Is Being an ENTREPRENEUR easy (RANT)

Dan Willis breaks down why entrepreneurship isn't easy: real founders work 12-14 hour days, sacrifice family time, and face constant paycheck uncertainty. Most people stay in 9-to-5 jobs because the risk is too scary, and no coach or video can replace the actual grind.

Who told you it was gonna be easy? Stick around, guys. There's something we gotta iron out here that just doesn't sit right. Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen. I'm Dan, the Millennial Motivator, here helping you learn how to create, engage, and inspire 6 videos a week, Monday through Saturday. If you're a business owner, an entrepreneur, somebody that's looking to figure out how to do digital marketing online, use your social media more effectively, this is the place for you. So click that subscribe button and the little bell and you get a notification when my next video goes up. But today I'm going to do a video, it's going to be a little bit shorter than my usual videos and it's going to be my first rant, okay? And this comes out of a lot of different questions that I've seen either on my socials, so Instagram or Twitter. Following me, go ahead. Or out of the meetings that I've had, conversations that I've had with people throughout the week, it's baffling to me. Here is the rant. Here's the issue that I've got, okay guys? To hear people sit back and go, I want to be an entrepreneur. Okay? I want to be an entrepreneur. Normally I follow that question up with, what do you want to do? And they go, I don't know. Or, well, I had this idea and it's kind of like this. Oh great, so when are you gonna get started? Well, I'm waiting. It just baffles me. I'm left utterly stunned. Somewhere along the way, somebody said, well, being an entrepreneur is really easy. You just come up with ideas and then they happen somehow magically and it's really easy. People that are entrepreneurs aren't Aren't out there doing the work that's necessary to make things happen. They just have ideas all the time. They're idea people. And it's total bull. You can't buy into that at all. Every entrepreneur I know that is successful— I'm not talking about the guys that sit back, have an idea, live in mom's basement, and aren't doing anything. I'm talking about the people that are out there hustling and grinding every day. We're talking long days, 12 to 14-hour-long days, okay guys? Massively long days of hard work. They sacrifice time with their family. They sacrifice hobbies, recreational time, because they have a love and a passion for seeing their ideas come to life. Okay, it's not easy. It's hard. So the clarification that I want to give to you people out there, whether you're old or young, it doesn't matter to me. What matters to me is this: if you say I want to be an entrepreneur and you think it's gonna be easy, give your head a real hard shake. It's not true. It's not right. It's not gonna work out. I can promise you this: if you want to be an entrepreneur, the key to it is great idea, great passion for what you want to do, and hustle. Hard work. It's not gonna be easy. You want to know why the majority of people out there have a 9-to-5 job? They've got a 9-to-5 job because it scares the hell out of them to go be an entrepreneur, break away from the safety and security of a handcuff to a desk, and And grinding that out 9 to 5 every day knowing that there's a paycheck coming in the mail. The scary part about freedom and being an entrepreneur, guys, is you don't know that there's a paycheck in the mail. You know, the only thing that you know is you have the freedom to pursue your ideas, hustle, grind, try to make them work, and you gotta work hard at them. Hard. There is no easy in being an entrepreneur, guys. So if you are considering being an entrepreneur, This channel's got lots of great videos for you, but I'm going to tell you this. No video, no coach, no consultant, no counselor, nobody is going to get you to be a successful entrepreneur if you're not willing to put in the hard work. It's not easy. It's hard. That's the rant. That's it for today. I'll catch you guys tomorrow with another video. I hope those of you that want to be an entrepreneur get this, understand it, shake off all those people that are out there saying it's easy, anybody can do it. And you hustle, you grind, you get down to it, and you do the thing that other people can't get done because they think it's easy. It's hard. Make it happen. Let's go. Bye.
