The question I ask myself in front of the mirror on those hard days that has kept me honest for years. You stand in front of that mirror, that one question of, does it really matter and why? Because here's the thing, the only person that really has control over your destiny in terms of who you are, what you're doing, the decisions you're making, is the person in front of the mirror. So many times we take other people's opinions into account and we're trying to figure out what we need to do and how we need to do it and everything else. But at the end of the day, you need to take your opinion into account, number one first. Because you're the one that can change things. You're the one that can do things differently. And you have to ask yourself why and does it matter? Because at the end of the day, you will make decisions that support you and you'll make decisions that you have a learning experience from that will cause you sometimes a financial loss, maybe a loss of a relationship or whatever it might be. But first, listen to your own opinions, make your own decisions before you listen to other people's opinions and make all your decisions around them for someone that might not truly even care about you or even care that you're even making those decisions.
