This next one is one of my favorites. And this is that she builds you up and supports you. Marriage is a very, very close relationship. A lifelong relationship is a very intimate relationship. And she should be your biggest cheerleader. You should be able to look into her eyes and know she is always there for you. She's always got your back. She always believes in you. Even if nobody else does, she's there for you. Again, I know I keep mentioning this, but so many people misunderstand. Too many people are settling for relationships that are empty and unfulfilling, thinking that that's as good as it gets. That is not remotely true. Don't accept that because it's not true. It breaks my heart when I see a man who's in a marriage where she tears him down and she belittles him and she mocks him and makes fun of him. You deserve so much better than that. You should never, ever, ever have to tolerate that. If she makes you feel small, she's small, and you should have nothing to do
