What's up, everybody? Someone snapped in the backboard. Will it help with your blocks? It's a good question. I've never tried. It doesn't really seem like it. I don't think so. How's everyone doing today? Heard that Maxwell Respect Five makes at seven different spots. Mid range. Five makes five makes different spots. Five makes it five different spots. Three point got in here. Yo. We'll get going in about 30 seconds, guys. Got going about 30 seconds. What's up, Sam? Five makes seven different spots mid range. Five makes five different spots. 3.5 days a week. Yes. If you're going game speed, it'll make you a better shooter. How do you get better at jumping passing lanes There a drill. Yeah, you. I mean that's like a team drill thing you probably do in your team practices. Trash can suddenly a whole defender. Yes, you can do that. Jeremiah, how's it going? Toddy, Daniel, how's it going? Everybody give you guys about, about 15 more seconds. We'll get going. We'll get going. Arnav for sure. Justin. You guys have questions for me, make sure you drop them. Let me know. How do you get better at driving and finishing? I mean, you got to play more basketball and work on driving. All right, grab that ball. Get into it. So today's workout is going to be a lot of creativity sort of things. All right. Being able to be creative with the basketball and react to how the defense is playing. You're going to have a bunch of everything you can go to whenever depending on how the defense is going to play you. So first thing we're going to start off with, we're going to be working on some pound dribbles, some pound crossovers. How this is going to work. Very first thing we're going to go pound cross between behind. Okay. So I'm going to be here. Pound cross between behind, same thing. Pound cross, cross between behind, same thing there. Just repeating that for now. Okay, we're going to get 10 total reps. Here we go. Job. Maxwell, gonna go one more. One more of those. Same exact thing. £ cross between behind here we push that speed here, guys. Push that speed of that bowl. Isoprents. What's happening, Sid? Tv Good work, Sam. Good work. Chef supreme. What's up? Alright, so after we finish that, gonna get into a little bit more creativity with the ball now. So you're gonna go pound into any sort of crossover you want. So it could be a crossover or between or behind, but you're only gonna do one. Okay. So it might be pound between, pound, cross, pound behind, pound, cross, pound between, whatever you want to be. Only one crossover, so no pound, cross, cross. Don't do that. Pound between, pound, another move. All right, so single crossovers now winning over 20. All right, you got to get 20 as fast as you can. Here we go. Good job, guys. Push that speed with these. Like I always say, don't be afraid to mess it up. So we'll get better, man. Here's the thing. You guys are asking me about vertical. Have you guys seen me jump before? Like, you guys don't even know if I can jump. So you don't even know if I know any good vertical workouts. That's all I'm saying. Good job, Derek. About 10 more seconds. 10 more seconds. We'll hop into it. We're gonna go back to those single crossovers again. Alright, pound, single crossover, same exact thing. Switch it up as fast as you can go. Here we go. Let me know when you're done. Now it's time to get better. Yeah, this will be up. This workout will be up as soon as it's over. You can, you can watch this again. No, I'm back in the gym now, so I'm not doing vert shock. I might get on a different one, but I have so much stuff going on. Might drop a video on that at some point, but we'll see. All right, so getting into it now, we're going pounds between. We'll go pound into a double cross. So whatever sort of double cross you want will go into. Okay, so again, that could be a double cross there. That could be between, between, between, behind, between, cross, cross, between. We're gonna go right hand right now. Okay? So ball in your right hand. You got to get 15. When you get done with your right hand, switch to your left hand. Do the same thing. Pound, double cross, 15 each side. Let me know when you're done. Here we go.
8, 14, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 5, 10, 11, 12, 40.
Good job, guys. Yeah, I answer that already. I don't. I mean, it's not. It'll help you jump higher if you do it enough. But if you want to get better at blocking shots, you got to actually block more shots. Like play more games and block more shots. Learn how to time it up. Love to hear that. Those bodyweight workouts, even if you guys can get back in the gym, if you aren't able to, or even if you're in the gym, you can do those, those still. And you'll still get better. All right, so same exact thing again pound in some sort of double crossover. Got 15 per side. K15 per side. And then we'll go ahead and switch sides. 15 right, 15 left. Let me know when you're done. Good work, guys. Good work. So far. Eight and a half minutes in. Keep working. Vert shock is if you just Google, you'll find it. I'm not endorsing it. I can't tell you if it works or not. I'm skeptical of programs that offer massive results with, like, very little amount of time put into it. But, I mean, if you want to try it for yourself, I have yet to complete it, so I can't give you my. My review of it. Good job, guys. You guys have some water with you. Grab it real quick. If you guys. About 20 seconds. We'll hop into about 10 more seconds. 10 more seconds. All right, grab that ball again. Going triple crossovers now. Okay. Pounds some sort of triple crossover. We're gonna go 25 reps total. Okay. You should be switching hands each time anyway. So we need to switch hands. Actually. We're gonna go 24. Okay. 24 total reps. Let me know when you're done here. We.
It.
