Morning Stock Market Analysis $PALO $ODP $TNP $MYOS(July 1/2020)

In this live‑stream market commentary, the host reviews the day’s notable equity moves, focusing on Pola (ticker PALO) and assessing whether its recent surge is driven by genuine business fundamentals or a pump‑and‑dump scheme. He examines Pola’s 10‑K/10‑Q filings, highlighting an 87% Q4 revenue decline, limited customer disclosures, a going‑concern audit opinion, cash runway to September, and a massive volume spike of tens of millions of dollars. The discussion then shifts to biopharma tickers such as NMTR, Innovate Biopharma, and Entasis, probing FDA pipeline status, phase‑3 antibacterial programs, and the lack of clear COVID‑19 related news. The host also comments on broader market events including reverse splits, mergers, and acquisitions, and provides a brief analysis of recent U.S. remdesivir trial results, noting modest efficacy and the implications of the U.S. buying most of the drug supply. Throughout, he references supply‑chain concerns (Toyota/Bosch engine partnerships), COVID‑related operational disruptions, and regional reopening status. The segment ends with a recap of the day’s movers and a sign‑off for the next morning’s session.
Chapters
Good morning, guys. We are back at it. New day, new market to look at. Let's get down to it. Another chapter 11. Good morning. Okay. So I needed the sleep in this morning, guys. Thank you for that. Appreciate you guys being so patient waiting for me to get on here. It's gonna be a short one today. Starlink. All right, what are we looking at? Okay, Europe is green. We are green. 9 meters biopharma. What? Why does it say innovate? We were so busy watching our plays that we honestly didn't even see the, the spy movement. Crazy. I've already started arresting people. I just don't know with Boeing. I just don't know. Yeah, I mean, about the certification first and foremost, I don't know that they get certification. Or the recertification. Man, what is the shortcut? Where does this save? There's got to be a faster way to do this, but All right. All right. All right, guys. So here's Pola. This is one of the ones that we looked at yesterday. They skyrocketed, and the question is: Is this a result of? Is this a result of good business or is this just a pump and dump? Well, we went into the 10-K or the 10-Q, their quarterly report. Um, 87% decline in revenue in the 4th quarter. Now it's discussing all the places that it could be used, but they're not discussing where it's actually seeing orders. Strong customer base. Okay, here we go. They're saying tier one telecommunications providers, but who? There's no there's no names of companies here. It's just. Namibia. These are countries that they're in, but there's no Okay. So here's the news that they like. Increase in natural disasters, emergencies, backup power for residential and commercial applications. In addition, we believe the rise in use in electric vehicles and truck will strain the electrical grid. During 2018, we developed supply relations with Toyota Engines in Japan and Bosch in Germany to develop a new series of long-life, low-maintenance, fuel-efficient Engines, I believe. Okay, so solar hybrid engines. Was 16th on RobinTrack yesterday with only 2K new holders, so not obviously a pump and dump. Um, but RobinTrack isn't the extent of retail traders. So when we look at the volume that this had yesterday, so on average it sees 86,000. This had some obscene volume yesterday. Uh, let me see if I can find it. It was something obscene. It was like $80 million in volume yesterday. That can't be it. Can't be $146 million. Um, but the news on this thing is— I'm going through the 10-K again here to, to understand the play. Um, okay, so they developed a Toyota engine in Bosch in Germany, fuel-efficient engines. Says they received orders for this already. Okay, Toyota engines using LPG or propane generators. They're based out of California, so they're essentially shut down. Okay, so here's the fun section, guys. This is the risks section. So they furloughed 79 employees. Our liquidity could be negatively impacted if these conditions continue for a significant period of time. Our independent registered public accounting firm indicated in its report on our audit consolidated financial statements as of and for the years of December 2019, 2018, there's Substantial doubt about our ability to continue as a going concern. A going concern opinion indicates the financial statements have been prepared assuming we will continue as a going concern and do not include any adjustments to reflect the possible future effects of the recoverability and classification of assets. They've got enough cash on hand to go till September 30th. Okay, so let's do this. Okay. Substantially all of our revenues come from a DC power base with the telecommunications market— AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile. They've got no long-standing orders. Yeah, over 46 times their 50-day average. It's exactly