In this short lyrical excerpt from Claire Hayek's performance "Cheers To What's Next" (UPW Birmingham), the sole speaker delivers a repetitive, song‑like refrain that celebrates the emotional high of being with a loved one. The verses repeatedly declare "this is the best part" while describing the partner’s eyes as "full of stars" and the effect of their actions on the speaker’s heart. Imagery of echoing voices, hallways, and a piece of the heart adds a poetic, affectionate tone, creating a catchy musical hook that emphasizes love‑filled enthusiasm.

Chapters

When I see your eyes full of stars, I know this is the best part. This is the best part. This is the best part. This is the best part. Oh oh when you do what you do to my heart. This is the best part. This is the best part. This is the best part. This is the best part. This is the best part. Oh oh. When you do what you do to my heart, this is the best part. Hear the echoes of your voice chasing me down the hall. If you call out my name, I get a piece of our heart.
