It's not about the leaps and bounds. It's about the inches and small steps forward.

Small daily actions compound into massive progress over time. Track modest accomplishments in a journal or task list, then review past entries to see how consistency builds a mountain of achievement. Tiny tasks eventually explode into substantial results.

Sun's out. It is another beautiful day. I was going through my journal that I do every day and just looking at it and going, it really is amazing that in a day you can make a list. Some people do, you know, a list of 3 things they want to get done in a day. Some people do a list of 10 things they want to accomplish in a day. Some people have more. They've just got a bigger list of things to get done. But what's amazing is tracking that and having that journal and having that ability to, Not just track daily of like, okay, did I accomplish the things that I had set out to accomplish today? But having that ability to go back and take a look and see, okay, how much actually got accomplished in a week, in a month? Because, you know, on any given day you can feel like, oh, I didn't really get done what I needed to get done today. Maybe you don't even get the whole list done. Maybe you only got 5 or 6 things done. But when you look back over a month, 6 months, a year, and you take a look at all of those days and everything that got done in that time, it is staggering, absolutely staggering to see how much small actions built up over time create this effect of just sheer magnitude. It becomes this mountain of look at what you can accomplish with each small action, with each Step, which with each small thing. And it's really encouraging when you're trying to do something new and it feels really hard at first. It feels like, okay, I don't know what I'm doing really. I don't know where I'm going. It feels like it's this huge thing and I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do next. The reality is having that experience of all of the small things add up, you can take confidence that even though it may not feel like you're doing much at first, Even though it may feel like you are just taking these insignificant little gains, the reality is over time, those little gains, they just explode. They become a mountain over time. Just an encouragement. If you're doing little things, they add up. Keep doing them.
