So what kind of amazes me here as I continue to read through all these books and do this work through Rachel Sloan's course is this amazing call to breathe. Just breathe. In any situation where you start to feel overwhelmed, any situation where you have to process, where you feel like you're just getting kicked into high gear, you can feel it, your heart starts racing, you start pumping, your brain kicks into overdrive, you're overthinking, just breathe. And I'm thinking about that as a Christian and the call that we have at times to just Be still and know that there's a sovereign God. He's in control. He has you. It's amazing how well those two go hand in hand, where if you take that moment, if you take that moment, no matter what you're in, the thick of it, just pause, be still. I know it seems insane in the moment where you gotta do something, you gotta do something right now. Take the moment, take the 10 seconds, take it, just breathe. Be still and know that there's a plan, there's a purpose, and there's sovereignty in the moment. It just, it de-stresses and deflates the entire situation. And it lets you, instead of just being rapid fire and making a decision, making a cool, calm, collected decision and looking at things clearly. Really cool.
