A sermon on three biblical parables about the lost sheep, lost coin, and older son. The speaker warns that long-standing Christians risk becoming like the older son: diligent but feeling overlooked by God, mistaking faithfulness for abandonment.

The son who stayed home, the older son who did what was right in the Lord's eyes. And for many of us, whether we, you know, were born in Christian families, grew up as Christians, or we've been walking the Christian walk for a while now, this is a huge risk and a huge trap that we might find to be one of the 99 sheep who's in the field, to be one of the 9 coins in the woman's pocket, to be the older son who never left and who has worked diligently all of these days and yet asked or felt like they've asked for nothing and received nothing.
