Sometimes people will say they're one thing, but they'll actually be totally opposite of that. For example, someone who says they're super loyal, but they're not loyal to their friends, or, you know, they only seem to be loyal when it works for them. Or they say they're a super honest person, but maybe they tell some white lies. Maybe they say they're very religious, but you kind of have to wonder if they even have ever opened the Bible, let alone try to live by its precepts. Often this just kind of comes down to a gut feeling. This is something I teach my clients. If you have that gut feeling, God gave us that gut feeling for a reason. So even if maybe you can't explain why it doesn't exactly— her actions don't align with her words, something doesn't add up, that's okay. Trust your gut.
