Transcript excerpt from a YouTube coaching video by Ethan Khoza describing an adaptive shooting drill. The drill modifies spot-up shots by delaying hand raises and introducing bad or late passes to train quick hand preparation, shooting from unclean catches, adaptability to irregular passes, and adding a pressure rule (make three shots without missing two in a row).

You're gonna keep your hands behind your back and it's got to be like blocked like that. Starting off like that, I'm gonna pass it to you. You're waiting for the last possible second to get your hands up for it as long as you can wait.
So right here we're taking normal spot up shots and we're adjusting them so that we're able to work on different qualities that translate to the game. The first thing is being able to get your hands ready fast and then being able to shoot when it's an unclean catch as well when you get your hands up late, and then being able to do both of those things when it's a bad pass, that pass to the left, to the right, high, slow, being adaptable and able to make the shot regardless of the pass. And then on top of that, we add a pressure element to this where she's got to make three shots without missing two in a row. So now she's got to be able to handle all of that and deal with the pressure.
