Yellow Duet [Coldplay | Alto Key]
This YouTube video is a musical cover of Coldplay’s hit song “Yellow,” performed as a duet in an alto key. Claire Hayek sings the opening lines, inviting a partner to sing along, and delivers the lyrics with an intimate, emotive tone. The arrangement shifts the original song’s key to suit alto vocal ranges, emphasizing vocal harmony and expressive delivery. The excerpt captures the singer’s affectionate phrasing (“your skin… I love you so”) and sets the mood for a heartfelt reinterpretation of the classic track.
