In this motivational vlog, the speaker addresses aspiring entrepreneurs and leaders, sharing three practical principles for effective leadership in the upcoming year. After a brief personal hiatus due to family illness, he outlines: (1) Speak with confidence – leverage past successes and failures to project assurance when making decisions; (2) Actively listen – prioritize hearing the insights of others in the room, using their knowledge to inform ideas; (3) Embrace failure – be willing to experiment, take risks, and encourage a culture of trial‑and‑error to avoid stagnation. He wraps up by urging viewers to apply these steps, invites comments on which principle they’ll focus on, and promotes channel subscription and sharing.

People always looking to you for the answer, but you're not quite sure how to take the lead? Stick around, we're gonna give you some tips that will help you out in the new year. First of all, guys, welcome back. We're almost in the new year, not quite there yet. We had a couple days of hiatus where my whole family was down and out with that good old-fashioned Food poisoning. Uh, knocked us clean out. I didn't have videos prepared, so that's my fault, but I've learned my valuable lesson. There will be lots of videos as I'm going to create several today, several over the next couple days. That way we always have videos in the queue ready to go for you guys. But enough of that. Leadership. There's those of us that are forced into a position of leadership, or we take on a position of leadership. People want us to create solutions, to craft solutions, to be the ones to point us in the right direction. It happens. It's a reality, especially as an entrepreneur. So, how do you do it? How do you do it effectively? I'm gonna give you guys a couple tips that helped me out along the way, and will hopefully help you out as well. Okay, so number 1, guys. Number 1 is confidence. Most leaders out there have to make split-second decisions, and if they cannot do it with a voice of confidence and assurance, it's not gonna make anybody else around them feel any more confident about the solutions that they are able to provide and create. Realize that your intuition, your influence, your ideas, your insights, your innovation are driven by all of your knowledge, all of your experience, everything you've done before, both your failures and your successes. So, if this is true, have the confidence in what you've been able to do in the past and use that confidence As you present new solutions to your team, to your clients in the future, rest on the fact that you know what you're doing and you've got a backload of stuff to prove it. Have confidence in the solutions you provide as a leader to your team. Step 2 is a little odd. Not a lot of people expect it for leaders, but the reality is this, guys. A leader doesn't always need to be the largest voice in the room. Did we start with the ability to speak with confidence? Yes. But the very first thing you've got to do to be an effective leader is do what nobody else in the room is doing, and that's actively listening. If you want to be an effective leader, the ability to actively listen to those people in the room that know something that you don't, that have experienced something you don't, and then use that knowledge to create your concepts, ideas, and innovations is going to go much further than than you pretending that you know everything and not listening to anybody. Okay, last step, guys. Number 3, do not be afraid to fail. Leaders that aren't afraid to fail, leaders that are afraid to go out there, make an effort, try new things, those are often the ones that will have greater success in the long run, not just for themselves, but for the teams that are around them. If you are afraid to try something new, it's gonna put your company, your business, your product In a state of stagnation. It's not gonna move because nobody's pushing it to. Even if it's off a cliff sometimes. It takes trial and error. You have to be willing to try. Have a spirit of adventure, guys. Have a spirit to go out there, drive things, try things, and encourage the team around you to do the same. That's it for today though, guys. 1, 2, 3, quick and easy. Speak with confidence. Listen to those around you. Try new things. These great simple steps will make you a much more effective leader in the new year. Let me know in the comments below which of these 3 things you're gonna challenge yourself to try in the new year.
