Yo, what's up, everybody? Marie, Kobe, Justin. Marie. Ian. Duncan. I see you, bro. I see you. Getting ready to put in that work, guys. A lot of ball control today. I mean, again, a lot of my sessions are like that just because I. That's just the most important part of ball handling for sure. Being able to control it. What up? How's it going, Marie? You're on your mom's account, though. Work. All right, guys, get started about. About 20 seconds. Hey, coach, do the workout shoe right now for sure. Maxwell. For sure. Banco J. Abdin Iseer. What's up? What's up, everybody? Okay, listen, so today you guys are gonna need like a cone or a shoe or something to mark. Just like a little marker. It can literally be anything. It'd be a leaf, it could be whatever. You just grab something near you, a water bottle. Doesn't matter. Just grab it. You're gonna need it. So before we even get started with that, though, we're going to work on a little bit of high to low dribbles. So how that's going to look? We're going to be up with this ball pounding. We're going to go five high pounds quick to five low. Back up to five high. Ok, so five high, five low. That's one. We're going to go five per hand. So I'm going to go five in my right hand, five in my left hand. Here we go.
It.
Get nice and warmed up. Nice and warmed up. Push that speed with these. Fast as you can. As fast as you can. Okay. Davison, how we doing, guys? Let me know when you guys finish up with that job. Ian. Good. Okay. Hey, we're gonna hop into set two. Same exact thing. Five high, five low. Five sets right. Go five sets left. Here we go. Good job, guys. What's up, Jeremiah? What's up? All right, listen, here's what we're doing now. So we're gonna go working on being able to tap the ball nice and low, be able to split through the defense, going from nice knee high to real low on that crossover. How it's gonna look, you're gonna be here, you're gonna go two pounds, and then you're gonna do essentially a kill dribble or a stun dribble, and you're gonna cross the ball over. So I'm here. One, one, one. You see that? That second dribble is real low to the ground. I'm tapping it over 1, 1, 1. All right, we're gonna go 20 crossovers, 20 total crossovers. Let me Know when you're done. Here we go. Good job, guys. Good work. Good work in. Good work. Give you guys a couple seconds. Okay, going into set two now, same exact thing. We got 20 crossovers, pounds, stun, dribble, cross low. Here we go.
It.
Good job, guys. Good work. Good work. Okay, so we're going to keep those feet planted. It's going to be the same thing. Going to start balling your right hand, though. Okay? So I'm going to be here. I'm going to be here. Boom, boom. And then quick between. Okay, right back to that one. Quick between. So it'll be one. I'm trying to get that ball. Once I have that little tap, dribble, quick cross between. That cross between should be as quick as you can. You want to get that ball, right hand. Get it back to your right hand as quickly as you can. Okay, you're going to go 15 with your right hand, 15 with your left hand. Okay, Let me know when you're done. Here we go.
It's.
Good job, guys. Good work. Good job, Ian. Steven. Okay, good job, guys. Good job. Okay, now we're gonna do. We're going to be that pound, boom, boom, boom, crossover. So pounds cross between, cross. Now it's in your left. Pound low, dribble, cross between, cross back to your right hand. Okay, so we're going to go 20 dribbles now or 20 total reps. Okay, so I'm here. Pound there. All right, go ahead. 20. Let me know when you're done. Solid. Nine minutes in, guys. Keep working, keep working. Good job. Keep working. Let me know you guys will finish up with that. Let me know when you're done. Good job, Ian. Good job, Steven. Okay, good work, guys. Okay, we got one more set of that. Same thing. 20 reps. Here we go.
It's.
Good work, guys. Good work. Let me know when you're done. Get a quick drink. A quick drink. You guys have water with you. Hey, y', all. About 20 seconds. We'll move along. You going to need that cone now? Okay? That cone or that whatever object you're going to use. All good, Sam. See you later. Good job, Steven. Okay, good work, Ian. Good job. Good job. About 15 seconds, guys. Grab that object. Grab that cone. So like I said, if you're new, you're going to need some sort of object. Okay? It can be a cone, can be a shoe. It can be whatever you have laying around. Just need. You just need a marker right here. All right, Grab that ball. You're going to want to set your object up about right in the middle of your body. So you see it right here. Okay. We're going to work on being able to manipulate the basketball, okay. Going into different moves. Okay. First thing we're going to start off with is just getting that manipulation down.
