Derrick Rose is one of the most electrifying players in NBA history and many argue the most athletic point guard of all time. After spending one year in college at Memphis, Derrick Rose was drafted first overall by the Chicago Bulls and immediately made his mark winning Rookie of the Year and then an MVP trophy just two years later. Unfortunately, an incredibly bright future for Derrick Rose was derailed by multiple injuries. But despite enduring multiple season ending injuries year after year, Derrick Rose came back and reinvented himself. The high flying, electric athlete we once saw is no longer Rose's game. He now makes his mark with his incredible basketball IQ and uniquely developed skill set. This workout will focus on the ability to attack the basket using different moves, the ability to shift your defender, and the ability to hit shots off the dribble. Let's get into it real quick.
