Welcome to your somatic daily practice. My name is Jess, and I will be guiding you through these next 10 to 15 minutes. And before we begin, we are going to ground ourselves with a short meditation just so we can ground ourselves into our bodies. So find a way to get comfortable. Move what needs to move, and close down your eyes. When you're ready, start to breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth. And do this a few times at your own pace, breathing in through the nose. And as you exhale through your mouth, make it a little longer than your inhalation. And watch as just by putting your attention on this breathing, your parasympathetic system kicks in and you are starting to calm. Down. Down. Oh. Even if your mind says you're doing it wrong, you're not. It's great breathing in through the nose, out through the mouth, and it's not labored. It's just this wonderful technology that's always with us. We can turn it on by choice. We can just let it be. Are you willing to open. Are you willing to open your heart and receive? What can you loosen the grip on to be here now? Because you're here and you deserve to be here from this place. We really want you to tune into an intention. One word for this daily practice. What do you want to receive? Not what do you want to clear out. What do you want to receive? One word. Most of the time, the thing we want to receive is already inside of us. It's already who we are. So our task isn't to seek out this attention that's outside of us, but to clear out any blockages that are in the way. So, tuning into your breath and how it is right now. Tuning into your body. Tuning into your intention. Notice if there's already something coming up for you. And in a moment, the music's going to change and we will begin. All right, let's go. Deep breaths in. In through the mouth, out through the mouth, all the way into your belly. Keep going. Deep breaths into your belly. Breathe into your sides, into your back. Deep breaths. Hold that breath all the way down. The pace isn't necessarily what's important. You'll find your rhythm with the music. It's that depth of the breath. Pull it down into your belly. That's it. Keep going. Where in your body have you been holding onto numbness? Use the breath. Clear it out. That's it. The breath is your guiding force. Clear out the armor. Clear out the armor around your heart. That's it. Clear out the weight of the world. Get it off your shoulders. Deep breaths. In through the mouth, out through the mouth. Let the breath be your driving force. Clear out the restriction. Keep going. You're almost there. Give yourself permission to feel what's bubbling up for you. That's it. The world needs you. The world needs you. At your fullest expression. You don't have to hold it back anymore. The world needs you. Clear, deep breaths. That's it. How does your body want to move? Get it out of your physical body. Keep going. We're almost there. Almost at that breath hold. You don't have to hold it together all of the time. It's okay to let yourself feel. That's a deep breath. Sound it out if you need to. Ah, that's it. All right. Coming into our breath hold. Slowing things down. When you're ready, let's take a deep breath in. Let it all go. Deepest breath in. Let this one go too. And one more. Deep breath in. And hold it at the top. We're going to hold it here for as long as we can. Connect to your heart. What is your heart saying? That's a. Keep holding. But just when you need to take that first breath in, I want you to breathe in that feeling of love. Beautiful. We're going to slow it down and feel it more. Going to be switching in through the nose and out through the mouth or nose. Whatever is most comfortable for you. In through the nose slowly and out and exhale even slower. That's it. Breathing in that feeling of love. Breathe in that feeling of love you've never had. Give it to yourself. That's it. Most of the time in our lives, we need to slow it down and feel it more. That's it. In through the nose, out through the mouth or nose. Let it wash over you. What is your heart saying? It always knows the answer, but it's not going to speak over your mind. Breathe in that feeling of love. Love for yourself and everything you've been through. Love for your journey. You've been through so much. Give it to yourself. That's it. Breathe it in. And through the nose. Slowly. Out through the mouth or nose. Even slower. Where in your body have you been resistant to love? People can only love you as much as you love yourself. That's it. Breathe it in. Welcome home, Ram.