Okay?
So this is basic. Really make sure that you're focusing on getting that shoulder over and back. Okay. Really controlling that ball. So I'm here with it. All right, we're going to get 20 with the right hand. Okay? So listen, this is one. That's 1, 2, 3, all the way up to 20. Okay? Switch, go left hand, 20 with that. Let me know when you're done. Here we go. Job. Ian. Steven, good work. Good work, guys. Good work. Okay, so what we're going to get into next is we're going to go right into a crossover off of that. Okay, so I'm here. One, two. And actually, what we're going to do first is we're going to go pockets. So we're gonna be able to get that basketball from here to into our pocket. Okay? So it's carry right now, right? My pocket might be if I'm here. And I mean, let's say I'm making a float to the right. Ball's in my pocket. Okay. So I can shoot out of that. I can keep going out of that. I could pass out of it. But we're being able to take that ball from this side to that pocket. Okay? So it's gonna be here. One, two, pocket.
One, two, pocket, pocket. Okay?
So you want to be able to keep that. That ball or your hand on the side of that ball. Okay? You want to keep it from going under, keep it on the side. Got to use the momentum of the ball right here.
One, two, here.
All right. Being able to do that. So we're going to go 12 right hand, 12 left hand. Let me know when you're done.
It.
It's gonna be a little difficult at first, but we're just trying to get the movement down, so. Yeah, Ian. So you could pocket in the left side because you might. So this isn't necessarily your shot pocket, right? This is just your ability to get that ball from this side over to this side. You might make a move going to the right because you can make a play if that ball is in your pocket right here, right? You can go that way. Maybe you even fake, like, kind of hang this way, cross back over. You're here. You can anchor that foot, go between. Same thing left. If I bow my left hand right here, I can go there. I Can go back over. I can keep going that way. So that's. That's really what I'm talking about here. So it's a distinction between a dribble pocket and a shot pocket. Right. If we're talking shot pocket to be here, or if you're lefty here, we're triple pocket here. So we can make any play. If I'm here with the ball, I can make a pass out of that left hand, too. Okay, so that's what we're talking about. So now we're going to do. Going to go over. Pocket between. Pocket between. Okay, so like I was saying, get that ball back to that pocket, making a play out of it. Okay? We're going to go 20 total. 20 between the leg dribbles. Let me know when you're done.
It.
Good job. Good work, Ian. Good work, Steven. Good job, guys. Keep it up. Keep it up. Sixteen minutes in. Keep working, keep working. Job. LK. Okay, set two. Same thing. We got 20, pocket between the legs. Okay, let me know when you're done. 20. Good job, guys. Good job, Ian. Awesome. Good stuff, Bill. Job, Steven. Okay, Good job, guys. Joel, good work. Okay, now it makes it a little bit more difficult. We're gonna go over hock it behind the bat, okay? So it'll be 1, 2, pocket behind the back. 1, 2, pocket behind the back. Okay? So what I don't. What I don't want you guys to do, I don't want you guys to have to hinge forward at your hips, okay? Because if you guys have to do that to go behind the back, then you can't shoot from this position. You have no hips to get into your shot. You can't explode out any way. You don't have any hips. Hips are super important, so you got to be able to be still with your hips back loaded up. You're going to be able to get that ball from here, here to that pocket, to that behind the back. Okay? Be able to control it. So I'm here. Pocket behind the back.
1, 2.
Pocket behind the back. There. Okay. It's okay if you take it slow at first. It's a lot more difficult than that. Between. We're going to go 14 reps. Okay? 14. Let me know when you're done.
Pocket, pocket, pocket, pocket, pocket, pocket, pocket, pocket, pocket.
