FULL Ball Handling Workout (Do This Daily)

Ethan Khoza walks through a daily ball-handling routine: pound dribbles in 5-high, 5-low cycles, tap-cross drills for 12 reps, and cross-behind progressions. He mixes stationary work with footwork and emphasizes the contrast between high and low dribbles to build control and hand speed.

A little bit of pound stuff. So we'll go five high, five low. And we're just gonna repeat that five times at the same hand. So I start myself here with it on 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, right to the 1, 2, 3, 4,. 5, and then right to that 5 again. We'll get five total cycles through. So 50, and then switch it. We'll go left hand 50, those two. So now we'll go tap crosses. So this will just be one right here. We'll end up doing 12 total. But that first dribble is just going to be a pound up here and then it becomes there with it. And then I'm same thing with the left. Okay. Just try and kill that thing as close to the ground as you can. So now it's going to be same thing, but it's going to be two of those low dribbles before you go. Still stationary with it. Gonna go four high, four low. But it's gonna be crosses now. So we'll go cross between behind with it. So I can keep my four low ones just real quick. So 1, 2, 3, 4. And then I'm wide. 2, 3, 4, 4. We'll cycle through. We'll go three of that. So I'll go through those four or three times. And then we'll go between super low quick. We'll raise up, go between. And then we'll do same thing with behind. Yeah, yeah. It'll be like fingers cross is just like super low and narrow. So 1, 2, 3, 4. And then you get your super wide ones. So we've done these. We'll go feet planning for right now you only have crossovers between behinds right here. Trying to keep that ball like here, but it's just pounding it as hard as you can every time you make that there. Okay. Feet are staying stationary for the first part. Same thing. But those feet are moving now. So you're still stationary but no keeping playing. Okay, so mixing in. I know talked about like the shifts and stuff like that, but mixing in there with it. Get some movement going with it. We'll go three of them. So I'm 1, 2, 3. And then any sort of change of hand move doesn't matter. One, two, three, doesn't matter. Okay, we'll just get. Actually, let's get 10 right here. 10 right here. Yeah, 10 total. You to get the whole way across with that now. And then you're gonna go right to a behind out of it. So on one, two. And I'm right to there with it. One, two, right to There. But I want you to be thinking about, okay, when this becomes easy. Because this. The first one we did should be easy. It is easy, right? Second one a little bit harder. But eventually you'll get better at it. So what's another way you can make that more challenging? What could you add to it? What could you change about it? Could do that. I like that. I like that a lot. So there's an option right there. Could do that. Reason I say that is because we're going to go, like, that'll be the first two. So first one we did, second one we did, third one is going to be something you choose there. Okay, so just be thinking about that. It's just a freestyle here. So we're going to go five low moves and then five high moves, right? So I'm starting myself. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. 1, 2. And then just raising up high and low, 5 and 5. I really want to be able to tell. I really want to be able to tell the difference, though, between your high and your low. I know everything's just kind of like. Like, maybe. Maybe lows here, high's like, there. Like, I want it to go from. To. I can tell something about, like, the pounds we're doing there, where you're, like, as high up as possible. Like, that's how the high one should feel. So it should be very clear. Difference between high and low. There you go. Go. That's where we got to be, though. There's movement right there going high to low. So that's why it matters. And that's why you have to, like, you have to challenge yourself with that. And, like, that's got to happen, like, throughout all this. Like, that's got to happen. And then the last thing is, remember, we did the music freestyle so that it doesn't need to be like, you don't need to go, you know, six minute Drake song. Do the whole thing. I'm not saying do that. At least give, like, go for, like a verse. Like a verse verse. Unless you really get into it. You're just like, you know, I think I got to go through my whole playlist now. You. If you want to do that, that's fine, but give it a verse or so and then we're set with it.
