Shout out to all the guys in the perimeter score system who are in here right now. Nellie, that's awesome. Ian, some strength and conditioning practice. What's up, guys? We're gonna start about a minute from now. All good, Ian. All good. Davison. What's up, Dribble kid. Maddox, how you guys doing? About 30 seconds going. Jeremiah, how's it going, man? A lot of ball control stuff today. Gonna add in some creativity, too. Awesome. Every single workout. Good job. Nathan, good work. Deuce 2 Cold. Jared, what's up? The baller. Maxwell, Steven, how you guys doing? All right, grab that basketball, guys. Let's get going. So some of you guys have probably been here when we've done this before. This is one of my favorite drills, my favorite series to do because it really is going to help you guys control the basketball so much better. Okay? If you push your speed right here, you're going to get a lot better even in this workout we're going to do right now. Okay, so this is our side to side V dribble series. Okay? We're going to add a lot of creativity to it as well today, so you can really get all those benefits. So all that we're going to do to start off, when we do our normal V dribbles, a lot of times we're going to be narrow in like this, right? For this workout, we're going to go wide for these. So we're going outside of your frame. So see how the ball is getting out wide like that? That's how your V dribble is going to look for this workout. Okay? So understand that. But to start, what we're going to do is, is we're going to go three narrow V dribbles like this. One, two, three, directly into three wide. So after that, one, two, three, between. Same thing. One, two, three. One, two, three, between. Okay, we're going to get eight total. All right, so you saw that three, three between. That's one, two, eight total. Let me know when you're done. Here we go. Three. One, two, three. One, two, three. 1, 2, 3. 1, 2, 3. One, 2, 3. One, two, 3. One, two, Three. One, two, Three. Job, guys. Keep it up. Get those handles nice and warmed up. Nice and warmed up for sure. Ian, come back and do it later. We'll be up right after we're done here. Awesome. Davison, keep working, keep working. Good job, guys. Good job. All Right. So set two. Same exact thing. Do the same exact thing again. Three narrow, three wide between. Okay, we got eight again. Here we go. Three. One, two, three. One, two, three. Good job, guys. And for those of you who are here for these, you know, my thing I always say is you have to push your speed. You have to work, because the faster you go with these drills, the. The better you're going to get. So, like I always say, lose the ball. That's fine. It's okay. If you lose the ball during these drills, you should lose the ball. Happy birthday, Jared. That's right. It should be hard if you really push the speed when you do these at. All right, good work, guys. Good work, guys. All right, so now gonna go straight with those wide V dribbles, okay? So for these next few series, all of our V dribbles are gonna be the wide ones, okay? So all of them are gonna be out there. Make sure we get that ball outside of our frame back there, really wide on those V dribbles. Okay? We're gonna go V dribbles into a crossover now. Okay, so how this is gonna look? Gonna be here? 1. Pushing that speed, just going back and forth with that cross. All right, There, there. Okay, we have 14. 14 reps. Let me know when you're done. Here we go. Good job, guys. And so, hey, one more quick thing for you guys to recognize is a lot of times, you know, coaches will tell you that there's one stance for whatever in basketball, for dribbling, if you're doing ball handling, you got to have your feet shoulder width apart, and that's how you got to do it. That's not true, though, because in the game, there's these times where you're going to be here. Sometimes you're going to be here. It all depends. Right now, we're going to be able to be low as well. So you want your feet to be nice and wide here, okay? Don't let them stay in here. Get those feet nice and wide so you can get nice and low on those. Okay? Good job. Good job. All right. Hey, hopping right back into it. Same set. All right, Dean, do that crossover. Got 14. Here we go. Good job, guys. Keep it up. Keep it up. We're going to keep going with some of these single crossovers, and we're going to do some creative stuff, too. Really getting those handles warmed up, pushing that speed every single rep. Good job. Maxwell Dribble. Kid Davison, the baller. Good job, guys. Okay, so next one gonna go V between. All right, Same exact Thing we're here. Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom on that. All right, 14 again. Let me know when you're done here. We. Good job, guys. Get better here. Get better, you guys. Couple seconds. Good job, Maxwell. Good. You should mess these up. You should mess them up. That's the point. All right, same thing. Set 2V between 14. Let me know when you're done. Hey, as we get going, you guys should be going even faster with these V dribbles. As we get more and more warmed up, you guys have to feel good. Keep pushing that speed. Good job, guys. Nice little baller. Good work, good work. Okay, now going V behind the back. Okay, same thing. 