This video segment (from Ethan Khoza's "4 Ball Handling Drills You Should Be Doing!") teaches a "pocket pulls" dribbling drill. Key instructions: use two dribbles, pull the ball from the opposite side of a cone into your "pocket" (as if into a hoodie), vary the dribble location each rep, and try to extend reach (even nearly behind-the-back). A variation adds an exchange (between-the-legs or behind-the-back) after the pocket pull. Emphasis is placed on changing pace (relaxed to explosive), changing direction and height, and getting comfortable with lateral movement. Coach gives credit to Danny Cooper for the drill.
