Hi, I'm Daniel from Duran, a product design studio for growth-stage tech teams. Together we explore what's working, what's not, and what you can learn from the newest launches on Product Hunt. Let's dive in. First, we have Astute. Win buyers through the voices they already trust. As you can see, we have the Product Hunt badge here. Get started and see how it works. A video, their own trust builders, some highlights. Yeah, some of the elements look a bit AI-generated like this one, but other than that, it's fine. Okay, let's create an account. Get started. It's a very clean sign-up, sign-in page. Can start with Google. We can sign in with an email. Let's switch to— oh, it's a bit confusing now because I have, are you a creator? Click here. Don't have an account? Sign up. This is sign in. Maybe just somehow moving this a bit further down or somehow finding a way to balance it better because right now I'm not sure if I'm a creator or not or what the creator means. Okay, let's go with sign up Google. Okay, and they just mentioned now that it works only with company emails. They could have said this before. So we have to go back and let's create another one with the company email. Okay, account creation. Let's start with your website. What does this thing do? Company email, company website. It's nice that they at least show you the number of steps and the rest of it is quite clean. So that's nice. Analyzing the website. Okay. And should I, I assume I have to wait. I'm not sure what are these things here. This will take 2 to 3 minutes by what they say. And now, oh, this step I removed on top. They could have just started there. And I'm also on just profile. So the first step, but it was a bit weird because like we had it at the bottom in the beginning, right? And now it's here on top. They could just put it here and it stays in the same place. Okay, we move to the next one, searching the web after they reviewed the website. Now reading key pages. I'm not sure if those key pages are part of my website or other pages, but it's good that they have at least a breakdown of like what's happening. But yeah, it, it takes a while to go through all the steps. It might be a problem. I'm not sure how many people actually wait this long. Okay, so now everything is done. Let's go with continue. And I'm still on first step. Stages, not sure what's a stage like. I assume it's not that important in this case. Yeah, let's say looks right. Now it moved into strategy, customer audiences. Okay, in our case, it's Yeah, it is the founder, co-founder, but usually it's not the CEO. Okay, but now these doesn't match with this one. Let's go with this one. Okay, we can, I assume we can, we can keep these for now. They put actually the CTO here, but sometimes the CTO can also be founder, co-founder, or a lot of times actually. Okay, and now we are still on the strategy side. Okay. Cool. Let's go continue. Okay. Let's just go with the suggestion. I'm very curious to where this will actually lead in the end. Go with that. You can make changes at each step, as you can see. But it's nice that they give you some guidance, some next steps. And if you want, you can intervene or if you feel that some changes are needed. Okay. Now the strategy is being built out. Okay, yep, I'm happy with these. You can read the details there. Oh, now I— so can I go back? Yeah, I can go back. So there are the details. You can open these to read into it. And then we have the campaigns now. Okay, did I interrupt something? Oh no, it's still working. It's fine. Okay, and you can read the briefs as well. Okay, and this one as well. And okay, let's just go. Let's go with the flow. And now I assume we are inside of the product. Things changed a bit. We have this sidebar, which wasn't here in the before this. The rest of it kind of stayed the same. I would say it just pushed the sidebar. The animation was a bit weird because like flickers the whole screen. It would have been nice if it just like collapse, expand. So we have the brief. Let's go with this. They suggest $1,000 per placement. And now we can like get creator matches. Searching for creators. And then we will just wander a bit around the product to see how the other parts of the product look. Okay, and we have some matches. That's actually cool. And then I assume you can like select one and you can create with this one without a promo code. Oh, what, I have to separately pay for the plan? And they put it here at the end. A bit sneaky, but yeah. Let's see the rest of the product in the meantime. So you can create a new campaign. I assume you start from the beginning. Placements, ads, editorial, and so on. Okay. These are the things that we worked on already. This is the strategy. This strategy applies as a whole from what I see, or it's a strategy desk. Okay, and we have partnerships and media monitoring, which I'm not sure what it is. And if I can archive the campaigns as well, and can I make changes to the strategy? So I assume I can make changes to the strategy if, if I start chatting here, I assume. But yeah, overall quite interesting product so far, and most of it is nicely done. Like, the design is clean. I'm not a big fan of the shadows and such, but That's, that's more like a taste thing. So you can, you can clean up the designs and such. The filters, honestly, I saw the filter label right now. I wasn't sure what are these here on top. So I don't necessarily have a dashboard. As I see, it's more like these are the campaigns and then you can go through the campaigns. You can create a new campaign. You can navigate the other campaigns. Maybe here I would add like a plus or something like that, just to make sure that like this is creating a new campaign and it's not a campaign called New Campaign. And I'm not sure why it's 1 here. I have 2 campaigns, or they just probably picked the ones that have matches already. But you can see this is— yeah, most probably yes. Now