14 reps. Let me know when you're done. Yeah, if you need to get some water, you can. We're gonna take a water break in in a couple seconds though, right for the second set. Dribble K. Good work. Depends what kind of injury you're talking about. The baller. Good work, good work. Okay, back into it. Same exact thing. V behind the back. We got 14 again. Here we go. Come on. Good work, guys. Hey, if you need a drink, grab one real quick. Got a 30 second break. Keep working, guys. Solid 10 minutes in now. We're gonna pick it up. This is where it gets more fun. But I'm telling you, if you guys are consistent with drills like this, your ball handle is gonna get so much, so much better. So much better. That's really the key to it, is being able to develop your ball control. When players ask me, how can I become better ball handler? You got to be able to, in these drills, push the ball at really fast speeds. When you get in games, you can control it. You can go gain speed. You guys, about 10 more seconds. 10 more seconds. Hopping into it again. All right, grab that ball, guys. Now we're doing ball in your right hand to start. Gonna go V dribble. Any sort of double crossover you want. Okay, so I could be V dribble between, cross, V dribble, double cross, V dribble, between, between, V dribble, between behind, whatever you want it to be. Make sure it's a double cross, though. That ball is gonna end up back in your right hand. Okay, so two types of crossovers back to your right hand. Okay, you're gonna go 14 reps with your right hand, then you're gonna switch, go 14 with your left hand. Okay, let me know when you're done. Here we go. Good job. Good job. Keep pushing it. Good job, guys. Let me know who else is finished. Let me know who Else is finished. Jeremiah, good work. Good work, guys. Give you guys a couple seconds. Going to set two right here. All right, so again, keep those legs wide. Wide V dribble. Really quick on those crossovers. Okay, Back to that. Right hand, 14 reps. Left hand, 14 reps. Double crossovers. Again. Let me know when you're done. Be creative on these. Here we go. Good stuff, guys. Keep it up. 14 minutes in, being creative. These should really get tough when you guys push yourselves here. Good job so far. Good job. Awesome, Sam. Good job, baller. All right, good. Now go to go into triples. Okay, so that wide V dribble still. Boom, boom, 1, 2, 3. Now it'll be in your other hand. Okay, so again, wide. One, two, three. Okay, again, switching up those combos and being creative with it. All right, going to go 15 reps. Actually, no, we're going to go 20 reps. 20 reps. Let me know when you're done. Here we go. It. Good work. Good work. For sure. See you. Ready? See you. See you later, Reed. R L. Good work, Davidson. Yup, it's getting tough. Good job, Jeremiah. Got a couple more dribble. Kid the baller. Good work, guys. Good work. Give you guys a couple seconds. You guys want to grab a quick drink? Quick drink. Good work, Maddox. All right, grab that ball, guys. Going back to it. We got our second set of those triples. Wide v, creative triples. 20 reps. Let me know when you're done. Here we go. It tough. Good job, guys. Keep it up. 18 minutes in. Keep working, keep working, keep working. Good job, guys. Good job, Good job. Here we go. Keep going, keep going. Strong here. All right, we're gonna switch it up right here. So now what you're doing, you're keeping your feet planted, okay? Feet planted. Gonna go away from the V dribble for now. Although, actually, you can. You can keep the V dribble if you really want to, but you don't have to do it. Now, we're gonna work on just a creative freestyle, okay? But you're gonna listen because it's gonna be a certain way I want you to do it. So have your feet planted again. You keep them wide, and we're going low. Quick crossover combos, okay? So that means we're here the whole time, okay? We're not slowing and giving any hesitations or raising up there, okay? Just low, quick the whole time, okay? So gonna do that. We're gonna get 40 total crossovers, okay? 40 crossovers or about if you lose track. 