What's up everybody? What's up? Let's work. Jaden. Lk. What's up guys? What's up? We're going in about a minute. About a minute. Let you guys get in, get going. Do a lot of. A lot of ball control stuff to get started. Go work on some change of pace. Then we're going to do some creativity stuff as well. So really going to hit a bunch of different parts. Rishi, what's up Celtics fan. I see you sundream videos. Sam Gorman. What's up? Get started in about 30 seconds guys. 30 seconds. Go Celtics. I'm with it. Domination. Daniel. JT3 basketball. What's up guys? Get ready to work. Said about about 20 more seconds. We're gonna get started. Amir, what's good? For sure. Yeah, Kemba is tough. About 10 seconds. We'll get going. Let you guys get in. Lil. Jaden, what's up? You're good. Dan, you can tune back in later if you want to. This will be up when I'm done, so whenever you want to do it. Alright. Hey, grab your basketball. Let's get going. So gonna get warmed up a little bit. Do some real basic stationary stuff. Okay, we're gonna start off with pounds and we're gonna do a double crossover out of that. Okay. So ball's my right hand and start off going pound double, pound double. We're gonna go. We're gonna go 15 right, 15 left, switching. Let me know when it good. Really push the speed on these. Go as fast as you can. Go. Done. Good work. All right, here's our next one. Pound cross between. Boom. There. Got 15 each hand. How's it going? Yeah, you're. Yeah, you're good. Good work. What's up, Jaden? Nine. I might do something like that at some point. We'll see. Good job, lk. Andreas. What's up, Sam? Good work. Okay, our next one we're going pound between behind. Okay, I'm here. Pound between behind. One thing I want you guys to notice right now, how wide my feet are. Okay. My feet are nice and wide outside of my frame. This lets me get lower with the basketball. If you're in a game, you're driving by somebody, a lot of times your feet are going to be wide. So if you're always doing your ball handling drills with your feet shoulder width apart, you're really missing out on working on a whole entire plane of motion you probably aren't working on. Get your feet nice and wide, pound get low with those crossovers. Okay, 15 between behind, each Hand. Here we go. Keep working, keep working. Good work. Good job. Okay, good work, good work, good work. Get nice and warmed up. Sun Dream. Good work, Good work. You're good, Maxwell. Appreciate it. Appreciate everybody who subscribed right now. 4000 subs. Appreciate all you guys. Okay, getting some triples now. We're gonna go pound between, cross behind. So I'm here. Pound between, cross behind. Pound between, cross behind. Okay, we're gonna go. We're gonna go 16 total reps. 16. Let me know when you're done it. Good job, guys. Good job. Keep it up. LK Appreciate that. Daniel saying good work. Yes, sir. Keep working, Henry. Keep working. Appreciate that. Okay, we'll keep going up. All right, here's our next. Gonna get into a little bit of change of pace here now, okay? So what we're gonna be doing is working on being able to go from high and slow to low and quick, okay? So right now, ball is gonna be my right hand. I'm working on going double between, raising back up. So I'm here. One, two up, one, two, up. One, two, up. One, two, up. Okay, see that little change of pace? Okay, we're gonna go 12 pair of hands. I'm gonna go 12 with my right. Switch to go 12 with my left. Here we go. It's okay if your foot's a little bit ahead too. That's all right for now. Good job, guys. Eight minutes in. Keep working. Good job. Good job. Good work, Maxwell. Good work. Good work, Henry. Good job. Okay, Taylor. Good job, guys. Okay, now, similar to that, except now we're going between crosses. So I'm here between cross, between cross. Notice how explosive that between is. Okay? I want that between cross to be very, very quick. Raising back up, right back into it. Okay? Changing your pace the whole time. Same thing. 12 per hands. Here we go. And like I always say, for those of you who haven't been at ease before, don't be afraid to lose the ball. If you don't lose the ball at all for this whole workout, you probably aren't going hard enough. You probably aren't pushing yourself enough. I don't lose the ball. I'm trying to get better right here. Okay, Good job, guys. Good work. Good work. Give you guys about 20 seconds. 20 seconds. We're hoping our next one. I get a little bit more complex now. Okay. A little more difficult with this. All right, here's our next. We're gonna go with a quick behind the back between, up with that. With that cross. Okay, so I'm here. 1, 2, cross, 1, 2 cross. 