Most people don't know this about me, but I was raised with an incredibly abusive father. I honestly, I don't know what it's like to have a dad who wants to help me instead of hurt me. The person who should have protected me the most didn't. For this reason, Father's Day is a hard day for me. However, there's something I really want to share with you, whether you are a father or want to be a father at some point, Really, you don't hear enough that the world needs men. As someone who was raised in a home where we did not have that strong, good, protective male influence, I can say firsthand how important it is and how much the world needs you and needs your goodness and needs your strength. And it makes me sick that there's So many voices in society that try to downplay the role of a man and your protective and strong and good nature. It makes me sick that that happens. So I just want you to know that you do matter. You matter so much more than I could ever put into words. What you add to this world is important and we can't do without it. So thank you. Thank you for being a good person, for being a loving person and being a kind person. And if you're a father right now, Give yourself so much credit for what you do. Just love your children, and whether they say it or not, they're going to appreciate that about you. And whether you're a father or not, just the fact that you're a good man is exactly what this world needs. So thank you, and please share this with a friend who needs to hear it as well. Again, I really don't know how to put it into words, but as someone who still aches to know what it would be like to have a good father. What you do truly matters. So keep being an amazing man. And thank you.