40 crossovers, let me know. When you're done low, all as quick as you can go. Okay. No speed changes here. All right, here we go. Tough. Good work, guys. 20 minutes in. Oh, you're good. You. Yeah, you. Yeah, you can go through. Good. Grab a drink real quick. Got a couple more of those. We're gonna switch out this creativity. So right here, you guys really got to make sure that this is the time to. To. And the reason that I want to incorporate creativity stuff is because in a game, there's no set thing you're gonna do. Like, you're not going to. Oh, okay. Every time down the floor, I'm gonna do a crossover than between the legs. Like, you have to be able to read and react. So being able to be creative, go into all sorts of different moves. That's what it's all about. You good? Try not to hit me. But that's what I'm talking about. We're talking about creativity. It's your ability to react better in games. Okay. And that's why we work on this right here. So. So a mistake a lot of players make is they just do their typical, like, pound crossover, pound between pound behind, but they don't actually switch it up and be creative with it. That's a problem. So that's what you got to work on right here. Again, pushing that speed the whole time as well. Okay, we're going to go one more set of those. Okay. Feet planted low, quick crossovers. All right, again, we got 40 reps. Let me know when you're done. Here we go. It. Whoo. Good job, guys. Good work. Good work. Let me know who's done. Let me know who's done. Got a couple more. Couple more. Dribble kick. Good work. Good work. The baller. Good job, guys. Davison. I like you guys. All right, so now we had our feet planted that time, and we were doing no sort of speed changes. Okay. This time, we're going to be able to change speeds, change heights, and our feet can switch. So it's really just like a complete freestyle. Okay. With no. Really. Not really any regulations. So I can be there, there. Raise up there. All right, so I'm free to do whatever I want right here. You can raise up, you can slow down, you can speed up. Okay. But make sure you're creative. You keep switching it up. Okay, we're going to go. I'll actually give you guys the time. We're going to go for 30 seconds. Okay, 30 seconds. I'll let you know when to stop. Ready? Go it. Good. Done. Good job, guys. Like I always say it's okay to lose the ball. Right here, it's okay to lose the ball. We got two more sets of those, and we're done. All right, we got two more sets of those. I'll give you guys a couple seconds. Catch your breath. Okay, again. Push that speed. Be creative. Switching heights. Yeah, man, you got to be careful out here. That's happened to me multiple times. I can't even lie. All right, going back to it again. 30 seconds, freestyle. Whatever you want. Ready? Go. Done. One more, guys. One more. Stick with it. Stick with it. The plastic bag method. I mean, I. I think gloves are better, personally. Like wearing, like, winter gloves gloves without any grip, I think that's better. But I think the plastic bag method is still good. I think they both help. You don't do it all the time, but just switch it up sometimes. It's cool, like doing this stuff with a plastic bag. We really, really hard. So you ever want to try that? We'll probably do that at some point during a workout. We've done it before with. With gloves, but we might do it again, so we'll see. All right, last set. Last set of those. Here we go. 30 seconds. Whatever freestyles you want. Here we go. Go. Done. Good job, guys. Great work today. Great work. Stuck it through both 25 solid minutes right there. And again, all about creativity, Your ability to react, use whatever move that you need to use in a game. One of the key components to ball handling that a lot of players are missing is that they don't have any creativity in it. They don't switch things up. They don't make themselves just play. It's all about just playing basketball. And a lot of times, you know, when you're doing your bow handling workouts, you just add in some creativity at the end right there. It's gonna. You're gonna see your results. Your ball handling in games get so much better. Good work. Jeremiah Davison Maddox. How to increase shooting range. Yeah, I will. Just some tips off the bat. The number one thing is you got to be strong enough to do that. Like, if you just aren't strong, then. And your form suffers because you can't. Like, you can't launch the ball far enough that you got to switch up your form. If you move back, you got to get stronger. So for a lot of younger players, that's the case. Then at that point, if you're strong enough, it's really just about. If you're strong enough, you have good mechanics, it's only about getting reps up so you want to get better from the NBA line, move back and start shooting more NBA threes, assuming you're strong enough and you can keep your form and your form is already good. That's really what it comes down to. But I'll probably talk about that. I might talk about another podcast. We'll see. Yeah. Great work today, guys. You guys, any more questions, let me know, I'll. I'll check out. Gonna record the podcast either tomorrow or Friday, so if you have any questions you want me to answer, send me a DM on Instagram @ Vision Driven Basketball. And if I don't answer it to you there, then it'll be something I talk on the podcast. Yeah. Good work. Good job, Maxwell. It's all right. For sure, guys. Great work today again.
