Love is like brownies. How is love like brownies, you might ask? Well, let me tell you. Let's say you're trying to make some brownies. So you sit down at the kitchen table with a plate in front of you and you think, yes, I want brownies. You open your eyes and you look at the plate. Poof! Are there brownies there? I'm not saying it's not possible, but that's not Usually how it works. Or, okay, so then you say, "All right, I'm gonna go and I'm gonna make some brownies." And so you step into the kitchen and you grab a whole bunch of ingredients and you're like, "I don't know, what's in brownies? Uh, chocolate. Okay, I'll throw some chocolate in there. You probably need some flour." So you grab a random amount of flour and you put that in there and you just kind of mix it together. Are your brownies gonna taste good? No. Why? Well, you didn't have a recipe. You didn't follow a recipe. The same is true for love. If you instead follow the brownie recipe, then you can have the brownies you've been craving and dreaming about. So with love, as a coach, I see this all the time. There are a lot of people who say, "Oh, well, it'll just happen." That's like sitting down at the table and just imagining your brownies are there and expecting them to happen. Or I see people who give it their best shot, and there is no shame in that, but it's kind of like throwing in random ingredients and random measurements and hoping something works. It's not very effective either, right? If instead you have a system, you have a strategy, that is your fast track to success. That's really the only way to help guarantee your success is to make sure you're following a proven system. That's why as a coach, I love providing you with a proven system.