1, 2 cross 1, 2 cross. 2 cross, 2 cross. So you guys see the pace that I'm playing with right there? Okay, so we're gonna go for 14 total reps of that. Okay, 14 total reps. Quick on that behind and then that inverted between, slow on that crossover. Raise up quick into that behind. Okay, Here we go. 14. Push yourself here. Change that pace. Hey, what's up, guys? I think someone just YouTube just crashed me or something. Not sure what's up. Got we still in here. Let me know if you guys can still see me. Yeah, we're good. Good. Okay, awesome. Hopefully that doesn't happen again. Okay, we finished that. We're going to go with that same thing again. Okay, so quick behind between slow crossover. Okay, quick behind again. Again, 14 reps. Push yourself. Push your control with the basketball. And again, making sure we're changing. JJP is going from low and quick to high and relaxing that crossover. Okay, here we go. Good job, guys. Great work so far. Great work. Keep it up, Keep it up. Okay, here's our next one. Here's our next one. We're going to go feet here. We're going to go double between, slow behind. So I'm here. Boom, boom, slow behind. Boom, boom, slow behind. Boom, boom, slow behind. Boom, boom, slow behind. Okay, again, we're going to go 14 reps. 14 reps. Pushing that, pushing the work, pushing the speed you take it with and making sure there's really a gap between your slow crossover or your slow behind the back. Quick double between the legs. Okay, Here we go. 14 reps. Here we go. Push that pace. Good job, guys. Good work, Sam. Good work. Should I work on catch or shoot mid range and should I lower the reps of shots, take in the mid range since I'm taking a lot in games? Well, depending on what offense you play in, you need to be able to hit shots in the mid range. Especially in high school, you got to be able to do that. There's going to be a lot. People say that the mid range doesn't exist. That's just not true. There's plenty of times where there's been mid range shots. Good job, guys. Okay, set two of that same exact thing. Quick double between, raise up behind. Double between, raise up behind. Okay, work on that pace right here. Push yourself. 14 total reps. Here we go. It job. Okay, good job, guys. Bkma, don't try like you shouldn't have to try to go into a game with confidence. You just got to go in there and do what you do well. Don't try and be a player you're not. Just go in there and do what you've practiced. Good job, Maxwell. Good job, Sam Rashad. Good work, Good work. Benchmark shooting workout. Okay, I like that idea. Daniel Taylor could work. Good work. Okay, here's our next. We're going boom, boom, behind. So instead of that double between, now it's between, cross, slow, behind. Okay, 14 reps. Here we go. Don't be afraid to lose that ball. Sa. Good job. Good job. Good work, Sam. So I'm taking benchmark to mean, like, where you keep track of your numbers and try and get to a certain score, right? So if we. Let's say our benchmark is like a hundred shots. Your goal is to, you know, maybe the first time you do, you make 70. Now your goal is every once in a while, you try it again, try and beat your score. Yeah, I'll do something like that. How do I come up with these live workouts? I mean, it's all stuff that I do with my players. So when I come into a workout, I just think of, like, what's the theme for the day? So, like, today, a lot of change of pace. Getting into a little bit of creativity here in a minute. And I just do my drills that are kind of in that. In those sort of categories. So. So. And just so you guys are aware and probably, probably next. Within the next two weeks, I'm dropping my elite ball handling program, and that's going to include a ton of stuff like this. So it's going to be. Have workouts laid out for you guys. So probably be four days a week, you'll go through these workouts. All my favorite drills are going to be segmented into categories for you guys to work on. It's really, really going to be helpful for you guys. Stuff that I've spent the last few months really working on. My ball handling is a lot better than it ever has been. And for those of you guys who struggle, be with, you know, your confidence with the ball, you struggle, you know, being on the court, feeling like you don't. You can't handle pressure, anything like that. Like, this program is really, really gonna help you guys out. The first week is probably gonna be $25. So if you guys get it the week it launches, It'll be probably 25, 27. Something in that. In a category. Yeah. Brandon, this