this is the one that needs my focus. So this page for me, it's a bit crowded. We could highlight maybe this one or move these a bit further down or something. So if this is the thing that I should work on, then let's get these out a bit of my, of my sight or highlight this somehow better. And this is the only one that doesn't have anything. So it doesn't have a CTA, doesn't have anything here. It just says your move and that's all. But the highlight, it's on this one. So, so yeah, either could be discard here on top as well and then didn't show up here. That might be another idea. So yeah, it can be improved. Let's put it that way. Other than that, yeah, the product, it's simple to use. I wouldn't say it's very complicated. You have everything here that you need. The flows are not very complicated, so you just go through step by step. And they also use patterns that are common across other similar products, like other similar AI products. So you type on one place, you have the output on the other side. There was some of those glitches when the sidebar appeared or when the navigation on the onboarding moved from the bottom to the top. But yeah, other than that, it's an interesting product and most of it looks fine. Okay, up to the next one. The QA agents for your website. Okay, let's decline the cookies. They have a glitch here on the website, so I'm not sure how this is supposed to work, but the rest of the page is like colorful. It's nice. Okay, let's get started. So I assume you can click on this button. Yes. But does it work? I can also type in here. Let's see. Start. Something is happening. Not sure what they install something or not sure what's with this install. Okay. Some agents are running. I can add my email here. I can leave comments. Okay. Now what? Something has insufficient contrast. Okay. Let's go back to the main page. Can I go back to the main page? This doesn't work. So I cannot do that. And now what should I do next? Okay, cannot do anything here. Or at least I cannot figure it out. This also doesn't help. Not sure. Oh, okay. But this is quite easy to miss actually, because nothing showed up. I couldn't see it. So maybe popping this up, I saw this is yellow, but I cannot do anything here. And this, I'm— it's not working properly. Anything else running in the background or I cannot go back as well. Let's go like this. Let's click on Get Started and yeah, let's just try once again. See if this is better by signing up with the email. Okay, now I'm back where I started. Oh, here it is. Let's put my website here once again. You can upload a bunch of files from what I see. And now this runs again the 5 agents. So, okay. So should I install it? Looks like yes. And if I, this will verify if it's installed. I won't install it now, but the agents are still running. The small bar, it's back. Okay, spell check stopped, broken links stopped. So I'm not sure if these stopped or everything is fine. Because those are 2 different things. If everything is fine, maybe just like can be a checkmark or something. There are some small alignment issues as well, like this chevron, it's not in the middle, but that's not a big problem to fix. Still running. Okay, so Lighthouse found 3 issues. How can I— okay. And we have the accessibility checker as well. And if we go back to the Dashboard. This is the dashboard and this is my project. I still have to install the script and invite people. We have analytics which doesn't show anything yet. Not sure when, probably after a couple of days if the script is installed or yeah. Things are jumping a bit around when I switch between tabs. We have the AI, we have the users, which is just me at the moment. Settings, support. Oh, I don't need this one. Let's go back here. So yeah, the home itself, it's simple. We have the issues found, they are extracted here, Lighthouse and accessibility. And what can I do with these? So I have this, okay, can put them some, no, it just opens the website. And here says desktop, desktop, but this says mobile here. So I'm not sure how this works now. If you move this to mobile, nothing shows up there. So it looks like there are a couple of things that needs to be fixed yet. Like design-wise, the dashboard, it's clean, it's easy to navigate, but contrast-wise, this probably won't be very visible on some of the screens. It's easy to find the project, so that's good. This is a bit confusing for me. I wasn't sure what's happening here. It looks like a disabled button, but it's actually a menu, a search, I assume. Okay, and if you go inside of your project, you have this modal, which I'm not sure why it's here. Probably I would prefer to land first on the agents and then on the other one, since the main thing of the product are the agents, at least how I understood it. But okay, and the other things, you can sign out, analytics not working, SKI. So far it's not important. They have something called approvals and agents on the, under the agents. Yeah, these are the agents that probably test the website and under approvals you can create workflows. Oh, okay. So this starts to be a bit more complex. So you can define, I assume, a trigger on all of the projects. The agent is here. What can I, if something happens, what can be the trigger though? Manual click or schedule or installed app. Okay. And then under agents, you can select which agent you want, where to run, and then you have a manual review. You can select the person that approves or rejects. That's nice. You can also group things. Yeah. The workflow builder is also like quite easy. It's simple. I'm not a big fan of the input fields. And in some cases, you can see when these are focused, they cut the edges. And they are different. This one looks in a way, this one looks another way. So there are some standardization issues as well. And also, if I open this, I cannot close it, or I close it— how? Oh, I have to click on the same thing twice, and that's