Recently, someone said to me, what's one thing you had wished you had learned sooner in your business? I was like, wow, what's one thing I wish I'd learned sooner? You know what? And I go back to all my years, all my decades of running businesses, buying, selling companies, and of course, still doing that today. And I go back to, you know what? There's one thing where my entire world shifted, and it's actually not a statement. It's nothing like that, nothing fancy. It's only one single word. You know what? If I'd learned that word sooner, my life would've transformed. I would've probably transformed many more companies quicker and faster, and scale to a different place completely. And that one word is the word trust. Because here's the thing, if you don't trust other people, you will never grow a business and scale it to a massive level. Trust is one of the most important pieces. When you trust others, it means you trust yourself. If you don't trust other people, it often says, I don't trust myself. And guess what? When you trust others to do good work, they will do exceptional work. In fact, I love trusting others so much that I watch them do work in so many areas that they are so much better than me, and they make me look like a novice. Now, That is what helps grow and scale companies. So that was my number one word, the number one thing I've learned over the last 10 to 15 years that I'd wish I'd learned sooner, and I hope it helps you.
