Welcome everyone. As you're joining in this morning, let's take a deep inhale in together and let it all go. This is your first time joining. It's an honor to have you join in this daily guided breathwork practice. My name is Morgan and it's an honor to guide this practice on Mondays with you and just open up a space for you to really take up space and to go internal, go inward and see whatever it is your body is ready to move through you and then ready to receive as a result of that. So if you're new to this practice, you definitely want to be in a space that you won't be disturbed, where you can maybe sit with your hands on your knees, maybe sit with your hands open for receiving, maybe even lying down if this is your first time. Sometimes in the beginning of the breathing you can get very intense. So if you want to lie down and you feel a little light headed, you can absolutely do so. But I'm here with you this entire time, guiding you in this process. It's an honor to see where all of you are tuning in from. Feel free to share in the chat, where you're coming from, maybe what time it is, where you are. This daily practice is definitely something you can do at any point in your day. It's a chance to connect inward and clear if maybe you're feeling stressed or overwhelmed or even just want to connect with yourself and give yourself that space to just be with you. In a world where we're constantly going and moving and there's just new, new things coming into our space that take up our space, it's so important to give back to ourselves. And that's what this is for, to have the space to do that. So the breathing will be very simple. And again, I'm guiding you through this entire process. It's very much structured, the same as a full somatic journey, but much shorter, much more obtainable to do day by day to give you that self regulation each day. Now, the beginning breath will be more intense, like I mentioned earlier. And think of it like a broom with your breath sweeping out what no longer serves you, what no longer belongs in your body. So it'll be deep diaphragm breathings like this. And notice my exhale is that swift exhale. But the goal of this is not about speed, but much more about the depth of your breath, the depth of the room sweeping out what doesn't belong. And then you will go into a breath hold after that beginning breath that I'm guiding you into. And Basically, for that, I'll say take a few deep inhales in and that third inhale, you will hold it at the top. And this is your space to digest whatever's coming up for you in this daily practice. Whatever your body's trying to work through and let go of, it allows you the space to pause any breathing, to actually see what that is, to see that clearly. And then the second half will be much more gentle breathing, and that will be in through the nose and long exhales through the mouth. You might notice a little tingling throughout this breathing, which is completely normal. Use it as your opportunity to just slow the breath down and really feel into your body. And whatever story it has for you in the beginning, it'll be 30 breaths each. So 30 of those intense breaths and 30 of that more re patterning gentle breathing. Now, if you do a little less than that, that's completely fine. I'm just here guiding you in your own experience. And every experience looks different. You could do this daily breath work every day for a month, and it looks different every day. What comes up for you looks different. And that's the beauty of this work. So if you're tuning in now, I encourage you to just sit in a comfortable position, hands on your knees. Again, you can lie down if that feels right to you. Just center yourself. You can go ahead now and just close your eyes and just become aware of your breath. Not trying to change it or put any pressure on it, but just aware of how it wants to show up in this moment. Just notice that breath and I invite you now to tune in to any physical sensations that you're feeling right now in your body. Just the physical sensation. Maybe that's a little tightness in your neck. Maybe your body feels very relaxed and warm. Maybe your head's hurting a little, or maybe your eyes feel heavy and you're still waking up. Or maybe you're ending your day. Acknowledge whatever those sensations are without pressure or judgment. And from there, take it one step deeper and notice any emotions. What emotions are you feeling? See that clearly again, not trying to change those emotions, but meeting them where they are at. Gratitude for being able to feel those emotions. Emotions are not good or bad, they're simply movements of energy ready to move through you. Let's take it one more step deeper. What stories are you telling yourself in this moment? If you feel called to share that in the chat, this is your safe space to do so. By peeling apart our sensations in our body and then our emotions, and then finally these stories moving more into the headspace. We're able to tune in to whatever's happening. That internal awareness, that self awareness, regret, forgiveness. Thank you so much for sharing. You are all seen and appreciated for all your emotions and all your stories. And as we're about to begin this breath work, remember you get to decide how deep you want to go. Maybe there's something in your body that's blocking you from showing up with one intention today. One thing that you want to receive. See that clearly now. Feel it fully and hold on to that intention as we begin this breath work. And remember, you have full control of your breath the entire time and you get to decide what you clear out and bring in. So let's begin. Deep inhales and exhales through the mouth. Keep going with the breath. See the overwhelm and the weight. Breathe it out. You don't have to carry that weight in your body. What stress have you been carrying for way too long? Breathe it out now. Let it go. What fears? What fears have you been carrying in your body that was never yours to carry? Breathe it out. That pressure and that weight of other. Breathe it out. Five more breaths. Let's go. How much deeper can you clear and let go? Two more breaths. One more. One more deep inhale in the middle and just hold it at the top. Now where have you been disconnected from yourself? See it clearly and feel it fully shows you direction. Whenever you're ready, you can let that breath hold go. Begin to take deep inhales through the nose and long exhales through the mouth. Breathe in that love for yourself. Give that love back to yourself in this moment with that love that you are so deserving to receive. You are so loved and seen for exactly who you are. See your center and your purpose. Breathe in that purpose and gratitude for yourself and the breath. Five more deep inhales in. With your next inhale in. Breathe in the feeling of gratitude. One more deep inhale in and just let it all go and just hold the breath out for a moment. We don't always have to like what we're thankful for, but we can still be so thankful for it. You can let that breath hold go whenever you're ready and just slow the breath down now. And how empowered and genuine to yourself can you let yourself feel throughout the rest of your day and this week? You can always come back to your breath and come back into the space now, just moving your fingers and your toes and just moving your body, maybe dancing that awareness back through your body with one more deep inhale in Just bring in that aliveness. Let it go. Such an honor to have you back this morning, this Monday to connect with your breath and just allow yourself to center back in and allow yourself to feel you can do this breath work at any point in your day.