it. Awesome. So that's— I guess that's it, right? What other things we can do? Not much. Yes. Yep, that's it. Let's go to the next one, which is Supernova. All your data in one place. Okay, so that's the website. Let's just sign up, see how that goes. Continue with email. Oh, I have to actually continue with email. Oh yeah, sorry, my bad. What was a bit confusing is that this button, like usually when you have continue with Google, you have like the Google icon and that's missing here. Okay, we are in the product. No onboarding, at least from what I saw. It's more like This is what I should do, but there's like a lot of information, at least for my taste. These are, oh, these are demo accounts, I assume. This is how things look when everything is connected, which is nice, but I wouldn't put like all of this, all of these here. Maybe it could be a button and this could be a modal or something. You can connect data sources or apps, what kind of apps you can connect. There is like HubSpot, there is Google Analytics. Let's just go back to the dashboard for now. Oh, what happened? I'm out of the product now. Okay. Wasn't that the dashboard? That's like, what dashboard? Okay. I'm not sure where I am now. I'm a bit lost, honestly. How do I go back to where I was before? Okay. They have something called welcome, but once you navigate it from this, you cannot really come back. That's interesting. And this is a dashboard. Okay, can I do anything with dashboard? Like they have the charts, they aggregate everything in one place. Let's see Google Mixpanel. This is for Mixpanel. If you go to dashboard, it's like just new dashboard and that's it. That's the whole thing. Here you can build out the dashboard. You can say you want text dashboard title. And then can you do anything else? Not much. You can add another element like charts and you can say what this should show. Okay, I don't have sources connected. So it might be a good idea in this case to have like a button to like add source or connect data source or something that could help. Table, what's a table? It's the same thing. Okay, just how you show the information. Like you can add Filters as well. That's nice. So you can add a bunch of stuff. The only thing is that if you don't connect to the data source, then it's a bit useless. New chat. What the chat can do? Oh, I assume you can talk with an agent or something based on the data, but it's a bit weird positioning the new chat button here. Let's see. So under the chat, you have new chat, and then You basically can ask questions, build a dashboard, and so on. Data, so far we don't have anything here, but I can import. Maybe a button would be helpful in this case as well, somehow guiding people towards the next step. So if I don't have data, maybe just let's connect an app, and that could help. Files, I'm not sure what's files. Probably if I upload something, it will come here. API, MCP, I have settings as well, billing, and That's all. Let's try to connect maybe something from here and just see what will show up. Let's go with Google Analytics. Let's sign in with Google. This one, I assume we don't have anything on this particular account. Okay. And then if we go to the dashboard now, this also looks a bit weird. So this is a new dashboard that I just created. I guess the name is New Dashboard. Oh, I have to click on edit. Things are moving around quite a lot, my dashboard. And that makes it a bit challenging to fill in. And now if I add a chart, we still don't have data, but also the sources doesn't show up. Shouldn't show up the fact that I have like something already connected. I'm not sure. Okay, going back, new chat. There's a little bit too much like back and forth, I would say, at least that's my feeling. So if I click on build a dashboard of signups by week, in our case, we don't necessarily have anything like that. Just curious to see how this will go. Now it looks like it won't work or still says sending here. It looks frozen. Yeah, so both on the UX side can be some improvements, I would say. But also on like some technical parts, like I'm not sure what's happening now. It looks like I cannot do anything. And yeah, let's refresh, maybe ask something else. Still sending, but I can also type in here. Okay, now something showed up here. So just from that prompt to getting here took a while. And then it explores my data and such, but we don't have data. This is still running the query and I cannot stop it either. That could be helpful to just let me stop if I set something. Oh, I'm not sure what I've done now. Okay, so here things are a bit weird. I would say it's slow in some places and it doesn't give me feedback that what I added, what I created, it actually somehow gets into the system. Let's put it that way. And here It's a bit weird that we have all these sections, but like my dashboard is just this. Maybe it has pictures or something. And now I'm not sure what's that. There are also themes. It's nice that you can select from different themes, but a dashboard, I think it should be better than this. So I can create also a new dashboard. I'm not sure what that will do. Is that something different than This, or what's the difference between the workspace and the dashboard? Now, I'm not sure. Everything looks a bit complicated. So yeah, I think it could benefit of a bit of a cleanup. Like otherwise, yeah, I will just pause this. Probably like cleaning it up a bit on the dashboard, making it easier to navigate and also the chat maybe to be a bit more smoother, easier to work with. Like even here, we could, you could just have the chat instead of like having chats and then having this and I click new chat and then I have this here. So basically I could just end up here and maybe having this new button a bit more visible. That's it for today. Hopefully you found some interesting ideas, thoughts, suggestions that you can use in your own product. See you next time.
