YouTube LIVE Home Ball Handling Workout - Work At Home!

Live 20–23 minute home ball-handling workout led by coach Ethan Khoza. The session emphasizes rapid hand-to-ground ball movement and footwork, progressing from warm-up dribbles (knee/ankle/waist) into compound ball-handling sequences (pound, V-dribble, in-and-out, between-the-legs, crossovers) and footwork elements (split, drop, pocket, anchor step). Several timed reps/sets and counting challenges are used; the coach engages with viewers throughout.

If you guys have like one random item laying around, like you got a water bottle or like a shoe, that'll be, that could be helpful. It's kind of like a marker, but if you don't have, that's fine. Just follow along with me and we'll get rocking. So making sure that we're, you know, keeping up with everything. South Africa. Shout out South Africa. All right, let's get started guys. Grab your ball, do a little warm up, get ourselves ready to go. Gonna go 20 knee high pounds. All right, keep it going, keep it going. Switching to that left now. Same thing. Going ankle high now. So we're keeping that ball nice and low. We're going to go £30 now. Back to that right hand. All right, here we go. Good. Over that left now. Same thing. Canada. Shout out to Stephen from Canada. Alright, here's what we're doing now. We're going two like waist high pounds. We're gonna go two low pounds, alright? So follow along, take it slow if you need to at first and we'll start to pick it up. So we're gonna go 1, 2, 1, 2, 1, 2', 1, 2, 1, 2,. 1, 2. Pound the ball as hard as you can. Good. Switch hands, Switch hands. Same thing. Good. Check it out. How we doing guys so far, guys? If you guys are new, like I said, all you need is one basketball. We might grab something to go in a minute, but if you don't have it, don't worry about it, get back into it. We're going £v dribble £ in and out. Repeated. So £v dribble £ in and Out. £d dribble £ in and out. We're continue that 20 seconds. All right. £ Keep it up, guys. Let's go. Good. Switch hands. Switch hands. Same thing. £V dribble, £ in and out. Good, good. All right, I'm gonna combine it now. Here's what we're doing. We're gonna go pound v dribble pound in and out pound between the leg. Let's switch to your other hand. All right, what we're gonna do, I want you guys to keep count for yourselves. We're gonna go. We'll go 14 reps, all right? So you gotta get 14 total. So pound V, pound in and out pound between. That's one. You're gonna get 14. All right, let me know when you're done. Look at that pound. Let me know you guys are done. We'll keep it moving. Keep up that work, guys, get after it. Sam's done. All right, move on to the next. We're gonna go pound in and out, cross. All right, pound in and out. Cross, pound and out, cross. Good, good. All right, pound in and out between. Here we go. 20 seconds. Push your good. Good. Man, I love the outdoor ball. Nice and slippery. Got that shack basketball. We don't have those indoor balls right now, guys. This is gonna make you better, though. All right? Now we're gonna do. We're gonna go. We're gonna do split, so we're gonna go pound between. You watch my split footwork. All that means my feet are normal right now. £ split. You see that? My feet are gonna change £ again. Split other way. All right, we're gonna do that. You got to get 20 each one is one. All right, let me know when you're done. Go. Where we at? Let me know. You guys finish up. Keep it rolling. Good work so far, guys. Keep it up. Develop those handles. How we doing out there? We're done. Good. All right, here's what we're doing. We're gonna go pound split, pound split. Then we go two splits in a row without the pound Go like this. Pound pound, boom, boom. You guys see that? Start my right hand. Pound between pound between, between. Back to my right hand. All right, ten with your right. Switch. Ten with your left. Ready? Here we go. Keep pushing, guys. Take a break. In a minute. Right after this, take a break. It. How we doing? Stick with me, guys. Stick with me. Keep it going. Done. Shout out to you guys, Hayden Bardot, what's Up. All right, here's what we're doing. Take a quick little break, you guys, about 30 seconds. If you close some water, you can grab some. Hopefully you guys are nice and warmed up right now. We'll get back into it in a second, all right? All right. If you guys have something random laying around, a water bottle, a shoe, a cone, whatever, even it's like a wristband or something, want you to grab it. If you don't have it, it's fine. You should grab it. Gonna put it right in front of you, in the middle of you. We're gonna work on our drop footwork right now. So that means all we're doing is we're going pound here. All right? So all that drop means I've got. My feet are together. I'm pounding it. Split like how we just did that split before with those between the legs. Now we're splitting. Getting a little. Want you to catch the ball. All right, so we're going to like this. Pound, drop, pound, drop, pound, drop. Pound, drop. Keep it going. Good. Switch hands, left hand. Here we go. Good, good. All right. The importance of this is that drop gets into our explosive position. Like I said, we're going to work a lot of footwork today. So there's one. Here's what we do. Now. Put your feet, like the. Whatever your object is right in the middle of you. We're gonna go east, west. Pounds into a drop. Actually, right now, we're going to a pocket. All that means they're going like this, this side, that side. Actually, we'll take away that dribble. Boom, boom. Right to you, to your pocket. Boom. It's gonna be a carry right now, but in the middle of the game, you float. You float into that pocket. That's what we're working on right now. So ready? East, west, into that pocket. Boom. Pocket, pocket, pocket. 10 reps each side, switch that left, and you're done with your right hand. 