it. Their volume is through the roof yesterday. Yikes. So this is the good news is they, they like this thing about Toyota, but we've established relationships with third-party engine suppliers. Purchase from Yanmar, Kubota, Perkins. Purchases from these were 39%, 3%, and 10% of our total sales. We do not have any long-term contracts or commitments with any of these suppliers. We manufacture and assemble our DC power systems at our facilities located in California. Any prolonged disruption, whether due to COVID or otherwise— So Gardena, California, let's see what the lockdown's like there. Reopening guidelines. As of June 29th, is in stage 3 of reopening. Okay, so they're out of lockdown now. Okay. So this is year ending 2018 and 2019. These numbers aren't in thousands. These are just what is. So 2018, they burned $848 million. This year they burned $4 million. 16% decrease. Net sales were only slightly up. Their cost of sales was way up. Although we experienced an overall increase in net sales, sales this 4th quarter were only $878,490. This represents an 87% decrease in net sales compared to our 3rd quarter of 2019. In addition, we experienced a decline in revenues during the 1st quarter of 2020. Believe this recent decline in revenues is a result of a combination of factors, including temporary shift by Tier 1 communications. Come on. Okay, $19 million in— oh, total assets, other assets, total assets, $23 million total assets. Liabilities, $5 million. So $5 million in profit. Their operations cost them $4 million this year. That's crazy. A net loss of $4 million. What is the market cap? Let's see if there's any early movers this morning. So Office Depot is on the reverse split, so we knew that was going to happen. Okay, so wire these guys up. 400%. Okay, so this is a reverse split as well. Okay, so this is up 229% on this merger. Okay, so Mios is essentially being squeezed out in this merger. Merger. Matt Avail is just buying their, their stock position. Okay, so I don't think that that stays up 400%. Nine meters biopharma NMTR. Why doesn't this come up? NMTR. Weird. What site we're using to view the current state of FDA certification of a drug? That's so where something is in the pipeline. That's typically on the site. So you would go to a company like Innovate Biopharma. Right, you go to their website. Click on pipeline and every single biopharma will have a pipeline section. This is where you can see where they are. Interesting. INNT. Innovate Pharma and RDD cause 9 meters, so I and NT. There's no news on it. Hmm, why is this up? See if there's an FDA approval. So this is Pelosi saying that she's demanding that they follow these guidelines. Morning. No, no, no. I don't see anything in orphan designation here either, so it's not in there. Hmm. That's good news for Immutep. ETTX again, pre-market. Okay, so Entasis has 4 drugs in phase 3 testing that are antibacterials. So 2 Phase 3, a Phase 1, and a preclinical. Apparently their rise was on some kind of a COVID tie, but I'm not seeing it. They've got a gonorrhea drug and they've got a Hmm. That's a very specific bacteria that this is an antibacterial for. I don't see a COVID tie here. It's at parity with their competitor. Gonorrhea treatment. Hmm. I mean, I. How do you spell that word? I knew there was an H in there somewhere. Okay. Uh, how are these guys adjusting? All right. Let's see here. I wonder, can they actually do this? So it looks like the response is yes, they can, but they probably won't. I think I may have been blocked. Yeah. Man, it is 7 o'clock already. So these are the big movers for today, guys, so far. Um, so this is a split, this is a split, this is a merger slash acquisition, and this guy here, there's no news, so I'm still having a hard time understanding why this one is up. U.S. buys almost the entire global stock of potential COVID-19 treatment. Yikes, that's gonna be a bit of a backlash. 53 patients. It's not really a large group. 7 of the 53 died, 36 showed improvement, 8 got worse. So 15 got worse or died on remdesivir, 36 showed improvement. Well, I mean, not for the 36 that got better. It's not worse, but it's definitely not so great for the 15 that got worse or died. I don't know that we can herald that as a cure. Now, it's interesting that the US has bought up pretty much all of it, so the rest of the world can fend for themselves with something else, which is what everybody's been saying pretty much all along, is that you would have to fight. Your country's gonna have to come up with a cure if you want it. You're gonna have to come up with it, unfortunately. All they say about the sample group is that it was 53 people that were considered high risk, so it doesn't. That were critical. All right guys, it's 7 o'clock. Uh, I think I am done for the morning. I will catch you guys tomorrow, 4:30 AM Eastern Standard Time. Sorry I was late getting in here today. I hope you guys have an amazing day in the market. Uh, take it easy and I will catch you tomorrow.
