In this coaching monologue, the speaker advises people who feel nervous around women to stop putting excessive pressure on themselves. They emphasize that mistakes are a natural part of learning, regardless of skill level, and that both parties share responsibility for a smooth, engaging conversation. The speaker encourages listeners to give themselves grace, recognize that conversations can still fail despite mutual effort, and understand that repeated practice will improve their dating communication abilities.

And the next don't, the thing you should not do, is don't put too much pressure on yourself. In all reality, we all make mistakes sometimes. And sometimes we don't all know what to say. And when we're trying to figure something out that we're not good at yet, sometimes mistakes will happen. And even when we are good at it, sometimes mistakes will happen. And it's just part of the process. It's okay. This isn't just you alone in this scenario. Something else I teach my clients is she has a share in this as well. She has some responsibility in this as well. It's not just up to you to make sure this works out. It's also her job to make the conversation flow naturally. It's her job to continue to show interest. It's her job to make this a positive experience as well. So don't feel like it is your responsibility to make sure that this turns out well. The truth is, sometimes it totally flops, even if both people are really trying to make it work. I've certainly had that happen in the past where we're both trying to make this work, we're both trying to connect and it's just, it's not working. It happens sometimes. So give yourself some grace. The more you do this, the better you'll become at it.
