Chapters
So just talking with my buddy from the States and going through kind of the story of life. How did I get to where I was in business? How did I get through everything? How did I build a family? All those questions. And the interesting thing was, and he was the one who came up with this, goes, man, every time something terrible happens, then you do something else. And that really got me thinking that It is amazing to be able to look back and see through every trial, through every hardship. In the moment, it feels like you are dying. Ellie passing away for sure was one of those big ones. My family leaving and heading to Ottawa when my mom got work. Like, there was just, there's several points and moments in life where it was just, it felt terrible. Did not feel great. But on the other side of each of those, something amazing happened. Found a family, found a church, found a calling, found a— all of those things happened after and on the other side of the trial. And so just as an encouragement, it was encouraging to me, so hopefully it's encouraging to you guys. If you're in it, if you're in the thick of it right now, if you are, if you're down and it just feels like you're taking it in the jaw, the other side of this, there's something huge waiting. There just is. It happens over and over again. There is a bigger plan and there's a bigger purpose than where you currently are. Really encouraging to look back.
