Alright guys, today is Saturday and that means it's time to flip. Let's go! Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen. I'm Dan from millennialmotivator.ca, helping you learn how to create, engage, and inspire. If you are new to the channel, go ahead and click that like button that's down there, little notification bell next to it. You'll get notified when my next video goes live. Today, what we're putting together is a video on what a day of flipping looks like. So we've got our itinerary printed out. We are ready to roll. We've got a bunch of different places that we're gonna hit up. Some of it is estate sales, some of it is pickups from Letgo, some of it is stuff off of Facebook Marketplace, all kinds of different things. We're, we're in November almost here, so it's a little bit cold up in Canada way to be hitting up garage sales, but there's lots of different ways for you to pick up stuff, and we're gonna go through that today as we grab a bunch of gear and hopefully A nice pickup towards the end of the day. Let's go. All right guys, so we are getting ready to roll here. We've got our locations picked out, uh, we've got some estate sales, we've got the Letgo, uh, pickups to do, Facebook Marketplace pickups to do, and then hopefully we have enough time while we're driving around that maybe we can do some arbitrage in the stores as well as hit any garage sales that may be out there. It's kind of cold today. I doubt there'll be a ton of garage sales, but we'll see what we can find. So let's go. First pickup's done. Hot Wheels. Love me some Hot Wheels. Now this one's kind of cool. Cases for Hot Wheels— big tip— cases for Hot Wheels do really well on eBay, guys. Normally they go for $40. I got the Hot Wheels case for $10. And this isn't your regular Hot Wheels case. I always love it when you see extra stuff. Busts out into a ramp as well, so it's a toy for your Hot Wheels. And on top of it, the lady goes, oh, I just got these extra Hot Wheels in here, you mind if I just throw them in? The answer to can I just throw them in is always Yes! All right, we got time between pickups here, so now we're in Walmart. I'm gonna do some arbitrage, check out around the store, see if there's any deals. This is the sign you're looking for. Anywhere you see clearance, grab into that, get your eBay scanner out, check it out. Let's go, guys! Just got out of Winners. Walmart was dead. There's nothing in Walmart. It's the last time I'm gonna go into a Walmart to try to do this. But Winners— Disney. See Disney, buy Disney. We got a cart here. Oh, so see Disney, buy Disney. Okay, this was $4 we got it for. It's going for $12 on eBay. We've got Black Panther stuff, $8, going for triple that on eBay. Corvette, new in box, going for triple on eBay. We bought it for $8, it's going for $21. Uh, $24. $21, $24, $30. Hulk Avengers, $6.99, triple, $18.99 going for eBay. We tripled up on this. $40 spent, $120 in the pocket on eBay. Not one Lego set, not 2 Lego sets, not 3 Lego sets, but 4 Lego sets complete in box. And 2 of those are discontinued, they're retired, you cannot find them anywhere anymore. That whole set for $30. They go for $40 each on eBay. That's 4 times the money, boys. LEGO is a big hit today, but we are on it now. Fallout 3 lunchbox. Bam! Look at that thing, beautiful. And a little bobblehead to go with it. If you're gonna learn anything today, it's make sets on eBay. If you're going up against somebody that just has a lunchbox or somebody who just has the bobblehead and you put both together at one great price, yours is gonna sell first for sure. No problem. This is a pickup, $30. They go for $30 each on eBay. Fantastic grab. Let's go. Okay, next pickup, Transformers Armada, the board game. Now this is kind of cool because not only do you get a board game, but it comes with a bunch of really cool little Transformers figures as well. And all the figures are in the box. Having the box in good repair— there's a couple little nicks and dings, but the box is together. That's the key. This is gonna go. Picked it up for $15, on right now, sold on eBay for $30. So pumped for— so they wanted $40 for the set, okay? I told them $10. They said, no, no, we can do $15. Okay, $15, no problem for the set. I figured for Transformers they were talking the dinky little guys that I remember from my age, right? No, no, I show up in there and We are talking these massive beast Transformers. $35 for this guy online on eBay. $15 for this little guy. $40 for this guy. $40 for just this guy. Got this whole set for $15. $40 for this. Never take the price they offer, always go low. So next up, what we had is something that I haven't seen a lot of around there as far as people going out and flipping stuff. It's estate sales. You can find them online, go ahead and take a look. There's a bunch of different ones out there. HiBid, uh, you've got local estate firms that do it, MaxSold. There's a bunch of different places you can check, but usually a great place to pick up a ton of stuff at great prices. So I'm gonna show you what we grabbed on this one. We got these boys here. We got this one and this one for— so the 2 of them together for $15. They go together, they're part of a set. Probably you'll be able to sell them for $10 apiece. So $20, not much on that one. You don't make a ton. These guys here, old video game, vintage video games, handhelds. These things are great. These ones especially, Karnov, that one goes for triple what I paid for it. This one's gonna be double what I paid for it. Double Dragon II. Double Dragon II. Again, if you can make sets, sets go better. People like to get more for what they're spending. Remember I talked on the YouTube video about vintage? Check that out. Christopher Reeve's vintage Superman: The Movie comic book. Tell me that's not gonna sell. Vintage