like, wait, oh yes, I could just set up a fake email for him. There you go. Thank you, Andrea. Um, Andrea, will you do that for me? Will you just set one up for me for him so I can focus on talking to everybody? Just go into Google and make one up, and then just let me know. Just text me what the, what the email and the password is. That would be super helpful. Let me know if you can do that. Vicki said, please wait until tomorrow. Okay, y'all, all right, calm down. Uh, like, uh, what's her name, uh, Nicole Walters always calls all the women who speak into her life the internet aunties. Okay, internet aunties, calm down, settle down. I'll get them good tomorrow. But I feel like there's a reason why, because actually my password isn't working now. So I'm like, uh, yeah, that's what we'll do. There we go. Okay. All right. So let me, let me get to what I want to talk to you about today. So it's his birthday and I actually was going to, yeah, let me know what it is. Cause then I have another idea that I'll come back. 17 things he likes. That's a great idea. Y'all are full of ideas. Are you sure? Yeah, well, the thing is I typed the address slowly and then I copied and pasted the password. So he might be innocent. It's true. Okay. I will stop. I will stop. I will stop. I will, I will leave it alone. Okay, y'all. So here's what I wanted to talk to you about today. It's actually hard for me not to hear. I'm so used to hearing myself in here, but it's distracting. And I'm being calmed down by the music that's playing. Okay, can we still upgrade for Friday's event? Yes. How old are your boys before you let them have their own passwords without the— without you checking on them? You know what, probably when they have their own lives. Like when they leave, when they leave. I mean, and the thing is, is honestly, it's not even so that I check on them. I don't, it's for this stuff like this. Cause I actually have all of their past. Okay. I'm not going to get all the way into it. Okay. And, and the reason I have this is because of school. It's not really um, it's, it's not really for another reason. I have a family Gmail account, um, and all of my children's emails are forwarded to that family Gmail account. And I have folders for each one of the boys so that if, you know, because, you know, it's homeschool, and while they do have outside teachers, it's a lot of communication. And some of it is for them, some of it is for mom. And so I don't, I want their logins basically just to be able to functionally keep up with their crap. So I don't even need to log into their email to see their emails. It just comes to me. But what I did do is I set up their iClouds that way. And then I set up a Gmail for them. Um, and the Gmail, I grabbed their same login except instead of @icloud, @gmail, so that when they leave and are trying to be— when they start doing things official separately from me, they have a Gmail. But, um, that's kind of the— you know what I mean? So y'all are teaching me now that I have to like type in the password. Okay, I'll try it again. Anyway, um, okay, 1 7 8 new beginnings. Accountability is good. Yeah, I mean, and it's really not a snoop thing, but I have their passwords so that if I need to snoop, I just can log on. Like another rule is, um, you don't