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10. Good, good. Let me know when you guys are done. Check in when you're done. Gonna keep it rolling with this. Done. Good. All right, here's what we're doing. We're gonna go east, west, pound. You're gonna take a third dribble, and you're gonna drop just like we just worked on. So we're going boom, boom, boom, drop. All right, control that basketball. When you drop, bring it back to that pocket. All right? Three dribbles, though. 10 on the right side, 10 on the left side. 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10. Switch hands, switch hands. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5th, 6, 7, 8, nine, 10. Who's done? Who's finished up? Let me know. Stick with me, guys. Stick with me. We're gonna get a little more game action. Movement right here. Gonna add it into what we were just doing, so stick with it. Here we go. We're going same thing. Pound, pound, pound. Drop one, dribble forward. You're gonna snatch it behind your back. So how this is gonna look? We're gonna go all right, hand first. All right, Gonna be here. Boom, Boom, boom. Drop one behind your back. Little slip. These Kobe 9s are old. All right, here we go. 10 on that right side. Back to that right hand. Drop one. Here we go. Keep it up, guys. Drop good. When you finish that right hand, go to that left. Stick with it, guys. Stick with it. Here we go. Let me know when you finish up. Let me know when you finish. Keep it rolling. We'll take a little break. When you guys are done, let me know you guys are at. Good work, good work, good work. Quick little break. Grab some water if you need to. What position? I played the two through the four when we went undersized when I was in high school. Sometimes the five, depending on the lineup, wants some shooting out there. I do more of these live streams. Yeah, man. If you guys want more of them, I'll do more of them. Let me know who else wants more of them. Got two. Let me know. If you guys want to see more of these, I'll do more of them. All right, here's what we're doing. We're going to go a little advanced right here. This is going to be same exact thing, except now we're going to add in an anchor step. So what you guys can even do here, take away whatever object you're using, okay? But I still want you to act like it's there. So still dribble over like you were before. What you're going to do now, going to go like this. Boom, boom, boom, drop. You'll load up your weight on your right foot. You're going to go between your legs to your left, okay? It's called an anchor step. Right there. We're going to anchor in that right foot. Sell that. We're driving that way. Going to bring that left foot forward. Go between the legs. Let me show you guys one more time, all right? Over, over. Drop anchor. Go. Sell that right drive first. Get 10 right now. Here we go. Drop self. Go. Good. Keep it up, guys. Keep it up. Sell that drive. Here we go. Let's get better. Keep pushing it. You're done. Keep it up, guys. Let's go. Keep it up. Let me know you guys are at. We're almost done. Stick with me. Almost done. All right, don't quit on me. Stick it out. Let me know you guys are done. Good job, Sam. Almost done, guys. Keep pushing it. Keep pushing it. Cross job, Pardo. Good work. All right, here's what we're doing. Last thing we're doing. Okay, last thing on the timers, you guys are going to count all of your reps, okay? So first thing we're going to do, we're going to go 20 seconds of in and out, cross, in and out, cross. So no pound in between in and out, cross, in and out, cross. We're going to keep on doing those, all right, go for 20 seconds. After the 20 seconds, I'm going to explain the next one to you, but I want you guys to keep track of what you have, all right? So keep track of the number that you get. So boom. Cross. That's one, cross. That's two. Keep track of that number the whole time. All right, Ready? I'll let you know when 20 seconds starts. Hold on. Three, two, one, go. All right, keep that number in your head. Don't lose it. Keep that number. Remember it. All right, here's what we're doing next. We have two more of these. We're done. We're going to go between, between, cross, between, between, cross. Just like that, two betweens, then a crossover. 20 seconds. Whatever your number was for that last drill, start there. So if you got 20, your first rep will be 21, 22, 23. All right, so keep. Keep those numbers together. I'll let you know when we're starting. Hold on. Three, two, one, go. Done. Good. Keep that number in your head, guys. Keep that number. Go. One more, one more. We're done. So now we're gonna go double behind the back between. So look like this. 1, 2, 3, between, 1, 2, between, 1, 2, Between. Just like that. All right, hold on. Whatever your number is, you ended at start there. Last one. Really push yourselves. All right, Ready? Three, two, one, go. It's okay if you mess up. Push yourself. Done. Good work. Hey, drop those numbers below. Let me see what you guys got. I know it's tough to remember sometimes, but that was good work. Nice little 23 minutes of work right there, guys. So. So if you guys are asking if I go live a little bit more, I'll definitely do that. If you guys are interested in that. Again, if you didn't drop it below, let me know. You guys want to see me go live a little bit more. Let me see those numbers. 60. Good work, Sam. 48. I like it. I like it. It's a good drill to do. Try and beat yourself. See if you can do better every single time. Joe, good work, Good work, good work. 67 is our high score right now. Pardo. Good work. 45. Good work, guys. Good work. So listen, that's that right there. We always have time to do it. You give 20 good minutes of work right there, man, and I'm telling you, you're going to see a lot of improvement. You guys, you'll feel a little better. I talked about that ball being real slippery. We got to look for the benefits of being outside right now. That's going to help us, all right? You guys keep up with this, man. By the time everyone's back, no one else is doing this stuff, all right? See, we got miss any messages. More live. All right, guys, I'm going to do more live. I'll let you guys know next time we're going to do it, all right? Go work today, guys. See you guys later.
