A speaker uses Mufasa's "remember who you are" from Lion King to argue that identity is defined right now, not by your past or what others expect. You have to decide who you are, declare it clearly, then cut through the noise and act on it.

So I was listening to a sermon from Mark Driscoll and it brought to mind the scene from The Lion King where Mufasa rolls in on the clouds and he says, remember who you are. Not who you were, not who you will be, who you are right here, right now in this moment. You are this thing. Nobody else gets to define that. You get to define it. But give yourself a serious look. Who are you? And if you can't define that, put in the time, define it. But if you know who you are— I am a lion. It's amazing what you can accomplish. You can clear the noise, the clutter, the opinions of the world, and just get it done. So who are you?