Good job, guys. That one's tough. That one's tough. We're getting into some combos right here. Good job, Ian. Getting some combos right here, Steven. Good work. Okay, so what we're gonna do now, we're Gonna take out that pocket dribble. For now, we're gonna go with three dribbles. So three. We have this one here. One, two, three. Then we're gonna make our move out of it. Okay, our first move is gonna be crossover between the legs. Okay, so I'm here. 1, 2, 3, cross. 1, 2, 3, Cross between. 1, 2, 3, CROSS between. Okay, we're gonna go 15 right, then switch. Go 15 left. Okay, let me know when you're done here. We.
It. It's.
Good work, guys. So, Justin, like I said, when you get the ball to your pocket, you can make a play out of it. Your ability to go from that ball being anywhere into that pocket means you can go change the direction to the other side. You can hesitate and go the same way that you have the ball. You can shoot out of it, you can pass out of it. It basically gives you more control of the basketball. Okay, Ian, Steven, Good work, guys. Good work. Got a couple more. Got a couple more. Keep working. So our next one, we're going three dribbles over. One, two, three, double behind. Okay, 15 right hand, 15 left hand. Here we go.
It's.
Good job, guys. Good work, good work. Okay, so gonna finish it out. We have our creative combos. Now, how this is gonna work, you're gonna be here with the cone right in the middle. Start whichever hand you want. 1, 2, 3, 3. Change direction dribbles. Okay, so that might be crossover between. Crossover. Now it's in my left hand. 1, 2, 3, cross, cross, cross my right hand. Now, same thing. Okay, gonna go 20 of those. Okay, 20 of those. Here we go. Good job, guys. Good work, Ian, Good work. NBA One day. What's up? Okay, Stephen. Good job, guys. Okay, got one more set. One more set. 20. Same thing. Those manipulation dribbles. Any sort of triple crossover you want. 20 total. Here we go.
It. It's.
Good job, guys. Great work. Finish it out. Finish it out. Good work. Good work, Ian. Okay, good work. Great job. So again, heading that ball control. And again that pocket dribble. All about being able to manipulate that ball, bring it back from wherever you have it into your control. And there's so many plays you can make out of having that ball in that pocket. A backwards between the legs as like a step back. You mean, like, kind of like the. Like where you're gonna. Oh, so kind of like. Yeah, I know what you're talking about. Yeah, it definitely can be. That definitely can be used as a step back more. So like a. You know, if you just need a little bit of extra separation, like maybe off of like a float dribble or something. You just get those, that little backwards between the legs right into your shot. Yeah, that can be, that can be a great way. Especially if you have a little bit of size on your guy that you're playing and you know if you have, you're going to be able enough, gonna be able to have enough space to get that shot off. Could be really, really good. A little fade with it too. For sure. For sure. So guys, podcast is dropping Today, probably about 4 o' clock and video will be out on YouTube podcast as normal, for sure. Ian Justin Right. For some reason when I create separation, I take to shoot close up quickly. So yeah, you gotta listen that, that means that you probably either aren't creating enough separation. That could be one thing. You aren't selling the first move. Like if you want to create separation like on a step back or something like that, or like a speed stop or something, you have to sell the drive downhill. You got to get them going and then you got to be able to shoot the ball quickly. If you can't shoot it quickly, if your shot's slow, then you gotta, you gotta fix it. So I don't know what, what reason that is for. You got to answer that yourself because I haven't seen you play. So I don't know what you're, I don't know what the issue is with you, but you gotta ask yourself, is it is my shots too slow? Is it that I don't create actually any separation? Next NBA workout dropping maybe next week. Depends on what workout I put out this week or next week. We'll see. And I don't know which one it's going to be. You guys have any more quick questions, let me know. As always, send me a DM if you have any longer questions or if you don't think of any right now. And I'll always answer those. A lot of times they'll be on the podcast. So I'll see you guys soon. Like I said, podcast coming out in about an hour and a half.
