In this introductory episode of the “Saboteur & Sage” song‑analysis series, the host (Speaker A) explains the core ideas of Positive Intelligence – the Saboteur (the part of the mind that works against us), the Sage (the part that works for us), and the Judge (the internal critic). The host proposes that listening to song lyrics is a practical exercise for spotting these mental patterns, because songwriters often embed emotional experiences in their words. As a concrete example, the host plays a short excerpt from Benson Boone’s “Beautiful Things” (performed by Speaker B) and promises to point out where the lyrics reveal the Judge, Saboteur, or Sage. The segment ends with a call for viewers to suggest future songs, like, and follow the series.