Make sure we're working that speed here, guys. Get better controlling that basketball. How come the NBA is not as flashy as street ball? Because NBA players are way better than all the street ballers that you see. The defense is too good. Exactly, Sid. That's exactly what it is. All right, back into it. Same exact thing. Going with 24 triple crossovers. Again pound as quickly as you can get through those three crossovers. That's how you'll get better controlling the basketball. So it's all about. Don't be afraid to mess it up. All right, here we go. 24. Let me know when you're done. Don't be afraid to mess it up. Here we go. 12 minutes in, guys. Keep working. Keep working. Good job, Jeremiah. And these workouts. Being able to be creative with your crossovers, with your moves, being able to switch back and forth will help you when you get to games. Because when you're in games, there is no set thing you're gonna do. So if all you do is work on planned moves, then when you get to games and you can't plan your moves out anymore because you have defense there, teammates, all of a sudden, it's gonna be hard for you. So you have to make sure you incorporate some creative stuff into your training because it's gonna allow you to react to how the defense is actually playing you. When people ask about how do they get more counters in their game? Like, coach, how do I do? What do I do when the defense does this? Being able to do this type of stuff and going from being able to go, you know, one time between the legs, next time it's between cross. Just playing basketball. That's how you get those. Those counters. Just being able to react to the defense. Okay, back to your right hand now. We got four pounds, four crosses. Okay, Whatever you want to do. We're gonna go 20 reps, right hand, 20 reps, left hand. Okay? So every time with your right, the ball should be back in your right hand. Every time with your left, should be back in your left hand. We got 20 per side. Let me know when you're done. Here we go. Keep working, guys. Push that fatigue. Get better, get better. Great work, guys. 15 minutes in. Stick with it. Stick with it. Get better right here. Get better right here. Good job, Daniel. Lose that basketball. Now it's time to look good. Not now. It's time to do that. It's okay to look bad right now. We're trying to look good when the game comes. Good job, guys. Good work, Sam. Good work. Give you guys about 30 seconds. About 30 seconds. You guys want to grab a quick drink? Go ahead. Good work, Daniel. Go work, guys. About 20 more seconds. 20 more seconds. Good job, guys. We got 10. We got 10. All right, here we go. Grab that ball. Going back with four. Same thing again. Ball in your right hand. Pound this time. We're going 15 reps, though. Okay, you got 15 reps with your right hand, 15 with your left hand. Let me know when you're done. Here we go. Push that. Speed.
It.
Here we go, guys. Get better. Here we go. Good job, guys. Sam, good work. Good work, Chef supreme. Good job. Keep it up, guys. Daniel, good job. Good job, man. Push that fatigue here, guys. We're almost done. Push that fatigue, you guys. About 20 seconds. About 20 seconds. Hopping in the next one. All right, guys, so now, last one in this order going into five. All right, so this time, again, the ball should be switching hands every time. So we're gonna go with 20 straight reps, all right? 20 reps, five crossovers. Being creative as fast you can. Let me know when you're done. Here we go.
It.
20 minutes in, guys. Good work. Good work. Got a couple more. Stick with it. Got a couple more. 11:00pm in Russia. I think Drake has a song called 11:00pm in Russia. Yeah, you got to be able to count those dribbles. Add another factor to it right there. Jeremiah, good Work. Good work. For sure, Justin. For sure, man. Maxwell. Good job, Wiz. Good job. All right, we got one more set of those. One more set of those. All right, here we go. As fast you can. 20 reps, five crossovers. Let me know when you're done. Good job, guys. We got one more thing, and we're done. Got one more thing, and we're done. Good job, Sam. Got about 30 seconds, guys. 30 seconds, we'll hop into our last drill. Gonna combine those last two. Still working on our ability to be creative right here. Oh, got this rain starting, too. Nice, Daniel. Good job. Good job. All right, guys, grab that ball now. Grab that ball. Now what we're gonna do is we're gonna combine all five of those combos. So first time, you're gonna go pound single crossover. Then it's gonna be pound double crossover. It's a pound, triple crossover. Pounds four, pound, five.
Okay?
Then you're going to repeat the same thing with your. With your other hand. So you start right hand, then you're going to go left hand. Okay, we got to get 10 reps. All right, 10 reps. As fast as you can go. Let me know when you're done. Here we go.
1, 2, 3, 4. 1, 2, 3. 1, 2. 1, 2, 3. One, two, four. One. One, two. One, two, three. One, two, three. 1, two, three. 1, 2. One, two. 1, two, three. One, 2. 1, 2, three. 1, 2, three, four. 1, 2, four. One, two. One, 2, three. One, 2, three, four. One, two, three. One, two. One, two, 3. One, two, three, four. One, 2, three. One, two. One, two, three. One, 2, three, four. One, two, three, four, five. One, two, one, two, three. One, Two, three, four. One, Two. One, Two, three. One, Two, Three, four.
Good job, guys. Great work today. Like I explained, the power of being creative, of being able to be creative, is so massive because like I said, when you're in games, there are no set things you're gonna do. You gotta be able to react how the defense plays, and that's how become effective. So if you find that you're training a lot and it's not paying off for you in games, then evaluate how much time you spend being creative. So that goes back to a workout like this. We're working on creative moves also. How often are you playing? How often are you playing against, you know, one on one, five on five, where you have to react to a live defender? That's a skill you have too. Shooting is a skill. Ball handling is a skill. Being able to react is another skill that's arguably as important as those other ones. So you got to make sure that you focus on that when you train. It can't just be, I did my pounds today. I did my crossovers today. I did my shooting today. You also got to make sure you're working on the other part of it, too. Walk them roaches up. That's right, Maxwell. Good job. Good job, Jamiah. Also good job today, guys. Really good work. So today. Today's Wednesday. You guys have any questions for me, send me a DM on Instagram visiondrivenbasketball podcast. Recording it on Friday. It'll be out on Sunday. I have a couple more videos coming out this week. And yeah, we'll have potentially a workout this week. We'll definitely have a workout this weekend. Make sure you follow me so you know exactly when that's going to be. Tooth pulled good, Max. The way to do the best you can. That's all you can do. For sure. Daniel. Thanks for tuning in, Jeremiah. For sure. For sure, Chef. Chef supreme. Appreciate you guys tuning in. Any last questions, drop them. I'll answer them for you. If not, I'm a head out through for sure. All right, guys. For sure.