will be up again when I'm. When we're done. So if you want to do this workout later, it'll be on my YouTube channel. Okay. So we have One more of those. One more of those. Quick between, cross, slow behind. Quick between, cross, slow, behind. Okay, Here we go. 14 reps. Good job, Maxwell. Yeah, the, the perimeter score system has some of the drills in it, but it's just a lot more focused. The perimeter score system has a lot more like scoring type drills. Focus on it, which is going to have some ball handling stuff. Like you're going to get better with your ball handling just with the perimeter square system itself. But this stuff is all tailor made to your ball handling for a bunch of situations where you're working on ball control, change of pace, change of height, all the things you need to be a great ball handler. That's what we work on. So it's really going to be. You're going to see a lot of really, really quick improvement when you guys are using it. So my favorite NBA player, LeBron James, no question. Greatest of all time. Okay, so going to get into a little bit creativity. Like I said. All that we're doing right now is we're going to keep our feet planted. Okay. And we're going to go any sort of corner crossovers that you want to do. Okay. So right now what we're going to do is you're not going to change your pace at all. You're just going to go with your crossover. So I'm here without any dribbles in between. Okay. Just working on being creative with the basketball, doing whatever I want to do with it. OK. We're going to go for about 20 seconds. I'll let you guys know when to stop. So again, as fast as you can go. No change of pace, no dribbles. Just cross over between, behind, whatever you want it to be. Ok, here we go. Ha. Good. Pick that ball up real quick. Give you about 10 seconds. We're gonna hop right back into the same exact thing. Okay. Don't be afraid to lose the ball. Again, going as quickly as you can through these, being creative with it. Try not to dribble that basketball at all except for your crossovers. Okay, here we go. Same thing. No change of pace. Here we go. Good. Pick it up, pick it up. Good job, guys. You guys, about 20 seconds. Hop into a little bit more creativity. Almost done with it. Almost done with it. Yeah, Max, I'm gonna have to disagree with you on that one. Kobe's. Kobe's great. Kobe's may be the best scorer ever. Well, he's not the best scorer. He's not better scorer than Mike, but one of the best ever. But he's not as A passer as a rebounder. He's not on the bronze level. AI AI is great, too. Maybe the best undersized guard ever, but he's. He's not in that go combo. MJ is the go. I see. I can. I can listen to MJ arguments. It's really between. For me. It's LeBron, MJ, those two are in a class of their own. There's no one else you can put on their level. So if you want to argue mj, cool. My thought is I'm going to take the guy who's a better passer, better rebounder, can guard more position, has a better shooter based on the percentages and overall better teammate, didn't quit on his team twice. That's just my opinion, though. Mike is great, though. Mike is 1A and 1B. Okay, our next one. Changing our pace now. Your feet can move as well. Okay, your feet can move now. So I don't keep them planted. I can change my pace. I can put pound dribbles in here. It's really just whatever kind of freestyle dribbling you want. Okay. So it's really a true unlimited freestyle right here. Okay, we're gonna go again for 20 seconds. Lt don't wanna stop here. Good. Pick it up, pick it up. Give you guys about 10 seconds. Hop into set two. Almost done. Keep working, keep working. Yeah, I mean, people want to talk about MJ going 60 in the finals, but is it better to lose in the finals, or is it better to lose in the first round? Because MJ lost a lot in the first round, so. I agree, Sam. Mike Scalabrine is a legend. Celtics legend right there. Hakeem Olajuwon's top 10, maybe top 7 KD if KD hadn't gotten hurt. Maybe. I don't. I think it'll be interesting to see how he is after this injury. Okay, round two. Finish strong right here. Finish strong right here. We're almost done. Here we go. Unlimited freestyle. Let you know. I'll let you guys know when we're done. Good job, guys. Great work today. Great work. Way to stick through it. Working on that pace. Pace. Creativity, maybe. Definitely two of the top four most important categories when we talk about ball handling. And again, that's something I'm going to address in the program. I'm going to put out a video soon on YouTube talking about the four most important