A 12-minute guided breathwork and somatic meditation led by Char (uploaded to YouTube). The session opens with posture and grounding cues, then moves through three distinct breathing segments: 1) mouth breathing with deep belly/diaphragm inhales and shorter exhales, 2) breath-hold at the top of the inhale, and 3) nose-in, mouth-out breathing with elongated exhales. The host offers body-check prompts (shoulders, lower back), intention-setting (what to release and embody), and an optional extra song for extended relaxation. Runtime noted as ~14 minutes including the extra track.

Hello, hello, hello, all you beautiful beings. Welcome to my daily breath work practice. My name is Char and I'll be guiding you through this journey today. This is a 12 minute practice that you can do either laying down or sitting up like a traditional meditation. Just generally how I practice this one. I do recommend that you do this with your eyes closed so that you can focus your intention inward on your body and your state of being. We're going to breathe in and out through our mouth for the first song coming up, focusing on filling our belly like a balloon on our inhale and a shorter exhale. The next song, we're going to do one breath hold at the top of our inhale and hold it as long as we can. And then for the last song, we'll breathe in through our nose, out through our mouth, slowing down our exhale, and that's it. Overall, it will take about 12 minutes, including this introduction, so plenty of wiggle room to do this on a break from work. The run time shows a total of about 14 minutes because I've included an extra song. You want to sit in relaxation a bit longer, but you are in control of your time today. If you're short on time in the future, you can fast forward to about three and a half minutes and get right into it. For now, I'd like you to sit up straight. Breathe in and out through your nose. As we get grounded, make your spine as straight as possible. Think of it like a beacon running through your body, rounding you to this earth. Running up through your body, reaching up, up to the sky and the cosmos. Take a moment to check in with any tension in your body. Release any tension in your shoulders. Wiggle out any tension in your lower back. Maybe you're tense all over. Breathe into the places where you are tense. Let's begin active breathing. Let's breathe in and out through our mouth. Take long inhales, filling your belly and your diaphragm like a balloon. Deep breathing, thinking about what do you want to clear out today? Sweep it out with the breath stress. Do you want to let go of today? Put it behind you. All right, take one last inhale. Hold it at the top, holding that inhale as long as you and I want you to think about what do you want to embody as you move through your day today? Sam, as long as you can and whenever you're ready, return to your breath. When you return to your breath, I want you to breathe in through the nose, out through the mouth, and that's going to be in through the nose. Out through the mouth. Elongate each exhale. Try to get taller with each inhale you take. What does it feel like to live your purpose? Breathe it in, breathe it in as if it's already happening right now. What does living your purpose look like? Get clearly. Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth. How much can you relax into? All that you've all already are. One more deep inhale. Good. There's an extra song if you just want to stay a little bit longer on that relaxed breathing state. Thank you for coming on this journey with me today. Love, light and blessing.
