The truth is there are some girls who are totally okay giving a random guy their number. However, there are a lot of girls who are not. Even if they're attracted to you, even if they really think they probably would enjoy getting to know you better, one of a woman's primary concerns is making sure she's safe. And in today's world, a girl's gotta be careful. And so the high-value women, the women who actually respect themselves and are looking for love instead of flings, those kinds of women are going to be more careful than other kinds of women. So one way to help her know that she's safe with you, that you're not some weirdo, that you're not looking for a fling, is just to take a minute to chat with her a little bit first.
