Ethan Khoza breaks down a progressive drill for pull-up shots off the dribble. Start with crawl pull-ups, add a between dribble to cross the free-throw line, then a turn dribble to either elbow, and finish with a reactionary version where the coach calls the direction.

So right here we're working pull ups coming off of a crawl start. Really challenging our ability to handle high speeds and identify the rim quickly and make the shot. So we're starting off with just a quick between, then another move to get past the free throw line. For our next variation, he's going to take a third dribble. It's going to get him lateral out to either elbow, and that can either be a turn dribble or a push cross. Again adding other elements of momentum and difficulty to these shots. Once we've done that, for our next variation, I'm going to give him a call that's either going to be left or right. And when I do that, it's telling him which elbow he's getting to. So now we have a reactionary element to it. Add another level of challenge to it.