plus DC superheroes, greatest Superman of all time. You know that's gonna sell. Old video games. Again, anything— always check out NES cartridges and ColecoVision. Some of them are worth nothing, some of them worth a bundle. This Frenzy cartridge, this Frenzy cartridge, we picked it up for $10. It's gonna go for $40. $10 to $40, quadruple on just this little cartridge here. Old action figures. So you've got a 1970s Green Lantern, you've got, uh, Battlestar Galactica toys. Again, you've got newer toys, Justice League. All the superhero stuff goes well. Limited edition video game toys. This stuff is great, especially new in box like this, sealed. This stuff, you can tell that this has never been opened because of the seal on it. So new in box like that. Lego sets, new in box, not been opened, got everything in it. Great stuff, great pickups on that. Now we are off to check out some Value Village, Salvation Army, see what we can find there. Let's go. All right, can't even remember the name of the store. Shoe— Shoe Company. Shoe something. Shoe Company. Shoe Company, go in, head to the back of the store, clearance section. Stickers are marked down. Blue sticker is the sticker you want. 70% off sticker price. Okay, so we paid not $84, we paid far less. We paid $84 for not one, not two, but 3 pairs Of these sweet DC kicks. And these bad boys are selling. There's like 15 of these that have sold in the last week on eBay. So we paid $80 for 3. Guess what one pair is going for right now on eBay? That's right, $92. $92. We made profit on one pair of shoes. Not one, but 3 for $90. Money is It's, it's just there. All right guys, weekend's done. Tallying it all up— cost, what it's selling for on eBay, and the profit that we stand to make from it. Now I broke it down into 4 different categories, okay? So what we're looking at is anything from consignment shops, so Value Village, Salvation Army, that's all in one category. Arbitrage, so anything from a Winners, a Marshalls, a Walmart, Target, anything of that nature, that's going to be in another category. Next up, we've got anything from apps. So anything that we picked up from Facebook Marketplace, Letgo, anything of that nature, that's going to go into a section. And last but not least, estate sales. So anything from MacSold or auction houses, that's going to go in one category. I want to break down the numbers for you real quick here. We'll get that done and we'll be able to see not only what we stand to make, but maybe also figure out what's more profitable for us. Let's do this. All right guys, first up, anything from consignment shops. Now we picked up a bunch of great stuff. We picked up, uh, action figures, uh, playing card mugs, Elmos, Tiggers, all kinds of fun little doodads from, uh, Value Village and Salvation Army. Uh, in total we spent $45 at those locations over the weekend, and the eBay sales for that are $202 right now. So that's what those items would sell for right now on eBay. That's what sold listings of the same items have gone for in the last 30 days. All in all, if we look at our sale and profit on consignment shops, we're looking to make $157. All right, what's next? All right, taking a look at what we picked up off of Facebook apps and let go, we grabbed Transformers. So those big Transformers, we picked up the Armada set, picked up some Lego sets, Fallout collectibles, Hot Wheels stuff. All in all, guys, we spent $105 on anything from our apps. On eBay right now, those items have sold for $427. That leaves us with profit of $322 from our Facebook apps and Letgo apps. So anything from the apps, $322 was the potential profit that we can pull off of that. All right guys, next up is the estate sales, and what we're looking at with the estate sales is anything that came from MaxSold or auction houses, that type of bidding. Uh, what we're looking at is a total of $162 spent. Okay, so that was old collectibles, action figures, Legos, some video game cartridges, all kinds of stuff of that nature, ColecoVision stuff, Nintendo stuff. So we found all of that great vintage stuff, spent $163. On eBay right now, that stuff is going for about $500. So $507 is what we were able to see on eBay from sold listings of the same products. That leaves us with $344 potential profit on those. All right guys, last but not least is arbitrage. So this is anything from stores like Marshalls, Winners, Walmart— stuff that's off the shelf, new in box, and it's— we got it through clearance or sales, something of that nature. Okay, so what we were able to pick up was about $245 worth of stuff that was shoes, action figures, toys, Hot Wheels, all kinds of stuff like that. Now these things are new in box, so keep that in mind. We were able to find on eBay all of those items new in box for $750, standing to make us $500 and change in profit. All right guys, grand total. Total spent, $558. Okay, total eBay sales, potential sales based off of sold listings that are on that marketplace, Right now from the last 30 days, $1,885. Total profit of $1,328. Not bad for a day, right? $1,300 in your pocket for a day's work. That was 8 hours total. Now listing is going to add another 2 hours on there, so we'll say 10 hours. You guys don't have to make a YouTube video about it, so don't worry about that. You guys don't have to add that into your time. We'll add the tank of gas and a lunch in there if you want, but ultimately we're looking at $100 an hour that pulled in on this. Now, if you guys think that this is something that could be a moneymaker for you, let me know down in the comments below how you would get started, where you would go first. What do you think? Consignment, clearance, estate sales, apps? What's your place? What do you prefer? Let me know down in the comments below, and I will catch you tomorrow with another great video. Bye.