parts of ball handling. Becoming a great ball handler. If you want to be confident with the ball in your hands, you want to be able to handle pressure, you Want to be able to be a playmaker, a guy that your coach or your teammates trust with the ball. You're going to want to make sure that you have these four categories down. I'm going to break them down for you, give you kind of preview. Ball control is number one most important. Everything stems from that. And then after that, we're going to change the pace, which is something we worked on today. Super important. We can also get that into moving stuff too, which is kind of the next level of that. And then we have change of heights, change of width, which we didn't do much of today, but that's something that is definitely important to do as well. And then creativity, which is something we did today. Again, we can do more of the stuff moving, but those are the four categories that if you want to be great at ball handling, you got to be able to hit. So the program is going to hit all those categories. You're going to see a lot of difference when you got to start with that. See only reason why LeBron won the title in 2016 was Curry got injured and Draymond got locked up. Well, he still, I mean, actually the reason he won it is because he led both teams in every statistical category. So that's actually why he won it. If he didn't do that, then they wouldn't have won even if those guys had gotten hurt. Good job, Derek. Brandon for sure. Thanks for tuning in, Steven. Good job, Maxwell. Good work. Zion. I don't know. It's too early for Zion. He's got to get healthy and start playing a little bit more before we can talk about. Well, here's the thing, Maxwell. What did Kobe do when he didn't have Shaq or Powell on his team? When he didn't have Shaq or Powell, he didn't make the playoffs where he lost in the first round every year. So Kobe couldn't win without another hall of Fame center on his team. He couldn't win a playoff series without them. You know, people talk about LeBron losing to that, that Mavs team in 2011, but Kobe lost to that Mavs team in the first round, got swept by that Mavs team. The Lakers had just won back to back titles. And then the Lakers, Kobeath Lakers with Powell lost to that Mavs team in the first round or the second round, I think, and they got swept and lost by 40 in game four. So Kobe was great when he had another hall of Famer with him sometimes or he got swept. So again, you can talk about the finals record, but is it better to lose in the finals or lose in the first round? I think it's better to lose in the finals. Personally, I'd rather go to the finals than lose. Than lose in the first round or not make the playoffs, which Kobe did a lot. So you got to consider the whole package. Do I think Kareem is top five? Yeah, he probably is. I never saw him play, so it's hard for me to say that, but I'd assume Kobe, shaq and Powell versus LeBron, Kyrie. Well, I mean, if you give those four, I mean, LeBron's team is going to win that. They are four hall of Famers on that team. You first three. I mean, who's gonna guard. Who's gonna guard? Like, who is pow guarding in that? Who is Shat guarding in that one? Are you gonna put Sha. Are you gonna put pow on D, Wade or Kyrie? Because if you do, that's not gonna go well. Yeah, Kareem is top five. Dr. J. I don't know. I. That was. That was way before my time. So I. I honestly don't know where I put Dr. J at. How to create space laterally. Go to my. Go to my. I have a playlist of ball handling stuff. There's. There's a work out there that will. That will. That hits that LeBron took. LeBron takes trash teams to the finals every year. That Cavs team he took to the finals in 2018 was the worst team to ever go to the finals. Statistically, the worst team ever. LeBron has better teammates. You good? See, I love these conversations, though. I love these conversations. So you're good, Maxwell. Hey, have a good day, Maxwell. Appreciate you tuning in. Keep working hard, guys. And did I watch the last days I watched part of it. I need to finish it out. I kind of was busy with the perimeter scoring system while it was coming out, so I didn't. But be aware because it's a Michael Jordan propaganda fest, basically. So that's my kind of thought on it. But again, Mike is fantastic. Number one or number two of all time. You can't have him lower than that. So, hey, good job, guys. Great work today. Like I said, today's Thursday podcast coming out on Sunday, so if you have questions for me, make sure you send me a DM and I'll get that answered for you.
